I knew attempting to cook something from scratch was a bad idea. All I wanted was to impress my friends with some homemade deviled eggs. Now there’s a seven-foot-tall creature of Hell in my kitchen who’s saying I’m a powerful witch and that I summoned him. He’s more than happy to… ahem… devil my eggs, if that’s my wish and command.
No. Not a witch, and I definitely don’t want a horned and hooved demon, or his barbed tail anywhere near my eggs. Naberius is sin itself, and if I don’t banish him quick, I’m afraid he might corrupt me.
One problem, though. I have no idea how I summoned him in the first place. It turns out my grandma’s recipe book is actually filled with spells, and since no one told me I’m a witch, I can’t read them. Time to find out what really happened to the women in my family and why they kept me in the dark. It might take a trip to Hell and a contract signed with Naberius, but I’ll get to the bottom of it.
I know what you’re thinking… Is it smart to sign a contract with a demon? No, it’s not. But hear me out…
Cara Wylde loves to write about strong, feisty women and their hot Alphas who will do anything to make them happy. Her books are filled with romance and just a dash of mystery, suspense, and that eerie atmosphere she fell in love with reading too many gothic novels. With a master's degree in Comparative Literature, she can't help but play with tropes and themes from various genres, trying to come up with fresh perspectives on the paranormal characters her readers love so much. Vampires, shape-shifters, demons, witches... Cara will always make sure they get their own twists.
When she's not writing, Cara is reading, planning her next story, or daydreaming. Her idea of pure heaven is a day filled with nothing but her laptop, a huge coffee pot, relaxing music, and a new, exciting project.
Another grandma's cook book. Picked for the cover, then went pack to read the first one and went onto this one. The cooking novelty wore off after the first book. I liked the paintings, not so much the fake friend. The journey to hell and Ellie's tantrums were a little annoying. I liked that everyone had a HEA and the neat wrap up. Next one sounds good.

I loved this book! Such a unique story premise! It was fun and turned into quite the adventure. I loved Naberius and Ellie. They were such great characters and I loved their dynamic and chemistry. This story caught my attention from the start and I couldn't put it down. I can't wait until the next book! Excellent! I recommend picking this one up. 5 stars.
This is another fun and funny read! The characters were fab, had great chemistry and I loved all the twists that kept things hopping. Highly entertaining, this was a one-sit read for me.
Ellie is an up and coming artist who has just moved into a new apartment. Knowing her friends are coming over for a housewarming party, she wants to have a special treat for them. She pulls out the cookbook she had recently been given that belonged to her maternal grandmother hoping to find something easy. Spotting a recipe for deviled eggs for which she had all the ingredients, she starts cooking. Just as she is putting the finishing touches on the eggs, a cloud of smoke and black feathers appear. It quickly disappears leaving behind the Marquess of Hell, Naberius. He demands that she tell him what she summoned him for. Clueless, Ellie explains what happened and Naberius demands that she reverse her summons. Ellie has no clue how to send him back and no idea that she is a witch.
Naberius is the Marquesse of Hell who is known for his wisdom and scholarship. He was often summoned in the past by powerful witches. When Ellie summons him, he is annoyed and intrigued. He can't believe that she has no clue that she was a witch just like her mother and grandmother. Ellie's naivety would be very easy to exploit but he is feeling reluctance to do so. Naberius has become the one being who has never lied to Ellie. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Ellie is an artist. She's just moved into her own place and while her ladt few jobs have paid the bills she's not over inspired about her work. Still money to live and eat is good. Eating most especially as she has her friends coming over for a house warming and get together shortly and she's not really got much in! Thankfully she's got her grandmother's old recipe books and she has just about enough ingredients for one of the options, Devilled Eggs. Thing is by the time she's finishe with them the Devil seems to be separate from the eggs, an entirelt separate entity in fact! Naberius is not impressed. Right in the middle of his rhetoric he is summoned to the human world by a powerful witch. Except this witch is all wrong. Innocence, naivety and kindess radiate from her and it's haveing a very strange effect on him. Very strange indeed. She has a proposition for him and he has a scam in exchange. Who is going to win? I have to say that I am loving this series and I cannot wait for the next one. Humour, action and steam. Perfect combination.
Ellie isn't much of a cook, but she wants to do something nice for her friends. Her grandmother's recipe for deviled eggs looks simple enough, and she has all of the ingredients. Next thing she knows, she's facing a very unhappy, very large demon who calls himself Naberius Marquess of Hell, and he makes it very clear that he doesn't appreciate being summoned by any witch. He expects her to state her desires, and then banish him. Unfortunately, Ellie had no idea she was a witch or how she managed to summon a demon. She'll just have to sign his contract and go to hell to find out how to send him back. So funny! The characters are hysterical and in Ellie's case a little naive, too. Sexy read with unexpected twists in the plot and a happily ever after. Fantastic book.

Ellie's a painter who just want to fix some deviled eggs for a get together with friends, but in doing so she manages to cook up Naberius, a dark demon complete with horns, hooves, and a tail. He's not too thrilled to have been pulled from his duties in hell by Ellie. Naberius wants nothing more than to get back to hell and after tempting Ellie, he gets his desire with her in tow. The more time they're around one another, the more their feelings grow. But are their feelings true, or is it just a result of being bound? The story is a short novella that offers a fun quick read with some humor and a sexy demon. And as a plus, there's a good storyline and not just endless hot and steamy action, though that's there too!
So, this book starts out a little rough. There were a few things that just weren't realistic. (Nobody would ever make deviled eggs 2 hours before an event. They would still be HOT, and taste like crap. Also, I have serious qualms with the ingredients in this recipe.) LOL All of that aside, once the book hit its' stride, it was fantastic. I enjoy a good grovel, and she was NOT a doormat, it was refreshing! I did find it odd that after all of that "questing" -- once the resolution was achieved, there wasn't even meeting of the minds about how it all worked out (I'm being vague for spoiler reasons). Seemed...less cathartic than it could have been. I enjoyed the book way more than I thought I would. It had much more story than I was expecting!
This was a quick and enjoyable read and the characters where so good together that I laughed out loud in so many moments that it just made it so much more fun to read. Ellie is a painter and is having a get together with some friends and wants to make deviled eggs and so she uses her grandmother’s recipe book and right before her eyes there is a 7 foot tall sexy demon standing in the kitchen wondering why a powerful hot looking witch has summoned him. They have to work together to get him back to where he belongs but neither of them expected to fall foe each other. There is so much more to this book there is humor, fun, plenty of steam and this is a must read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Ellie is a painter. Her mother disappeared 20 years ago when her grandmother died. She has her grandmother’s recipe book. Her girlfriends are coming over. She decides to use her grandmother’s recipe for deviled eggs. Suddenly there is a seven foot tall, pure black, tailed, horned and hooved demon in her kitchen. She had summon Naberius, Marque of Hell. He called her a witch. She has no clue what he is talking about. So how could she send him back to Hell. It is a good story about finding out family secrets. Naberius and Ellie are attracted to each other. Has a HEA. . I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was a fabulous PNR! While i loved Chicken Soup Gone to Hell, this one had more of a story to it. Once again, a book of secrets hidden as a cookbook is unknowingly is used to accidentally summon a demon. And this time, Ellie who had no idea that she was a witch, has no idea how to send him back. So when she discovers the mother who has been missing for 20 years may actually be in hell, she signs a contract with the demon to go find her.... except she didn't know she was signing away her freedom and soul.
I loved this book, the characters, and the plot line!! Great quick read!!
Loved the storyline. Ellie has her great grandmothers receipt book and decided to make Deviled Eggs and when she put the cinnamon on top she summonsed a demon. He was gorgeous and Neberius his name who was the demon of greed. He wanted Ellie and made her a contract to sign as his Hellwitch. She was a very naïve witch and she didn't read the fine print. It was his job to tempt her and keep her for himself. There is lots of fun, adventure, sexy demon and plenty of humor and love. I rooted for Ellie and the Demon to have a HEA. Read and find out if they do! Highly recommend. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Deviled Eggs with a Sprinkle of Sin, book two in the Of Food and Other Demons series by author Cara Wylde was a great read!!. Ellie's a witch and an artist, trying to fix some deviled eggs for a get together with friends, but in doing so she accidentally summons up a dark demon. Naberius the demon is not happy to have been pulled from Hell. In sending him back, she gets sent to Hell as well. This book is fast paced, funny, sizzling, steamy and more. Three books so far in this series and all of them are available to be read for free with your Kindle Unlimited subscription.
I received an ARC from Booksprout and this is my honest review.
This book was actually more developed and in-depth than I had expected. It had plenty of the funny bits that I expected, but the story was so much more. There was growth and discovery and heart. Plus plenty of heat. But overall there was something very sweet about these two together.
Naberius and Ellie are good characters. It felt like both are out of their comfort zones, though for different reasons. And they had quite a trip through Ellie's complicated family history.

Do you want your eggs deviled? Ellie is an artist, not a cook, but she can put the ingredients together in a basic recipe, and that's how she ends up summoning Naberius. Her cookbook offers no help in banishing the demon although she does find out about aphrodisiac desserts. Her mother went missing years ago, and Ellie goes on a roadtrip through Hell with Naberius to find her. This was an entertaining story and I liked the strong emphasis on consent, even though he can get people to sign away their souls to serve him for all eternity.
Pushover Ellie only wants to make deviled eggs from a recipe in her grandmother's old book. When she accidentally summons Naberius The Marquess of Hell instead. Now bound to her and demanding to be banished back to hell, she has a lot more on her plate than she bargained for! Add in family secrets, one hellish rescue and a deal thrown in and things get hella complicated. Read this for a steamy story with a guarenteed HEA.

Deviled Eggs with a Sprinkle of Sin is book two in the series Of Food and Other Demons by author Cara Wylde. This is a quirky tale of a demon with a twisted soul and a very naive witch. A signed contract, a journey through Hell, and a Hellwitch. What’s a girl to do, but believe in forgiveness. A witty read that will have you chuckling and rooting for the Demon. Enjoy!!

Ellie has moved to a new place so she’s having a housewarming party but she didn’t have much food in her pantry so she decided to use her grandmothers recipe book to make deviled eggs, once she mixed the ingredients blue smoke rose up and in its place was a thing he was black skinned with horns, hooves and a tail he called Ellie a witch and he introduced himself as Naberius the Marquess of hell. Wow what an amazing story I loved it and the characters and I highly recommend this book.
Ellie, the female human lead, just meant to make a snack for her visiting friends. Instead, she accidentally conjures Naberius, the male demon lead…
This story is dual POV, well written, and amusing. But it only has a Happy For Now, with no real suggestion of how to get to a Happily Ever After and I really like those!

A devilishly descriptive tale of a clueless witch and her dealings with one of Hell’s highest demons. A fast flowing epic dive into the circles of Hell with pure intentions and a desire to right unfair judgment. Ellie has much to learn about her heritage and power and Naberius, as powerful and all-knowing as he is, learns something too. Steamy, a hint of sweet but full of powerful imagery. Thr chemistry between Ellie and Naberiuos is off the charts. Ellie was able to tame the devilish beast with her honest innocence. Naberious found out he felt guilt when he tricked Ellie, he couldn't get away from his deception until he made things right with Ellie. Even for odd couples, love finds it way for them to happy together. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW of Deviled Eggs with a Sprinkle of Sin, the second book in the Of Food and Other Demons series by Cara Wylde. This is a quick read that offers a fun story of a witch, the demon she inadvertently summons and a trip through Hell. I love Cara Wylde stories! Sexy, funny, great characters and a storyline you can sink your teeth into!

When grandma's deviled egg recipe summons a seven foot creature from hell things for Ellie take a crazy she's a witch turn. This is an entertaining read with a witch who didn't know she was a witch, a demon from hell, and a signed contract. The writing is well done, the characters are interesting and quirky, and the story is filled with humor, steam, and a great ending. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
I really, really liked this book. Until the last like 3 chapters where it just kinda kept getting worse... It was way less horny than book one but I didn't mind as this one was more focused on action. But even when it got horny it wasn't exactly good? It was questionable and not even because she was fucking a demon, that's reasonable. I would too if he looked like that. I'm just kinda disappointed in this one and it kinda put me off wanting to read book 3...
Lots of twists and turns as Ellie finds out her mother's secret - and meets Naberius. Will she be able to save her Mother - and her grandmother's soul - without being condemned to be a hell witch for the rest of eternity? Will Naberius keep his promises? Loved it!. A Witch who doesn’t know she is a Witch serves up more than deviled eggs from grandma’s recipe book when Ellie conjures up Naberius, Marquess of Hell. Cue lots of laughs and fun from this enjoyable devilishly romantic, expertly written, wonderful Paranormal story!

I enjoyed reading this book, it has an entertaining storyline. An accidental summoning of a demon by an witch (who doesn't know she's a witch). The interaction between them is great. I can't wait for more from this author. I received this book as a Free ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
After thoroughly enjoying the first book in the series, I was pleasantly surprised there was another. It was definitely interesting and there was a good splash of humor to round out the journey. The power dynamic between the characters was well written. The world building was edgy and dark. A fun read overall. Reviewed by Who She Reads
This story features an artist urged accidental witch and a devil with a penchant for words. I loved the rollercoaster ride Ellie finds herself on - her bravery and love was naturally admirable, but her ability to forgive and love Nabe was just wonderful. Always entertaining and a truly wonderful read.
Deviled Eggs with a Sprinkle of Sin is book 2 in the series of Food and Other Demons by Cara Wylde. This is an entertaining read with Ellie cooking from scratch but ends up with the seven-foot creature Naberius who thinks she is a witch. This has humour, steam and a HEA.
