Caught you on the Bus 🚌
This was spicier than a jalapeño on a porch in July. This book made me laugh and swoon. Honestly,it was the best of both worlds and as always you guys know I highlighted super aggressively. Jenna rose 🌹 I wish I found you sooner. What a lovely read!!
So the top review is strictly for Amazon because y’all know they have the mega red flags 🚩!!!
But let’s get to the nitty gritty!! This book had so many layers of shenanigans I thought it was a tiered cake 🍰!!
Mari has had the day from hell. Harassed left and right for being a hot and sexy mama everywhere she goes!! At this point she can’t wait to get home but you know it can’t be that easy. We need lots of spicy drama. In the forms of an assault turned termination, an assault on the local bus ride home and a brooding man that watches on the bus 🚎!! Should Mari be afraid? Most likely !! Is she ? Of course not !!
The reason Mari isn’t afraid is because the peeping Tom in question is sexier than sin and could possibly be her ticket to a better life. As always the kink is phenomenal. The comedy is electric and the writing knocks my freaking socks 🧦 off !! I’m serious I started reading this with socks and ugg slippers I am now barefoot 🦶 on the floor !!
With that being said because I love you guys I have provided some crazy quotes !!

DNF. did not like. it felt kinda gross. he kisses her after she was just harrassed and heard about her being harrassed earlier that day. she's 18 and he's 32, i dont age gaps but not when they're this young and clearly vulnerable

So many thoughts.
1. He is well aware that she’s barely even an adult. (ewww dude). Him describing her boobs as “plump, perky, teenage tits” is so not doing it for me. Like it’s clear that you’re turned on bc she’s a teenager, like there’s no other reason.
2. He got mad bc she shaves and this made him think that she wasn’t a virgin, like he gets mad and tells her that she’s lying and when he “realizes” that’s she being honest he apologizes and says he doesn’t know what came over him. (once again ew)
3. Mari is a dumb bitch. The red flags are there girl. You cannot be this dumb and ignore the creepy shit he says also, like why does she call him daddy? He never told her to call him that so how does she know that’s she’s into that if she’s a virgin and one can assume that she’s never seen porn bc she’s never had an orgasm.
4. He does not give a fuck if she’s on birth control and comes in side her, like when did she tell u it was okay ???? Don’t even get me started on her wanting to be a mother after they talk for the first time. A day hasn’t even passed and she just knows that she wants to give birth to his child??
5. He moves her in and this stupid girl is like… okay :)
5. Her old boss’ wife kidnaps her and wants to make her disappear? Ma’am you don’t have to do all that.
6. He proposes after he kills two people and then makes a joke about the woman looking like a “real houswives” looking woman.
This all happens in 24 hours btw.
This book was very rushed and just a no. I wanted to stop reading like three different times but good thing I didn’t, the real houswives joke really got me (this is me being sarcastic. it wasn’t funny like sir u just killed two people).

*spoilers* Mari sees the handsome stranger every morning in the bus. Since the first day she met him he makes her feel like no other man ever did, without talking. Every day she wishes for him to come to her and talk to her, it does not matter that he is older. Mari is alone, fending for herself since being 16 and now she is 18 and works as a maid in the household of the Baxter family, a very rich and entitled family. Mr Baxter is in his fifities and creepy, one day he sexually assaults Mari and when his wife comes in blames it on Mari, who is immediately toosed out on the streets. She barely catches her bus where she goes in the back and starts to cry and another creepy man comes on to her. Then it finally happens, her mysterious stranger defends her and telling the creep that she is his woman. Then we can read the view of Cane and what he thinks about his angel and how he was hurt in the past. He never felt this possessive and protective over a girl before. There are stong daddy vibes and they are perfect for each other. Then somebody comes after Mari...
This book is an enticing mix between romance and steamy with a hint of kink. It is over the top, somehting I enjoy to indulge in a ficitonal story. The way he claims her and she gives completely over to him and he takes care of her. The writing style and characters roped me in. I want to read more.

Meeting in a way that isn’t expected …I mean we take the bus from point A to Point B never expecting to meet someone that will change our life well that is the beginning of something amazing with our two hotter than hot characters . Cane sexy as all get out mystery man on the bus every day, watching and waiting for her to get on the bus. Mari noticed him the moment she stepped on the bus, he was always there watching, protecting, and making sure she arrived at her destination. She has been on her own dealing with life as best she can when the man, she cleans his home tries to assault her.... well technically he did kind of assault her, but his wife caught him before it could get any worse and fired her because of his indiscretions. Now on her way home some jerk wants to try and have his way with her that isn’t happening on Cane’s watch. Stepping in to save her from the jerk on the bus but where will it all lead, he has watched, protected her from afar will he take the time to get to know her, will her boss get what’s coming to him, and will this path lead them to something more than just watching each other on the bus?

I really liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable for the most part. The characters were interesting and likable with a couple of exceptions. Harold and Janice Baxter were selfish jerks that didn't care who they hurt or how much damage they caused. Janice really needed to wake up to the truth about her husband but she didn't want to. Mari had been crushing on a man that rode the bus with her but so far they hadn't talked. After Mari had a really bad day, he approached her, much to her delight. Cane had been riding the bus with Mari for a while but he had tried to not approach her. Their dynamic was set pretty quickly. The relationship between them was over the top and the reactions that they had to each other were also over the top. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

Another good one! I liked how their bus meetings played out until one day he came to her rescue, not once on the bus, but twice after they get off.
I liked how quickly their relationship developed and how close they were.
The drama at the beginning was minor but then it comes back into play near the end which gave the hero chance to save the day once again, not that the heroine was weak but it was that he wanted to protect her.
The romance was fast paced and very satisfying and I liked the surprise of finding out that he wasn't just your average bus passenger, it moved the story on and allowed it go in a good direction.
I loved each of their interactions, especially their hot ones but also their soft ones too, like the beach picnic table scene and the dinner scene as it made them seem more realistic and relatable.
I liked their story ending too, giving you a glimpse into their happy ending and see where they go and what happens to their lives.

This book is a lie, I’ve rode the bus for years and never found a rich handsome man that wants me to be his princess and call him daddy.
Very cute quick read, good to spice level, and characters that are pleasing. 🌹 Jenna Rose 🌹 writes the perfect type of book to help you overcome dark, bully, tortured, devastating reads that you want to recover from. She helps clean the readers pallet and entertains us while doing it. That’s not to say you couldn’t exist on all my Jenna Rose books, because they are very entertaining and enjoyable. But if you’ve just been destroyed by a 4 book series and don’t know what to read next time I pick up any Jenna rose book, and enjoy falling in love again.

This is the story of Mari and Cane. This story is super hot. They have been commuting in the same bus but never talk to each other. He is a business man and she is dressed as a maid. He look at her from the distance but never approached her because he did not want to scare her. Once night she enter to the bus completely over whelmed and in tears. He wanted to know more but them another man approached her and began to bother her. This is the time to Cane go and defend his damsel in distress and claim her as his. I loved this book, great characters and develop of the plot. Highly recommended.

I thought that this was a great book. Mari and Cane were fantastic. The connection and chemistry between these two was scorching hott! Cane and Mari have been circling around each other on their daily trips on the bus, but now Cane is forced to act to protect his woman. I thought that these two were perfect for each other and I loved the little bit of drama and suspense there towards the end. I really enjoyed this book and I would recommend it and Ms. Jenna as a great author.

I thought this fast-paced novella was a bit sweet but a bit dark. Mari has had a crush on the man she sees on the bus everyday. Cane has a crush on Mari hence why he rides the bus every day. When Cane rescues Mari, sparks fly and the rest is history until there is an evil plot that they need to overcome to get to their HEA. I really liked Mari and Cane, and it was an entertaining read.

Came saw Mari on the bus one day, he loved and wanted her immediately. After weeks of watching her everyday he made his move when she got on one evening upset. He rescued her from a threat and took her home. Their relationship was hot and steamy. Their love so strong. There was some danger and suspense but Cane was never going to let Mari go or let anyone hurt her! The HEA was amazing

I love this story! It was so good and Inge and unexpected. Mari is trying to make ends meet. She is sweet, beautiful and young. She sees him on the bus every day. I love how she found her purpose in life. Cane is an amazing man! He is gentle, smart,and handsome. He is really unexpected. Go on their journey to their happy ever after. Jenna did amazing work on this story. I wonder how she comes up with these stories. Amazing work again Jenna Rose!

A very short read, but an entertaining one. Mari is a maid, just scraping by, when she is fired from her job after a man tries to seduce her. She feels trapped. Rescued by the man she fantasizes over, she is led to a new life.
If you have about a half hour to an hour to spend, you might like to try this book.

The story was amazing. Full of romance, chemistry, suspense and full of turns that I couldnt put this story down till the end. You are going to love it as much as I did. You are going to love Cane and Mari and how these build that chemistry to something amazing.

Started off super hot. Stranger watching her every time she rides the bus. Ends up in the back of the bus having an orgasm. Then it just went mediocre. I like the dark, silent, brooding stranger. It just didn't last long enough until there were all the happy giggles. I hate giggles. Overall it still fits the bill for smut.
