Dutch Connection

Rate this book
The jeans-wearing billionaire is down and out in Paris! In H, Largo is giving a cocktail party to launch his foundation for war orphans when a waiter brings out a colleague's severed head on a tray. He has been murdered by drug traffickers Largo is after. In a matter of hours, the billionaire's life is turned upside down. In Dutch Connection, two policemen are shot down as they arrest Largo, and he is charged with the murders. On top of that, he's accused of being part of the international heroin trade. Largo flees to Paris and ends up in the homeless community, with little hope of escaping the dire fate that awaits a lifetime jail sentence.

__________

This part includes H (Vol. 5) and Dutch Connection (Vol. 6) . "H" stands for Heroin as Largo Winch will be framed for trafficking drugs and murder. A new villain nicknamed Hades is introduced and guys from the DEA are involved. Action starts right away with a head served on a silver platter in a charity party where we see Largo "the philanthropic". LW didn't lose his flirting techniques with beautiful women, neither him nor his bestie Simon who gets his fair share of adventure. The series continues in a well-built plot as you can make connections to the previous volumes and everything falls into place.
