Seriously folks, I think my Apple watch closed my workout ring while I read this book…my heartrate was definitely elevated and I seriously couldn’t stop fidgeting. Yes, that is how hot and bothered I got reading this book.

Luna’s purr… Quinn’s openness… and Al’s dominance (and what he has hiding in his pants)… were So. Damn. Hot! I wouldn’t mind being the bread or the meat in this love sandwich! And I think I might actually need a visual representation of a couple of those smuttastic smexy scenes.

But y’all this isn’t all spicy goodness…there is a story too! Once again we get another glimpse into the Barista and I seriously can’t wait to see him fall…

And we get to meet two of the Barista’s closest friends Al and Luna, a mated pair, who have decided they need a mate to share… Of course our fave retired Grim Reaper can find their perfect match…but Quinn has some history with the creature world that she needs to work through in order to let the monsters into her life. You won’t see the twists coming!

This series is the Purrrr-Fect spicy afternoon getaway. Suspense, romance, and WHOLE LOT OF Kinky steam! Instant Gratification at it’s finest and a must read series for all the monster lovers out there!

I feel like this series is so short its hard to do a “plot” - which is what this book tried to do. The human part of this triad, Quinn, is seeking revenge on monsters for hurting her family - so she takes a job at the Creature Cafe to write an expose. But its immediately abandoned when she looks into the eyes of monster couple Luna / Al, who are looking for their third.

A fun triad book, especially because Al has extra equipment.

The only reason I’m reading the rest of the books in this series is for the storyline so I will have all the necessary bits going into the final book. I now understand what was happening in book 6 with the vampire coven but the rest was a bit meh.

The most interesting part of this book was the Al’s Werewolf anatomy. 🍆🍆

I love the idea of a Cafe for mythical creatures and each book follows a different couple with lots of sex but the author's writing style and storytelling hinders the story. I found myself not able to fully enjoy the characters and their interactions because of how fast we jumped from situation to situation. I think these books would be better with less conflict and just lots of fluff.

Book 5 of the Creature Cafe series. We have Quinn, a human , Luna, a werecat, and Al, a werewolf.

This is FFM.

The relationship between Al and Luna was adorable and I love how open they were to accepting Quinn. No hesitation or questioning feelings between them🖤

Quinn came to the Barista with bad intentions that quickly changed.

The dynamic between the 3 of them worked so well. There was never a moment one person felt more loved than the others (which happen all the time in poly books🤷🏽‍♀️). They all had their role and played off each other well.

I seriously LOVE the Creature Cafe series & this one certainly didn't disappoint! I enjoyed the idea that Quinn joined Al & Luna's relationship, especially that we got to see variations of their dynamic in the spicy scenes throughout the book. You get to see all three of them together, but you also get to see Quinn with Al & Luna separately.

With this lovely latest addition to Cilo Evans Creature Cafe Series we meet Quinn, an exposé journalist out for some personal revenge against all creature-dom. Unknownst to Quinn, her undercover job brings her right into the Barista’s employ, and literally face to face with her fated soul-mates upon arrival.
While this coupling isn’t my usual cuppa; Ms. Evans writing style worked her usual magic and has me invested in this story from the beginning. Surprisingly, my favorite character this time around was the other female in this trio, Luna. Luna dual nature clearly demonstrated the tender caring side of creatures while also displaying their ruthlessness when push came to shove. Some of my favorite scenes weren’t the heated ones this time around, but the tender moments showing the bonds forming between these three mates. I did feel that the story seems a rushed compared to the others in this series, and the characters a little less fleshed out. However, as we’ve already met Luna and Al and gotten a feel for their personalities in a few previous books, as a whole the this book is a great addition to this lovely creature cafe world and an enjoyable read.

I've liked Al from the beginning, he seems like the Barista's righthand man. Luna was alright too. I liked how quickly things get done, the vampire immediately walking into the cafe. The brother was nuts.

I LOVED THESE THREE!

Their dynamic was SO HOT!!! Luna and Al are A+ at caring so deeply for Quinn from the get go. I appreciated how loving and open they all are as well as how willing they are to protect Quinn. Luna is a bada$$, I loved her attitude and bratty behavior. Al is the best teddy bear who will also not hesitate to break your back- just a perfect mix.

The progression of the underlying storyline with the Barista was great and I loved the twist, and how the next client of the Barista was lowkey introduced at the end! It

My only complaint is that: I WANT MORE! I wish these books were longer, if only so I could spend more time with these amazing characters.

I am so sad that I didn't LOVE this story. I liked it, it was good, there were some spicy parts, they talked about kinky shit, but we didn't really get to experience it with said characters. Al's equipment was very unique. But sadly, the overall storyline was a bit messy for me.

Quinn goes to the Creature Cafe with a revenge plot. She wants to uncover the truth of monsters and then expose it. I was hyped about this. I wanted to see how far she got in this plan, I wanted to see her struggle emotionally with her revenge plot versus the pull of being the mat for Al and Luna.

Sadly, things were rushed, and I don't feel as a reader I was given the opportunity to enjoy what could have been. The character's themselves acknowledge that things were rushed which kind of annoyed me because then I couldn't question if it was just me who felt this way when the actual writer is like yeah... I rushed shit.

I also don't think we saw enough of Luna and Quinn together. However, I read that the 7th book is F/F and HOT!! So it makes sense that the author teased us with that F/F interaction in this story. Gotta keep them coming back right??

With that said, there is still a lot of grey in this and I was left feeling unsatisfied. Yet I have no regrets reading it, will continue to support the series, like this trouple, just felt like they deserved more.

Review: I enjoyed this one this is such a fun series . The Barista is still dealing with stuff with lucifer and AL and Luna are looking for a third to be their mate . We also find out the Barista is an ex gril reaper who can see souls . Quinn she is getting revenge on her brother who was killed by a vampire. That is until she meets al and Luna and they all connect and end up having sex . Then we find out Quinn brother is not dead he was turned into a vampire . He comes to try to turn Quinn but Luna saves her and then al brings him back to the coven . Luna , Al and Quinn all end up mating I can't wait to read the next one.

He could see all souls, perks of being the Grim Reaper. Or, ex Grim Reaper… He didn’t claim souls for Death now. He had refused that path.

At this point, this is my favorite monster romance series to date!!! Yes, I know it’s my first one but I can’t imagine another series being any better than this one!

So this story starts off with Al, werewolf, and his wife Luna, werecat, meeting up with their long time good friend, Barista, to ask him for help to find their human mate to expand their pack and make their family complete. The Barista is against helping them at first because of his current issue with his ex but in the end he decides to help them. Well the issue comes into play when Quinn moves to their town and accepts a job at the cafe to not only get a fresh start but to get revenge on the creature who hurt her brother and expose the creatures to the world. Will Quinn leave her revenge behind for the love of a married couple?

All I can say is, there’s two of them!!! TWO!!!! Can you imagine all the fun you can have with two of them!!! Well this book gives you all the ideas if you ever want to try it! Al, Luna, and Quinn were so perfect together. They were loving, understanding, patient, protective, possessive, and down right horny for each other! And I ate that sh*t up!!! But can we get into all the action that happened in this book!! You will not want to put the book down because there’s so much that happens to Quinn and her past as well as little breadcrumbs about the Barista and the life he lived before the cafe! These books keep getting better and better!

Last but no means least (until the next book arrives on my kindle) it’s the freaking amazing Little Piece of Sass.

Quinn turns up to work at the creature cafe unknown to her that she would walk in and be instantly drawn to her mates who just happen to be a werewolf with 2 🍆🍆 and werecat!

I loved this book so much, the dynamic between the 3 of them was intense, emotional and super spicy 🌶🌶🌶 Luna is just so amazing with Quinn and Al with his gruffness and then his sweetness had me melting into a puddle (literally 💦 )

The story is a continuation from the previous books all surrounding the Barista and his match making skills but also the darkness that lurks in the background behind the happiness.

I can’t wait to read more about all the monsters, how they interlink together and where the story will go 🖤🖤

Quinn has come to the Creature Cafe to get revenge on the vampire that killed her brother and expose the creatures for what they were. That is until Al and Luna show up. Now she's got a new perspective on monsters, and it's definitely better.

Quinn was such a great addition to Luna and Al's romance. I Ioved how the three have their own individual identities and don't have to be all together to have fun. The different scenes they share were beyond steamy and will definitely melt anyone reading them.

The Barista's story is growing and we're finally seeing the story fall into place with him. I cant wait to see what comes next!

LOVED SO MUCH!! 5th novella in the series and yes I would recommend in order. I’m loving these characters so much.

This one is about 2 mates looking to add an additional mate into their family. FFM relationship dynamic. The werewolf has 2 🐓 and knots!

CNC, breeding, fully shifted sex, praise, dom/sub, primal, WLW, blood, breath play …honestly of just read the damn thing!

I've had this series on my TBR for a while and decided to give it a shot and I'm so glad that I did. Each novella in the series has a sweet steamy romance between a human and monster. The characters are intertwined and connected which I really enjoyed. I've really felt like I can connect with each couple so far. I've been devouring this series and I feel like the author did an amazing job creating unique captivating stories with engaging characters. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys steamy monster romance.

I was SO EXCITED to read this one because I adore werewolves and was NOT disappointed.

These books keep on getting better and better. The spicy scenes were top notch. There was the inclusion of heat and Al had 2 🐓🐓 😳

I loved the inclusion of primal play and this book reignited my love for werewolves.

I wanted to chase her, I realized. I wanted to hunt her in the snow and take her body against a tree in a forest.

I’ll hunt you down and 🦆 you beneath the moon once things settle some, and I’ll breed you until you’re begging me to stop. I’ll use your 🍑, your 🐱, your mouth. I’ll turn you into my little 🐕. Does that work for you?”

The conflict in this one was much more interesting and had multiple layers.

Overall, I really enjoyed this and I can't wait for the next installment!

When it comes to writing monster smut Clio does not disappoint. This book is a fiery inferno that consumes you and leaves you turning the page faster than you could have imagine. It will have you at the edge of your seat craving something you can’t have. It was amazing reading how Al, Luna and Quinn’s relationship developed and how it came about in a non traditional way. This has to be my favorite book from the series!! It’s a call to all monster lovers that want smut with a plot. If that’s not enough to sell you lady’s, Al’s surprise is worth double the excitement. You are in for a kotty good time 😈
