Oh my what a story!!!
Let’s start with that ending… omg let me just say I really hope what I’m thinking is true for Brie because that would be awesome… but no spoilers.
Now to the very sexy tale of Brie and Asher. Talk about sizzling sexiness.
And Brie’s story about her parents, truly heartbreaking.
The stones, an interesting twist especially when you bring Willow and her sword into the mix and I would seriously love a group of Novella’s on Brie’s adventures finding the stones now they would be awesome reads and how her visions link in and how she finds Cabo and Zina… just food for thought lol.
All over an amazing and magical tale that I could not put down, even at the gym I’m walking on the treadmill reading away when my trainer comes to grab me for my session and then I have to tell her all about Brenda K Davies books lol I love discussing books while lifting weights.

I love the original series Vampire Awakenings, and the whole spinoff Alliance series even more. This one follows the same story line. There are some major developments within the last few books so while they could be read independently, I highly encourage starting with the Vampire Awakenings books first and then reading through the previous Alliance books, just to understand the dynamics of what they are trying to accomplish.

This one had some interesting plot developments that I didn't foresee which was fun. I don't want to provide spoilers either but the ending was sooo good. It left my brain wondering but not in a bad cliff hanger way, more in a creative I wonder how this is going to play out way. And I'm eagerly awaiting the next one!

I can’t remember this book at all. So I will say this: Not bad. Not great. Not memorable enough to remember the main characters names by the time I am getting to this review, I’m sorry to say. Just enough quality to keep me reading/listening while I’m getting my chores done.

Listened to the Audible Audiobook. I am only leaving a review here, not on Audible, as I refuse to type out two reviews when Amazon owns both companies and refuses to link Audible to Goodreads.

I had been dying for this story and once again, she did not disappoint. You instantly get drawn into the story and the characters. Their lives become your own, as is the case with her writing.
My words do not do this book justice. All I can say is read the book, read the series, read everything you can get your hands on by her and never let go.

Such a unique paranormal world!

Bound by fate is the 8th book in the Alliance series and ideally the series should be read in order.

I’ve been waiting for this since the epic, but devastating end to the last Alliance book.

While I absolutely adored Asher, however, it took me a long time to warm to Brie.

I said in my review for Bound by Deception (book 7) that the secrets that was revealed created more questions and it’s definitely the same in Bound by Fate …

I did feel like this book was a bit slow, however, I was still completely engrossed and glued to the pages.

I knew about the plot twist as soon as I heard Brie’s backstory. I literally shouted out loud when it ended without officially confirming it.

I am so excited for the next book I can’t even put it into words!

*Spoiler* This book does have triggering content such as violence, death and torture.

This is book 8 of The Alliance series which is one of my favorite series by Brenda K Davies. A month has gone by when Asher sees Brie, the mysterious woman who warned him that there is danger coming to the Alliance compound, he decides that he needs to follow this woman to find out who she is, how she knew about the attack on the compound and why she abruptly left after warning him.

After a long chase he finally catches up to her, only to be knocked out by someone or something strong. Now he is tied up and bound in the back of a van with the mysterious woman and 2 other vamps. He begins asking questions but doesn’t get all the answers he wants. Her name is Brie, she only vaguely answers a few of his questions while he remains tied up. She explained that they didn’t want to hurt him, but that she had a mission to finish and could not let him stop her. She said if she had wanted him dead, she wouldn’t have warned him about the compound and she wouldn’t have taken him with her in the van, she would have left him back where he caught up to her and let the savages have him.

Brie and her friends take him to a secret location, give him some food and let him rest. The next morning, they talk about what to do with him. He tells her that he wants to help, he does not know what she is trying to do, but that they are both on the same side of wanting to rid the world of the savage monsters. So why not work together.

Brie is not sure why, but she has decided that she trusts him, so she tells him more about what her mission is. Even though he is not sure how her mission will stop the monsters or why he should, but he feels the need to help her.

The chemistry between Asher and Brie is hot. They are both attracted to one another, but they are unsure why.

On the mission together they face lots of danger and many challenges. Brie is still somewhat of a mystery to him. He wants to know more about her, about how she knows things, why does she have all those scars and why does he want to kill whoever hurt her.

Along the way it is clear that they feel the same way about each other, and things start to heat up between them.

This book and the series are both amazing. Plenty of action right from the start. Great character development, the story will keep you engrossed from beginning to end!

Got to love Asher and Bries story. Brie a vampire over 500 years old that has visions and on a mission to complete her visions and Asher a hunter just kept getting in her way. She had warned him about the compound getting attacked in the last book, but Asher had no idea why or who she was. There was a connection though or a feeling of some sort between them an he was determined to find out why. As Asher and the others from the Alliance are hunting down savages. Asher was also looking for Brie to try and find some answers. He finds her battling her way out of the building full of savages and running away from him. Asher chased her as if his life was depending on it and it really was. They fought each other as she was trying run away from him and the savages. As they got to her get away van Asher was knocked out and Brie had no choice but to take him with her. She couldn’t leave him to become a savage or die. Once they got away and it was safe enough they tied Asher up not sure what they would do with him. Brie realized she couldn’t just let him go. Asher knew she was his mate and he was going to have to work to prove his worth and trust to her. On one of her missions to find a stone Asher got shot and was dying she had to turn him in order to save him. Asher had to let her know about them being mates before she turned him to make sure that was what she wanted. When it all clicked together Brie realized she could not live without him and turned him. Thinking it was going to be to late, but he made it through the process. They finally figured out that Willow’s sword held the final stone they needed to get for Bries mission. That is when they called the Alliance and went there to explain what was going on. With the stone all together now there are still a lot of unanswered questions, but Saber stepped up to explain what he knew about them an knew someone that could help them. As Saber explained who he had been there was a gasp from me when I realized just who Saber is and now I am on the edge waiting for the next book to come out!!! This series just keeps getting better and better!

I got this book in exchange for my honest review this review is completely mine

Asher has been searching for Brie since the moment she warned him about the savage attack on the compound.
While out on a hunt he sees her and chases her down and manages to catch up to her but he ends up getting tangled up with a mission she's been on for her whole life. Brie has been looking for stones her whole life knowing they are what's gonna help destroy the demons. She's avoided getting close to people to avoid being hurt. She's been guarded ever since she was betrayed as a child but Asher pushes his way into her heart and she realizes she can trust him. After gathering the latest stone she finally agrees to go to the alliance where something from her past is revealed. Can the Alliance finally defeat the demons and savages? Will Brie finally open her self up to love and what happens when The Alliance comes face to face with a danger unlike any before.

This is a spin off from the Vampire awakenings series but you don't need to read that in order to enjoy The Alliance series. Brenda K Davies is an amazing author who really knows how to tell a story. Once I started reading I couldn't stop until I finished

Brenda K. Davies has brought yet another fascinating and richly developed character to the Alliance world. I love Brie! Although she has already had an extremely long existence, she still manages to maintains her faith in her calling and mission. This gives her a sort of innocent strength that makes people want to follow her and also protect her. The fact that Asher has lived so few years compared to Brie doesn't put him at a disadvantage at all, though. From the moment they meet they have a connection that is undeniable and it is clear how much these two need each other. I've been excited to have more of Asher's character revealed since he was first introduced and I was far from disappointed. I love how he is a strong support for Brie without being patronizing. They make a great couple and their story makes one incredible book. I love the whole Alliance series and Bound by Fate is definitely another must-read!

Asher and Brie

This was a really good addition to this series. I really enjoyed their story. I also liked that. Asher figured out what Brie was to him pretty quickly. I was surprised that Brie had not caught on before him. I thought Brie‘s mission was interesting and some of the trips they took to find the stones were pretty intense. The cave trip was definitely. I did feel a lot of angst throughout the book when Brie kept worrying about her vision of Asher‘s death. I really hope that that is prevented. I also enjoyed that there wasn’t some big intense fighting scene or drama in this book. It was just different and that was okay. I loved how the book ended. With everyone coming together, the stones, and the discovery of who Saber is. The book did not tell us exactly, but I have a good feeling that I know. Which is exciting and interesting!! Definitely jumping into the next book now.

What in this world is happening? First Willow’s sword and now all this!!!! What a magnificent and strong Vampire Brie is. And she will be such a asset to the Alliance and their cause. Asher and Brie’s story was fast paced and action packed from the first page to the last. I’ve had a few “Wait! What?” Moments. What a tragic past Brie had. However it has made her this incredible being worthy of so much love. Asher was off to a running start to find out who she is. Lol. I enjoy when the mates find each other and realize who they are to each other. It is such tender moments. And the friendship with Cabo and Zina is just as amazing as all the members of the alliance have. They all have each other’s back no matter what. The ending…what was that about? Book 9 cannot come fast enough. We’re going to kick some demon butt!!!!! At least I hope we are. Of course we are.

First off, the author gets better with each book. The characters are so well developed that feel like you could walk past them on the street. You care about them, their lives. There is humor, steamy scenes ( not porn but sexy steamy goodness) the need for Kleenex. There is also mystery in this tale. I can’t wait for how this will play out in future books.
Most vampires in storylines of other authors are not characters you want to meet in the dark. Brenda K. Davies vamps are much more human. That’s not to say they are all nice. There are truly evil ones. Which is great, a ying and yang.
I can’t recommend this story highly enough. Grab it, the rest of the series if you don’t have them. The weekend is upon us. You won’t regret it. You’re welcome.

Brie has been focused on a mission for a long time. She knows it’s important. She knows that her mission could be the key to defeating their enemies. She has only one problem, Asher.

Asher is her weakness and the only person that can change her life. Asher and Brie work well together. I love the chemistry between them. Asher makes her feel beautiful and wanted and he gives his love and loyalty.

So many twists and turns and missing pieces that are connected during this story. A page-turning action-packed love story that keeps you wanting more.

I love this Fabulous series and Brie and Asher have one of the best mates finding each other and fighting together for the greater good. A true gem. A must-read addictive series!

This series just gets better and better with each new book.
Brie has been alone for so long. Yes she has companions but nobody knows her past.
She is on a mission to find ten stones. Visions are guiding her when needed. She doesn’t exactly what the stones are for but does know they can help.
Asher is on the lookout for the woman stopped him at the airport.
She knew something and he wants to know how.
He’s found her but it’s not simple for either of them to trust.
Asher knows what she is.
Brie knows he is a hunter. A hunter of her kind but being in the alliance may just help him.
More savages. More puzzles to solve. And oh that ending.
Can’t wait to read bk 9

Hooked and Reeled In Fast

Bound By Fate hooked me from the very beginning and continued to reel me into the story page after page.

Asher and Brie join together, despite not trusting each other, in their fight against the Savages and Demons. The more time they spend together, searching for something Brie has seen in visions, the more their faith in each other and their attraction to each other grows.

Through the pages, Asher and Brie experience hair-raising close calls, lots of quick thinking and fast action, hot enough to melt metal moments, and answers to questions about the Savages and Demons.

But not all the answers! Davies leaves us wanting more!

nice twist

I’ve read many books on vampires, this one is so different. I usually wait till the end of a series to write a review. I guess this is a little different because there is another book to pre-order. And yes I did pre-order! I need to know what happens next! Some writers have a thing where they bring something in each book that’s the same. In this series it’s always “ they lower there shoulder and ram the enemy “. The problem with that is you leave yourself way open for them to kill you. Any fighter that is good would tell you that wasn’t a good choice in any battle. Otherwise you will not be disappointed in this series. Brenda is an excellent writer.

I have written this review twice but it seems to disappear on me..
Asher sees the woman who warned him about the compound attack and chases her.. she tries to get away from him and a bunch of savages but ends up taking him with her. She has had visions all her life, but lately they are focused on collecting stones.. very special stones..
While helping her retrieve the ninth stone they are attacked in a cave and both are wounded… to save his life she turns him, after he tells her she is his mate.
She tells him that she has seen his death.. bit of a downer☹️
The tenth stone is already with the Alliance… in Willow’s sword..
But as soon as the stones are revealed, the book ends🤨

Asher and Brie. A book of love, adventure, angst. Every second is something new on the hunt for Brie’s stones, will the stones help against the Savages and Demons or will they not? Brie has been having visions of Asher, she was never sure why until they meet and spend time together. Then they know what they are for each other.. this is definitely a page turner, you never want to put it down, I stayed up all night to finish it one night. I loved every second of I was reading it. I love everything by Brenda/Erica.

Love IT! Love IT!

I can’t wait for the next book. Please don’t let it be a year for the next release. I can’t wait that long. I have a feeling who saber is to Brie and I hope I’m right. Great series of books. the Vampire Awakening Series was awesome but this is proving to be even better. It great when you have read the past books in both series; as it helps to know the key players. I really hope a cure is found for Elise and Asher fate is not what it is. Great book keep them coming, your biggest fan since awakening.

If there's one thing I love, it's a book that's been written by Brenda K. Davies. I've been reading her work for ten years now and they get better each time. I LOVED reading Brie and Ashers story's, it was intense, mysterious and full of angst. It truly was written wonderfully and sexy. However OH MY GOSH, that CLIFFHANGER. I seriously cannot wait for Bound By Blood to find out what happens next, the excitement and impatience is real. I loved this book as well as every single other book she's written. I 100% recommend reading Bound By Fate.

Asher & Brie like others had a tough beginning. Asher spent so much time looking for Brie. Asher is always so sweet and fierce when it comes to protecting the innocence, loved ones and friends. I am never disappointed with the alliance series. Brenda keeps bringing on your edge stories that I can’t get enough of. I can’t wait to read the next book. If you haven’t started this series I highly recommend you start. You will NOT be disappointed.

Another great book in this series. Not as many plot twists but the storyline flowed and didn't need them......until the last chapter . Omg what a cliffhanger to leave the series on. I can't wait for the next book , to discover if I've guessed rightly who it's about. A proper wow moment. This was such a great read! The characters are truly amazing, so well developed that I easily fell into their stories. I felt with them, which is an emotional connection I love in a book. The plot was completely engrossing, too. There was so much suspense and anticipation, so much intrigue. Those elements wove together with an emotional story and created something I just couldn’t put down. It was absolutely a perfect blend of suspense, of romance, and of adventure. A great read!

Hunter and Brie stoey provides to be very interesring to say in thw least. Her visions lead her to the stones and to Hunter whether he likes it or not. Ahe teies to keep her distance, but her lady bits keeps driving her towards him.
She does not trust easily, and Hunter is willing to fall on his sword to protect her in more ways than one.
Getting one step closer to figuring out how to rid themselves of the dwmon infestation.
