Mated and Claimed

Her Faerie King

Rate this book
She is going to be mine, even if it starts a war.

This night of the summer solstice doesn’t go to plan.
Every year, fae gather in the forest to mate for one night only.
When the hunt starts, I’m drawn away from my people.
Drawn to one delicate, human female.
Drawn to my one true mate.

I try to fight it, but I can’t resist the pull.
Our souls are tethered together with a deep and powerful mating bond.
Breaking it could kill us both, but accepting it could start a war.

As king, I’m under pressure to produce an heir.
My people won’t take kindly to a half-fae prince.
They will try to fight this, but there’s no denying the truth.

Lucy will be my queen, and anyone who tries to stop me will regret it.

Her Faerie King is the first book in the Royally Mated Series by Bianca Cole. This book is a safe story with no cliffhangers and a swoon worthy happily ever after ending. This story has hot scenes and bad language, so if those kind of books offend you, you won't like this one. It features a dreamy, hot over the top possessive Fae king.

Fantastic story.
Wow! This book had me hooked from the start & ended up reading it in one go as I didn't want to put it down. Not that he was too bothered but Flynn had just never found his mate until the night of the solitice his senses pulled him towards the human town which only spelled trouble as humans were enemies to faes but he could stop & when he saw her through the window of her house he kept going. Lucy had seen him aswell & had heard rumours of the faes being dangerous so refused to open the door but Flynn broken the door down. Although she should have been afraid she was drawn to him & they gave into the sexilual chemistry when they kissed & he played with her but then he had a feeling they were being watched & left but told her they would meet again. Lucy couldn't believe what had happened then the next day she had a serious pain in her heart she'd never felt before so her 'friend' took her to the doctors who was worried about her condition & gave her some pain medication telling her to rest. He was in pain aswell so have to go see her but when they were together both their pain disappeared & they mated however they woke to her house on fire & he knew that Midir the enemy were responsible & he knew he had to get Lucy out of there he ran but they were catching up as he was carrying Lucy he wasn't as fast so he used his magic to hide her just after he was caught & Midir used his own magic to find Lucy & took off with her. Flynn ran back to the Palace to find his brother Brin for help, they found it was his advisor who told Midir about Lucy so Flynn went to find her there was a fight between them & he quickly got Lucy & ran back to the castle when they git there he collapsed from his injuries but Brin healed him & took him to his room but Lucy didn't want to stay in the over the top decorated room so Brin took her to another smaller guest room. When Flynn woke up ge went to see her but although she was glad he was OK & he was her mate she was livid as she was told by Midir that he is the King & not from him but he agreed there would be no more secrets & they became one again but a few days later he held another secret from her that they were to be married the next day. Brin said they had to bring it forward to today as Midir had found out about it so when he told Lucy she wasn't happy but agreed to it but as they were about to marry Midir attacked & took her. Brin told him he had to explain to his people that he is Mated with a human & tell them about Midir his army & people stood behind him to attack Midir & get Lucy back. Lucy escaped from Midir but didn't know how she did it & ran to find Flynn she found him with Midir fighting Flynn told her to go but something stopped her as Midir attacked & was killing Flynn she was angry & as it got worse a green glow came from her she lifted her arms & Midir flew into the air then was dead when he landed. She turned to Flynn who was dying & she became angry but she would not give up on her mate who she loved as I much as she touched him the green glow came again & Flynn's blood went back into his body he was alive she was week but could walk Brin took them back to the castle using magic to carry Flynn's body, when they got there she collapsed. As Flynn came round they told him what had happened but he couldn't believe it, this has proved they were destined to be together & when the people found out after Flynn had spoke to them how she was as strong as any Fae woman &, proved her use of magic they accepted her as their queen. This meant that your mate could be any species not just Fae it could be Shifter, witch, human & they were to find their mate who was out there for everybody. I couldn't help smiling as I finished reading this book.

This started out as a solid 4 star book for me. I was loving the dominance of Flynn and the dynamic of his relationship with Lucy. But after the enemy makes his move, the story just sort of became 'meh' for me. This was the part where things were supposed to get exciting, but they never really did. I think it was probably because I got too annoyed with Lucy's new abilities and the shift of her technical position in the relationship that came with them. I don't know. It just lost something to me at some point I guess.

Flynn is the king of the Faeries and he has tired of many things he is forced to participate in. One being the solstice party that night. But when I say party, I really mean the guys chase down the girls and there's a ton of sex going on everywhere. Good times. Flynn goes along with it because it's his duty and his people expect an heir from him. This night, though, everything changes for him. Catching a scent that he cannot ignore, Flynn races towards it. When he finds the source, he is elated. But also doomed. His fated mate is a human. A HUGE no no.

Lucy was pretty much just a normal girl. One who has been alone since her father died and desperately wants out of the small town she's living in. She knows the rumors of the Faeries being in the forest near their town, but she never expected one to come crashing into her house wanting to claim her. Worse, she never could have anticipated her reaction to one crashing into her house and wanting to claim her.

This bond between the two of them was interesting in a way. When they get too far apart, they both start feeling the effects. But because Lucy is human, she suffers way more. And they also can't communicate telepathically. Which would have come in real handy when Flynn is found out and Lucy is taken from him while he was trying to get her back to his castle.

See, Flynn's enemy is trying to overthrow the monarchy. He's already killed both of Flynn's parents and now he's after Flynn. Lucy is the perfect pawn because how can the people accept their king mating a human let alone his heirs being half breeds. But when Lucy tries to defend herself, everyone is shocked at what she can do. Showing that maybe Flynn is right. Maybe mixing with the humans instead of looking down on them will in fact strengthen their people.

The epilogue was...odd. I mean. It was nice to see what their kids are like and how they have accomplished things. But I truly don't understand why it took that many years for them to have their marriage ceremony. And on top of that we're told of all these other people there from all the other clans like it's supposed to be completely natural.

As for the upcoming books, I think I'd like to check them out. I do love me a dominate male and Flynn had that going for him, so I'm hoping the others will too.

Flynn is the Faerie King and is supposed to be running after a woman to have his heir however he runs in the opposite direction. He feels something pulling him towards the humans and he goes with it. Lucy gets told my her neighbor that she better get in because of what is happening in the woods with the fairies. However nothing could've prepared her for one of them knocking her door down to get to her. Flynn wasn't letting anything keep him from getting to his mate. Before they could finish their mating Flynn had to leave. Lucy was in pain and sick so much the next day a neighbor took her to a doctor. When Flynn got a chance he went back for Lucy however before he could get her she was taken by the person that had killed his parents. Will he be able to get her back safely? Will his people accept her?

This is an amazing story that will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Flynn was the king of the Fae people and they were having their summer Soltice mating to try to have more children so they don’t die out. But when the women were told to run the men chased them and acted with them. It Flynn felt a pull in a different direction and led him to Lucy which was a human and she was his soulmate. He was kidnapped by the person that killed his parents and needed to kill her, then Flynn would die too. Flynn found her through the mating bond and then on their wedding day she was kidnapped again. Flynn brought the army to him him get her back but she had been locked in a cell, raised her hands and green magic that she got from mating with Flynn, she blasted the door and got out. Then they were all fighting and the rebel was going to kill her she blasted him and killed him. Flynn and Lucy stayed together and were stronger for it. And others also got their happy ending.

>Book Review – Her Faerie King
>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 1st in the Royally Mated series and ends in an HEA. In this reality, humans know about the existence of other paranormal creatures, but stay clear of them. Flynn is a fae king and discovers that human, Lucy is his mate. Mating with a human is a huge no-no, especially for a fae king, but Flynn cannot go against fate. The story had a lot of erotic scenes with very little plot in between.
>The story missed the boat on using jealousy to show the depth of feeling between Flynn and Lucy. Lucy had the attention of a creepy neighbor and a friend that was never brought to the attention of Flynn. Flynn had searched for years, sleeping with tons of other fae, in order to find his mate. This fact wasn’t made much of in the story.
>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book set 4 stars. The story’s conflict was resolved easily and the HEA was lost in all of the eroticism.

Flynn is the Faerie King, his people expect a heir. Unfortunately when Flynn finds his soul mate Lucy she turns out to be human. That's crossing lines his people won't accept but Flynn is decided and Lucy will be his Queen.

Flynn comes across as a hot alpha male who knows what he wants and isn't afraid of perusing it. He will overcome obstacles and barriers he can't go around he'll just smash down.Lucy has her own strength and proves that humans are not an inferior race. The connection they share is intense and steamy. There is a good balance between the the lovers story and that of the Fae people.

As book 1 in a new series I think it does a great job drawing readers in so that we eagerly await book 2.

This was a wonderful read that left me very eager to read more books in this PNR series. In this book the fated mates angle gets some added kick from the addition of a dollop of forbidden romance. I must say I really enjoyed this combination. I thought it helped to create a very intense, deeply emotional read, with characters you were invested in and A HEA you were actively rooting for. I adored Flynn and Lucy, their chemistry and how well they fit as a couple. This Fae/Human pairing causes lots of drama, emotional turmoil and adversity for the couple to overcome. I felt this book was simply quite sweet & swoony. Flynn was totally alpha and fierce in his determination to have Lucy as his queen and Lucy was strong and more than woman enough to stand by his side as he ruled. Add in some steamy goodness and you have a delightful read! Of my own accord I am posting a sincere review.

I haven't read many fae books before. I have read books where fae are mentioned. This makes my second full fae book I have read.it was an interesting read. I was surprised at some things that I had read and some things were the same as others. Two being the same were the summer solstice and the being that fae should only marry fae. That is where the similarities end. This book, the mating of a non fae and a fae king could start a war. In this book, Lucy is human and is supposed to be mated to a faerie king, Flynn. Flynn has to decide if taking Lucy as a mate, worth starting a war. Good story and it flows smoothly. Also this is the start of a new series.

Flynn is is the Fae King and on the night of the summer solstice he discovers his mate. But there is a problem... she is human. The fae believe that humans are not worth much and would look down on her as queen and even go against him and the crown but he is determined to keep his mate. Their relationship is strong and intense from the beginning.
This was a quick enjoyable read and there is plenty of action from the main two characters from the beginning. The scenes between them are hot and intense. The author has created strong characters and this book will leave you wanting to read the next book in the series

This well-written, 1st book in a new series called Royally Mated Series has a great story about Flynn, the Fae King and him finding his mate in Lucy who is a human female, during the Summer Solstice. This is forbidden in the Fae world and the story tells how they try to have their mating accepted and all they troubles they face. These characters are well-crafted and likable and the story has action, adventure, twists/turns, romance, and a HEA but a lot happens to them first. This is a well developed and entertaining story that is worth read.

I loved Lucy’s and Flynn’s story, Flynn is the Fae King it’s the night of the solstice where the women run and the men chase them to mate with them but Flynn is drawn away from his own kind towards a human female Lucy, Flynn knows that she is his mate and it causes so much drama and danger and although Flynn doesn’t care that Lucy is human she is his queen and damn anyone who gets in his way. Loved this story it’s a fantastic read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

An okay time 👍

I definitely read this series out of order, but I don't think that took away from the series at all. I like the plot in these books, and I wish it had gotten a little more in-depth. But it's a quick read with around 200 or so pages for each book - so time constraints, what can ya do? My only major complaint is that the smexy times are very repetitive and don't change much between books. It's kind of copy and paste besides a few changes depending on what they are - vampire, dragon, etc.

This is the first book in a new series and it is a great story about Flynn, the fae king and him finding his mate in Lucy who is a human female, during the summer solstice. Such a match is forbidden in the fae world and the story tells all of the dangers they encounter while trying to have their mating accepted. There is a HEA but a lot happens first. This is a well written and entertaining story that is worth read. I would highly recommend it.

OMG! What a fun and SEXY read! While a short story, this is not a super short read. This story starts with a bang, and sucks your right in. But this isn't just a sexy times story. There is plenty of action, intrigue, danger, and inter-species politics. I really enjoyed reading this book, and can't wait to read the others in the series!

This was a great read from start to finish. I liked that this starts with the Fae gathering for their summer solstice mating hunt and Flynn finds himself attracted to Lucy who is a female. Flynn is the king and mating to a human won't go over well. I liked all the twists and turns in this story and can't wait to read the next book.

Mind-blowing! A riveting book one in the Royally Mated series! It is well written, fast pace, and engaging with a story-line that is action-packed, steamy, funny, witty, and intriguing with danger, suspense, drama, twists and turns, and surprises. The characters are likeable and strong; the chemistry between them is intense, instant, and off the charts. Definitely recommended!

Hot Alpha Male

This is a quick read
Very enjoyable
Flynn is the Fae King and its the night of the summer solstice - he's just scented something unique in the air and he is helpless, he must follow that scent. It takes him to the human village where he discovers his mate, his Human mate. It is forbidden to mate with a human
Lucy can't understand why she's so drawn to this stranger. There's a pull to him.
Will they get their HEA or will they have to give each other up?

The author has given us characters we can care about. Flynn, King of the Faerie, finds his mate and she, Lucy, just happens to be human. His enemies want to use Lucy against him. Hopefully their bond will save them.

This is the 1st book in this new stand alone paranormal romance. Flynn is the Fae king and during their mating ceremony he is drawn to a human. If he mates with her it could cause war if he does not it could kill them both.

Hard dnf. I cant stand insta-love books, especially ones where they're in bed the first quarter (if that) of the book. I need a bit more of a story, some chemistry, some build-up, something!
On a side note, this book does not lack on the sizzle. If you're wanting an erotic read, you wont be disappointed. I just felt like there could have been so much more.

Lucy and the faerie King

Beautiful, fantasy kinky romance, between the King Faerie and a human girl, strong and brave with a pure soul that submits beautifully to the king although being more pure and strong than him. She's different, and outcast on both sides, and she's more pure and powerful than even herself knows.

-paranormal romance
-fated mates
-fae/human
-Kidnapping

I selected this book as a light read to refresh myself, and it served its purpose adequately. While it wasn't exceptional, neither was it particularly poor; it was simply satisfactory. However, its appeal might vary, and I wouldn't actively recommend it to others. It had no true plot and was rushed, in my opinion.
