Nathan has never really fit in with the crowd. Even though he wants to be one of the guys, he's afraid to open up to people who might hurt him. Again. He doesn't trust many people, but he trusted Sean and Seth when they suggested he come with them to a photoshoot that paid too much money to be legit. After being chained up like a dog and almost raped, he's having trouble coping with the nightmares that have come back to haunt him. He didn't have any choices when he was a kid, but now, he can face his demons and put them to rest for good. As long as the demon doesn't catch him first.
Dodge has been checking in on the old lady across the street while she fights cancer. Her oldest son comes by but seems pissed off by the inconvenience more than concerned about his mom. When the woman's younger son shows up after disappearing four years ago, Dodge feels a protective instinct over the omega. He wants to help the man cope with his mother's illness but the primal urges inside him are getting in the way.
A tragedy brings them together and another almost tears them apart. But the connection they feel can't be broken.
Quick Alpha and Omega read. Crazy sick brother, dying mother and finding the one that makes your heart soar. Dodge and Nathan completed each other even though it was "Insta love".
I’m pretty confident that I’ll be satisfied with almost anything Aria Grace writes. I loved Nathan and Dodge. Although they never said they were fated mates it didn’t take long for them to fall in love. Nathan’s brother brings some excitement and of course love prevails.
To my ratings (thanks to amazon I had to change it again and 'upgrade' it a little bit.):
5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow- Away-book like 'Liberty' from Seth Kann ing, 'Save that he kids' series from EM Leya or 'Jesse's Smile' from Angelique Jurd), it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey books) it's like an A
3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in hospitals). I can recommend them definitively! It's like an B+
3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader, but not really an often reread book
2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time- reader (i wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok) It's like a C-, D
1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolut NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole line, dismissed, repeat the class
Nathan a omega at Omega house. Nathan leaves to confront his abuser, his brother. Only to find out his mother has cancer and is still in denial about what Nathan told her years earlier and has repeated again that his brother was abusing him sexually. Dodge is the Alpha who realises that he needs to be present to keep Nathan's brother from having the chance to hurt Nathan again. Enjoyable read. Great addition to the Omega House series.
I felt my heart crack while reading this. Poor Nathan having an ahole brother and a mother in denial while her son is being abused. Even in story form this was very moving and I fell in love with Dodge with his protective caring and quiet take charge attitude. I love this series.
I read and voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
Review of Chasing Home/Omega MPreg (Omega House Book 6)
Will Nathan be able to face the demons of his past? Will Dodge help Nathan overcome his nightmares? The story is well-written and the characters are believable. The book can be read in less than 2 hours. If you love MPreg stories you will love this book.
Another good story in this series. Dodge was exactly what Nathan needed, as he confronted his traumatic childhood. It's a short, sweet Alpha and Omega romance.
