TEACHER'S REVIEW #1
This review and the following two are reviews of books I'll give to my students on our Easter Class on Monday. These reviews will boost my reading challenge, and will prepare me for the post-Easter discussion for each book with each student.
This was a cute little story, with a learning technique (simple text at the top (for the child), more elaborated text at the bottom (for the adult), and a duck hunt on every page.)
I wish it was longer but since it's part of a series it's fine. I think this is an easy book for students that are total beginners in English and are afraid of reading in their own language let alone in a foreign one.

Çiftlik öyküleri serisi genelde güzel, yalnız tek sorun öykülerin gösterdiği bir yön yok. Didaktik olmamalarını kasdetmiyorum, her öykü didaktik olmak zorunda değil. Çiftlik öyküleri 4 yaşına kadar tuhaf gelişen olaylar üzerinden ilgi çekiyor, ama daha sonrası için pek yeterli içerikte değil.

Bu kitaptan örnekle; çiftliğin ortasına uçan balonla inilmesi hayal gücü geliştiriyor olması açısından bile düşünsek oldukça anlamsız ve absürd bir durum.

You get to see Mrs. Boot's annoyance in this story where they get surprise visitors in a hot air balloon. This story is not interesting for an adult - but gold for a toddler.

Cute story about a farm family that discovers some surprise visitors in a hot air balloon in the cow pasture. Would be a good, simple resource for talking about the concepts of hot air rising, how balloons fly, and more, or just a fun book.
