Heath's husband left him after finding out the surrogate was pregnant not with one but three babies. Markus gave him an ultimatum and Heath chose the babies. But choosing the babies left him single and struggling. Just when he thought his luck had changed, when a gym buddy offers him a place to stay, turns out said gym buddy was not being honest. The place offered was a trailer and a complete dump. Definitely not a place you want newborn triplets at. However, this leads Heath to Kolt.

Kolt is a cowboy who comes from a big loving family. He is kind and caring. When he finds Heath in a trailer on a neighboring property he feels like he must help him. He takes Heath back to his place and gives him shelter. This changes both their lives. What was supposed to be a short stay until Heath gets back on his feet turns into so much more.

This story was sweet. The two main MCs were really nice maybe a bit too sweet. I did like Kolt's big family and how loving they all were. I also liked how Kolt took to the babies so quickly. I didn't really understand why the whole stalker storyline was included. It was weird and didn't really make sense. I guess the author felt like the story needed some drama. However, it still didn't make sense why the person who was the stalker did anything he did. I was confused by it all. Anyways overall an ok read.

Chama in Northern New Mexico.
Staying clear from his ex husband, Heath, from Texas, finds himself and the two month old babies in a crappy trailer and at the lowest point in his life. A rider on horseback comes up and rescues Heath and the triplets, David, Graham and Amanda, taking them to safety and out of the snowy cold to warmth and comfort.
Kolt has a huge family and takes to the babies right away.

He's an ex-rodeo champion bull rider, tall, close cut black hair, and has a successful ranch.
Heath Doesn't know how he'll repay such kindness, and it's three days before Christmas.
Heath has ginger brown hair and blue eyes,

is a freelance writer, a good cook, and struggling to survive after he was swindled.

Kolt's whole family pitches in, with baby supplies,

a tree, decorations and lots of caring and love.

New Years Eve brings more snow and family love and acceptance, too. Heath's tale is sad. In addition, New Years brings a tender first kiss for the men.

It's a slow burn romance, but it's a solid , devoted and loving relationship. The kids are number one and they share the load. The events and small wonders feel very realistic as they tend to the little babies.

They have great food, courtesy of Heath's skills, cuddles to babies, and contentment.
Then, the weird calls, pictures and more started showing up and confusing everyone. Heath's ex got what he wanted, and his friend Allen turned out to be a scammer with the trailer. Who is responsible for the stalking?

When more troubles come up, the family rallies.
Heath and the kids are safe, until a horrible thing is left on his SUV.

- Soon... doors are locked and guns are cocked! -

The excitement is a tense time for all,

and the violence is met with the same. Kolt's family is amazing and Heath and the babies are surrounded by love.

I love the two men, both easy going, understanding, strong, positive, devoted and passionate. Their sexy times are hot, and bond them even tighter.

The characters are lively, lots of Texas/Southwestern hospitality, some cute animals, and a busy daily life.

The epilogue is a terrific HEA.
ENJOY !

I loved this feel-good single dad romance and was invested in Heath and Kolt’s HEA almost immediately. One of the things that drew me in was the wonderful family feel, and the way Kolt’s huge family all rally round to help Heath and his triplets. I’m already a fan of this author’s cozy cowboy family stories.

Being a parent of multiples, I thought the author did a great job in showing the challenges of dealing with more than one baby, and I loved how Kolt took on the role of their other dad. His bond with the babies, especially Amanda, was heartwarming and very emotionally real. Heath has a lot of inner strength, despite his conviction he hasn’t. Making a new life for himself and his children away from his manipulative ex takes a lot of courage. I thought the slow burn worked well, and made sense given the situation, and them not only exploring their possible relationship, but trying to find adult time around raising triplets.

I loved Kolt’s family, especially his parents, and his cousin Jayla. I liked how the cowboys include Heath as one of their family too, and everyone works together to fight off the threat. I thought the mystery of who was behind all the nastiness was nicely done, with several red herrings. The final showdown is tense, and had me sitting up late turning pages.

I also liked the wider community in town, and Kolt’s rodeo friends, and agent. I hope we see more of these characters in other books.

The epilogue is sweet, and a perfect addition to Heath and Kolt’s HEA.

I was born in Texas and spent some high school years there (in the good old 90's!), and have lived in New Mexico since 2000 when my twin babies were born, so it was a treat to see various NM places and -isms. I was just telling my bf he needs to get me a Blake's burrito for breakfast tomorrow lol. I enjoyed the story and love Kolt. Heath is great too but Kolt was pretty special. This was my first by this author but I will definitely be reading more!

Heath is not having a good time of it. His husband divorced him when his surrogate found she was having triplets. Then a man he thought to be a friend mis-sold him a vacation rental and what should have been a beautiful ranch turned out to be a trailer on some abandoned land. When cowboy Kolt literally comes riding up to save the day it looks like Heath’s luck might have changed.

I loved Kolt. He has such a big heart and I adored how he looked after the kid’s and Heath. His family are huge and all so caring as well and this was just such a sweet book. The triplets sounded super cute and I loved how they were such a big part of the story. I really enjoyed this one and will be on the lookout for other books in this series.

I adore BA's cowboy stories and Cowboy Haven has a perfect balance of romance, drama and baby cuteness.
Heath really has hit rock bottom when Kolt comes across him living in a trailer that's falling apart with his three baby triplets after being scammed. Kolt's kind heart can't leave them there so he takes them in and they fall into a whirlwind of feedings, napping and building a friendship. My heart break with every new piece of information that Heath reveals about his past and then it gets harder for them when someone starts sending messages and following them.
With all of this going on, the two men find comfort and support with each other, falling fast and hard but it feels so natural between them. There's definitely a dose of drama with everything that goes on whilst their relationship goes from strength to strength. Kolt finds the family life he's always wanted and Heath finally has the love and life he's dreamt of. The triplets bring their own slice of joy to both men's lives and Kolt's family is just ridiculous. There's so many of them and they are so welcoming, loving and crazy protective when it comes to family.
Another highly recommended read from BA Tortuga and her Cowboy series. I needed something comforting and easy to read and went straight for this in my tbr pile.
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.

Absolutely brilliant
Firstly let me say I’ve got this book from gay romance reviews and this is me leaving my honest review.
Heath thought he had everything. That was until his husband decided that Heath needed to decide whether he wanted to be married with one son or divorced with three children. They had found a surrogate to start their family, his husband Markus didn’t want three children so it was up to Heath to decide. He decided on all three babies. But when he finds him self in a disgusting trailer with holes in the windows and three premature babies he wasn’t sure what he was going to do. A guy from the gym was in real estate and had rented him a house he thought. That was the picture anyway but in reality he knew he had been conned.
Kolt Was a former rodeo champ but he had been injured. Thankfully he had the ranch to fall back on. When he was out doing checks on his horse Apple he found smoke coming from the trailer that nobody should be in. He thought it would be kids but when he got there he noticed a good looking man and then he heard a babies cry. When he went in and he saw him with three babies tiny tiny babies he knew he couldn’t leave the man and his children here so we offered them a place to stay at the ranch. Kolt had a big family so taking care of three babies wasn’t going to be a task. He knew his family would rally around Heath and the babies. As they spent more time together they couldn’t hide the attraction that they had for one another. Would they be happy together?? Would they be a family?

I am going to be honest and say I did not see where the storyline was going. I thought it would be guy meets guy offers to take care of him until he gets on his feet then they feel the attraction and then they’re family but there is just so much more going on in this book. This is like a slow burn. Which I think was the right way because understanding Heath and what he had gone through, he will do anything to protect his children. But there was just something when these two were together, the way that Kolt took to the children was just amazing it was like they were his from the start. But what really got me was Kolt’s family and how they excepted Heath and the babies. It was just an amazing story to read I’m not gonna tell you about part of the story line you to find out on your own but these two men are amazing. To be part of kolt’s family you would feel totally blessed. An amazing read couldn’t put it down and read it through the night cannot wait for the next book in the series .

Title - Cowboy Haven
Author - BA Tortuga
Genre - MM Romance
Published - April 2022

Heath leaves Texas after getting divorced from his husband. When a friend offers him a chance to stay at a luxurious house for cheap he feels like he's hit the jackpot. He gets to escape his ex and gets a home for himself and his newborn triplets. When he arrives he finds a condemned trailer in the middle of a freezing winter and he feels like he's once again hit rock bottom.
Kolt is out riding when he spots smoke coming from the old abandoned trailer in the next property over. When he heads over to find out what's going on he finds a man and three young babies. There's no way he can leave them there. Kolt offers his home to this man and his babies. He knows his life is about to change but he has no idea just how much.

I really enjoyed this book, I found the characters to be likeable, and relatable and found the character development to be really good throughout. I thought Kolt was exactly what Health and his babies needed and I absolutely loved how much Kolt cared for the triplets and Heath. Kolt's family were amazing, I loved how they all rallied around and grouped together to protect and help Heath and his babies.
I thought the plot was fast-paced, interesting and kept me hooked, it was logical, easy to follow and flowed well. I enjoyed the authors writing style. I felt the story wrapped up well, it didn't leave any questions unanswered and I can't wait for more from this series.

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves MM romances with sexy cowboys, cute babies and funny amazing families. Then this is most certainly the book for you. Hell even if you don't like those things I'd say read this book anyway and then you will love those things =D

OMG! I absolutely loved this story! It made everything better when it takes place in my home state, New Mexico! B.A. Tortuga’s book covers are what draws my eyes to them, knowing I’d enjoy reading her m/m books! This one absolutely did not disappoint!!!! I am so envious of Heath and Kolt!!! Love that children are thrown into this mixture which makes Heath and Kolt so endearing for me! I was living through Heath and Kolt vivaciously since I do not live on a ranch but would love to! The love they have for each other….whew!!!!
The story starts with Heath moving to the upper west area of New Mexico under a viciously false pretense but ended up living in a mobile trailer that was about to fall apart in the middle of wintertime with nearly newborn triplets! Luckily Kolt was riding his horse when he saw a smoke coming out of the trailer when he was checking his area. He was surprised to see the smoke coming out of the trailer because he knew the owner was about to take it down in the near future. He found Heath trying to keep his three babies warm in a rather cold room. Without thinking, he insisted Heath and the babies come and stay at his ranch so they’d be warm. That was only the beginning of the story but there’s more to why Heath was there under false pretense along with a twist. Just pick up the book and read it! It’s such a great story!!!!

Kolt saw smoke as he was riding on his ranch. He didn't expect to find a strange man with three babies living in a condemned trailer. Of course he had to offer assistance to the exhausted father, Heath, and babies, Amanda, David and Graham. After deciding to keep all three of the babies their surrogate was carrying Health's husband decided he wanted a divorce, leaving Heath with the babies and little else.

This story is full of Kolt's very extended family who surround Heath and the babies. Slowly feelings develop between the men as Kolt gives Heath a place to live and the support he needs to rebuild his life. Heath is followed to the ranch by a stalker who's convinced that Heath is his.

Both characters bring some baggage to the relationship but love wins after all!

I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Gay romance between two lost guys...sweet and passionate with intrigue
Who doesn’t like sexy cowboys? This is the first book by BA Tortuga that I have read and it was so well written and entertaining that I’m sure I’ll read others, especially when cowboys are involved. Love the cover too!
Former bull rider on the rodeo circuit, Kolt Cordova is out riding his horse, deep in thought because his identity has been tied up with his career for so long that being without it leaves him lost and lonely. He’s had one injury too many. He notices smoke where it shouldn’t be. What he finds is Heath Barren and his infant triplets in a condemned trailer that Heath rented on the advice of Allen. (There will be a lot more about him later.) Oh. What. A. Mess! Kolt is furious that someone would do this to this man and his babies. Kolt invites Heath and his babies to his home. Fascinating story that I couldn’t put down and when I wasn’t reading it, I was thinking about it. Somebody is out to hurt Heath. Is it his former husband? Will they succeed to hurt him or his babies? Or will they end up hurting Kolt?
If you like a good M/M romance with mystery and intrigue, try this book. The author has done such a good job in describing the characters, especially the twins, that reading this book was like seeing a movie through words. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book through Gay Romance Reviews.

Emotionally Fulfilling! A Sweetly Romantic Slow Burn story of Love being found in the most unexpected situations. I can’t speak highly enough about the books written by B.A. Tortuga, including the newest, Cowboy Haven. Through a cruel twist of Fate, Heath finds himself with his 3 newborns being taken in by Ex-Rodeo Cowboy Kolt. Initially, Kolt is just being a good guy and trying to do the right thing by this family but very quickly Kolt discovers that Heath and his brood are exactly what was missing in his life and that family connection doesn’t have to be biological. The author's writing style just makes me want the stories to never end and that is really how her books read. I felt like I was getting to a conclusion (sadly) when I checked how far into the book I was,,, only 30%! So many more wonderful things to come and I find that with every book by this author that I read. Cowboy Haven also had one of my favorite quotes from a book that I’ve read, “Life is what happens when you're taking care of what matters”, truer words were never written. Highly recommend this book and going back to read some of her other Cozy-Cowboy stories, you will never be disappointed with your choice!

I love cowboys and babies, especially those brought to us by BA Tortuga. Right from the beginning this author pulled me into the Heath and Kolt's story. Heath thinks he has his whole life planned out. He's living a life with the man he loves and they are getting ready to have a baby. But then things go wrong and the life Heath thought he had falls apart and he's left wondering if he and his little babies are going to survive. When Kolt comes into his life and things once again turn around, Heath couldn't be happier, but that does not mean he can't stopping waiting for the other shoe to fall.

Ms. Tortuga always leaves me falling for her characters. From the beginning I can't help but be drawn to both Heath and Kolt. At the beginning I found myself wanting to cry when Heath shows up to what should have been the home he would raise his children, only to find a falling down unlivable trailer. When Kolt shows up I could not help thinking "Thank God".

Of course those who have read other stories by this author know that Kolt is going to do everything in his power to help this little family and along the way the two will fall in love. There is a little angst in the story but all in all it is a light read that will leave the reader wanting more .

A Sweet, Sweet Love Story!

Although the first few pages tells us the sad past of Heath regarding the end of his marriage and going through the final stages of surrogacy, it started to get so much better when he was duped into renting what was supposedly a ranch house complete with amenities but turned out to be a dumped trailer with holes and clearly inhabitable for him and especially for his three infants.

Not knowing what to do and having used the last of his money to pay the man who duped him, Heath was trying to do the best he can with what he was given. Luckily for him someone came to see what was happening when the smoke from the fire he made to warm themselves was seen by Kolt Cordova, the owner of the ranch close to the trailer. He told Heath that no one was supposed to be there because it was condemned.

Heath's misfortune became his fortune when Kolt took him in with his children. What started out as kindness turned into something more.

I love the sweetness of the story. I love learning the way they speak, because Texans and the Cordovas have their own way of talking. I love all of it. Congratulations Ms. Tortuga!

I was hooked on the first page. Heath's ex, Marcus made him choose 1 baby + husband or single fatherhood with the triplets. Bye bye Marcus. Then, 'friend' Allen sold him on a lovely ranch house needing a short term tenant which in reality was a broken down trailer in the middle of nowhere, there really can be nowhere to go but up. Right? Kolt was out riding, saw smoke, investigated and found Heath and his three babies Graham, Amanda and David trying to survive in a squirrelled out trailor with broken windows. Kolt, did the right thing and offered Heath shelter and a family. BA, leads us on a journey of choices, shock, survival, compassion, love and justice. Kolt's family is amazing and BA created a wonferful group of people. Excellent story. Well done! I received an ARC and am happily voluntarily leaving a review.

I love BA’s cowboy books. This might be my favorite after Two Cowboys and a Baby. This book is about Heath and Kolt. Heath is a writer who is not having a good year, his ex Markus left him because he decided to keep the triplets, and is living in a run-down trailer in the middle of nowhere because his 'friend' conned him. But he is not giving up after all he has his babies. He meets by chance Kolt who owns the farm next door, who takes him and the babies in. I really liked Kolt he was an all around-good person willing to lend a hand to Heath and he was sooo good with the kids! The two MCs had instant chemistry and were great together. His family was also awesome. So glad the smarmy ex got what he deserved in the end!

Happiness with a wonderful family is wrapped up in this story.
Heath had triples through surrogacy but his partner, now "ex", Markus gave him a choice, "Make a choice, babe. Me and one baby, or you and three babies." What a jerk! Marcus abandons him for a life not saddled with kids. Heath is duped into getting another house, only to find a rundown dump of a trailer and discovers he doesn't even own this place but that it belongs to former rodeo cowboy Kolt Cordova. Thus begins a wonderful story of attraction, and the dedication of the Cordova family that exemplifies proud heritage and traditions. Of course, there is an over-the-top unbelievable villain but one out of the blue (totally unexpected by me) who causes deadly harm to one of these men. The Cordova wagons encircle, and a HEA is achieved. This is really a beautiful story and one that I really liked. This is my voluntary and honest review for the ARC I received.

There’s something incredibly heartwarming about the way Heath and his triplets are absorbed into the controlled chaos of Kolt’s huge, loving, opinionated and scarily efficient family. Even more than the romance between Kolt and Heath, this is a love story about all the members of a family that rallies around its newest members. Between descriptions of (endless) ranch chores, innumerable (delicious) meals and the latest (adorable) developments in the triplets capabilities as they get older and develop into their personalities, this story can overwhelm you, in the best possible way, in the minutia of Kolt and Heath’s day to day. It’s the central focus of the story, so much so that the mysterious and sinister subplot, which kickstarts their relationship and then lingers, dramatically, in the background, doesn’t end up completely resolved: there’s closure(ish) but no explanations for how/what/why, and I…did not love that. Overall, however, it’s an enjoyable read, and a celebration of finding the right place and people to make a home with.

Cowboy Haven is an absolutely delightful story that had me fully engaged from the first page to the last. It is beautifully written, sweet, funny, emotional, heartbreakingly sad at times, full of hope, inspiring, the characters are amazing and I loved it. Heath is doing his very best to look after his three adorable babies but he just can't seem to get ahead no matter how hard he tries. He has overcome so much in his past and I love that he is so resilient and determined. Kolt is also dealing with a major change in his life and when he finds Heath and his babies he immediately convinces him to move into his home and to accept his help as well as the help of his huge loving family. They are perfect for each other and I love how their relationship evolves as they get to know each other. There are a few bad moments when someone from Heath's past shows up but luckily they have a lot of support from Kolt's family. The ending is perfect, I adore the secondary characters and I can't wait to see what the author has in store for us next.

I received an ARC and this is my honest review.

This book had all the things you can expect from a B.A. Tortuga cowboy romance - some great characters, that homely feeling with a big extended family involved and a HEA. Heath started off in a real situation, alone in a condemned trailer with newborn triplets. Then in swoops Kolt to the rescue and the romance builds from there. The pair had such a lovely connection although the romance itself was the slowest burn ever! In fact, it was so slow burn that it seemed like they just melted from friends to in love without any real 'click' moment where things changed.

From start to finish, this book was filled to the brim with super sweet moments, usually involving the triplets. They were the real stars of the book and everyone else seemed to revolve around them. Also, based on the events near the end of the book, I really enjoyed reading about the cousins in Kolt's family - they sounded absolutely no nonsense and I loved it!

Overall, this is a super sweet, slow-burn romance. If you like this genre with plenty of cowboys thrown in, I'd recommend you give this book a try.

This was an amazing story of love and acceptance and finding the one who makes you whole. This is the story of Heath and his three amazing babies and Kolt who literally saved them. This book was so hard to set down that my husband had to make a sandwich for supper. I wasn’t going to put down the book. This story has everything, angst, danger, comfort, food, love, an adopted family and acceptance. Your heart will melt, and you can feel the love and affection growing between the two men. Add in some zany family characters and a hardheaded donkey and you will be smiling as you read this wonderful story. Highly recommend escaping to New Mexico and finding love!

To be honest I have never been drawn to BA Tortugas books. And for that I could slap myself. I have recently started to read a couple of her books and I think I might be hooked.

This was Cowboy Haven.
It tells of a man (Heath) who is starting a family with his husband. The surrogate te;ls them that although they were expecting one of the embryo's to take, actually all three have. Heaths husband decides he only wanted one baby and gives Heath the unltimatum, It's me and ONE baby or your on your own. As the biological father it's a no brainer for Heath.

Heath has know Allen for years as they go to the same gym. Being a real estate agent, Allen offers Heath the chance of a new start renting a house for a year in New Mexico. But when Heath rocks up with 3 bables in tow, he finds a dilapidated old trailer with critters and a leaking roof. Heath does his best in the circumstances but his savings he gave to Allen to rent a supposed house.

Kolt is a rancher from a nearby property and ex-rodeo star. He is out on his land when he sees smoke coming from the trailer and immediately thinks it's on fire. What he finds, floors him.
There is no way he can leave Heath here with 3 tiny babies and takes them to stay at his home.

Kolt is the kind of man I would want to bring my kids up. He feeds the babies and changes diapers.
He really falls in love with them all but has a soft spot for the only girl of the bunch, and she does the same. He would kill for all of them (Heath included).

I love Heath he is a man with a past but has dragged himself out of the gutter to be a better man and loves his triplets. He will do anything for anyone.
Kolt just pulls on my heartstrings though. He now has the little family of his own he wants.
There are trials and tribulations to overcome but as a team they are a winning combination.

Watch out for one big ass nosy family, unexpected allies and a herd of alpacas.

Fabulous, left me wanting more of these two.

B.A. Tortuga writes hot, sweet cowboys that aren’t always perfect but are always perfect for their love interest, and children that are adorable, funny and very believable. When you put those together, you get the perfect books to settle down with at the end of a rough day when you just need a laugh to lift your spirits. And this author always delivers that time and time again, though it might take a little heartache to get there.

In Cowboy Haven, that heartache comes from Heath trying to take care of his triplets alone after his lets him down and someone that was supposed to be a friend scams him out of his money and leaves him in a rundown trailer with no heat. Kolt is the cowboy that finds him in moment of need and offers him and his babies a safe place to stay until he can take a breath and make a plan for his life. Of course Heath falls in love with Kolt during this time and immediately wishes he and his children could stay with Kolt forever. But it would be impossible that Kolt feels the same way…wouldn’t it?

I do love this author’s cowboy books. Some are definitely hotter and sexier than others but they all deliver on the heartwarming moments and the love of extended and found families. Heath has been dealt a very bad hand in life and just when he thinks he is at his lowest point, Kolt comes in on his horse and rescues him. Kolt isn’t sure what to think of the hipster with the infant triplets but he can’t let the four of them suffer and invites them into his home on his ranch. The rest of this story is an instant attraction but slow burn romance that just simply blossoms into a wonderful found family that becomes so much more. I love stories of single dads and the ones who fall in love with them and their kids. But who could not love David, Graham, and Amanda?!?! This story is chock full of tender thoughts and stolen kisses. I absolutely adored it! And will probably reread it again and again. I also love the supporting cast of Kolt’s loud and boisterous yet incredibly loving family.

Oh such a wonderful romance.
The good guys really do win in this one!

They overcome a divorce...a stalker...homelessness...rodeo injuries...betrayal by a friend. As well as an ex-husband who is a total scumbag!

Luckily there is a huge, loving family ready to embrace the newly divorced father of 3 newborns, a cowboy who wants nothing more than to help and love mends all the hurt.

When you've got lots of rodeo cowboys napping with babies, and are adept at changing diapers and defending those who are helpless, you're instantly in love and reassured that there is good in this world.

BA describes a world that you want to join. You'll be tempted to go buy a donkey or an alpaca or two! Then you'll try to figure out if you can make a living on a remote New Mexico ranch. That sounds like the perfect life!

I enjoyed this book but it wasn’t one of my favorites by B.A. Tortuga. Usually her characters feel really unique but both Kolt & Heath fell kind of flat to me. They both just seemed like characters I had read before in a Cowboy Romance. Also sometimes there were large time jumps but it wasn’t made clear until you read more into the chapter. If the story is going to jump a couple of months forward I would rather have the chai tee say it right at the beginning. Just a note that said “three months later” or something like that.

This was a good book and I wanted to finish it, but it didn’t have me reading non stop. It just wasn’t having me feel like I was really a part of the story. I did really enjoy all of Kolt’s family a lot. They were fun, supportive and added a lot to the story. I would have given the story 4 stars but the villain is why it went down to 3 stars.

SPOILERS BELOW DO NOT KEEP READING IF YOU DO NOT WANT SPOILERS

Having Allen be the “villain” just did not make sense. If he wanted to be with Heath why did he lie to him and rent him that terrible trailer and then change his number so Heath couldn’t contact him? It just made Heath dislike him. Plus it made Heath move to a different state. If Allen really wanted to be with Heath and was obsessed with him he wouldn’t have encouraged him to move away. At one point Heath said he didn’t recognize the stalker he saw. If it was Allen he would have recognized him. It was never explained why Allen felt like he belonged with Heath besides he was there during Heath’s divorce. It just really didn’t make sense at all. It definitely left me feeling unsatisfied with the conclusion.

I will keep reading B.A. Tortuga’s cowboy romance stories but I won’t be reading this particular story again.

I did receive a free ARC of this book but that did not influence my review.

The story begins when Kolt is riding his horse on his ranch when he discovers Heath staying with his three babies in a condemned house. Heath is there because he thought he was renting a house for 6 months, but really it was just a dump & now he’s stuck trying to take care of his babies (after a break up with his ex) with no money.

Kolt can’t just leave him there, so he convinces Heath to come stay with him for a few weeks until he gets back on his feet.

I absolutely love Kolt’s family, everyone should be so lucky to have a family like this. I also really love how they both keep saying what attributes the triplets will have, guessing about what they’ll be like when they’re older.

The only problem they seem to have is how Heath seems to have a stalker from his old life, which could put the babies & his new family at risk...

Great story! Love the ending, the babies, & Kolt & Heath as a couple.

I received this free ARC in exchange for an honest review.

2.5 stars

I liked parts of this book and didn’t really care for others. I liked the concept and the family atmosphere but the actual flow of the book felt off. Example: The MCs kissed on New Years Eve and next thing we know they are together? Like no buildup, no conversation about it, nothing. And holy crap, I think half the book was dedicated to who had which triplet and the other half was the food.
Side note: Don’t ever put a blanket in the bottom of a crib/pack-n-play with newborns or surround them with pillows, that’s a sure way for them to die of SIDS.
