Scorching heat, laugh-out-loud humor, and swoon-worthy moments abound in this sexy new standalone romance by New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Melissa Foster.

What happens when you’re not looking for love, but it walks in the door?

Madigan Wicked’s heart is not up for grabs. She’s been there, done that, and she’s not going back for seconds. She pours her heart and soul into her family, her greeting card line, puppetry, and storytelling performances. But she’s not opposed to having a night of fun, and the gruff, sinfully hot, definitely-not-looking-for-love mysterious stranger she runs into at a bar might be just the right man to enjoy it with.

Ex-con Tobias Riggs has lost enough for one lifetime. The only family member in his corner doesn't remember him, and the people who he thought would always be in his life, walked away. He’s just trying to make it through each day, and the last thing he’s looking for is any sort of connection. When chemistry ignites with the snarky, sexy storyteller, with lips he can't stop thinking about, he gives in to a night of passion.

Though neither is open to love, it’s been known to bully its way into even the most resisting hearts. But can it survive the wicked truth of Tobias’s dark past?

About The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside
Set on the sandy shores of Cape Cod, the Wickeds feature fiercely protective heroes, strong heroines, and unbreakable family bonds. If you think bikers are all the same, you haven’t met the Dark Knights. The Dark Knights are a motorcycle club, not a gang. Their members stick together like family and will stop at nothing to keep their communities safe. These men are wickedly alpha and intensely loyal, but they are not alphaholes.

"We were made for this exact moment, right here, right now. Together."
I swear Melissa has an instruction manual somewhere with my name on it because she knows how to touch all the right spots—you know, those spots that make me fall in love with her heroes and want to be her heroines.
Can I live in the Wicked world? Because I want that more than anything.

"She stared him down with the confidence of a lioness sizing up her prey. Sexy as sin. And lethal as cyanide."
I loved Madigan. I mean, I knew I would from past books in the series, but I love her confidence. I love how driven she is, how she’s able to take it all and turn it around. The strength in her, even when she’s doubting herself because that only makes her more real. And the way she brings happiness to other people? She’s inspiring.

"He’s got that gruff, gravelly voice that you know sounds freaking hot in the dark."
Tobias is the hero you know I’ll love every single time. A great guy, hot as hell, a dirty talker and, you’ve guessed it, grumpy. He’s also broken, or maybe just bent. Maybe he just needs someone to believe him. I absolutely did.

"What’s your last name?"
"Wicked."
"I bet you are,"

Mads has a lot of stuff going on. She does therapy using puppets, she’s a storyteller and writes her own songs, and she even has a line of greeting cards. She has a wonderful family and wonderful friends, but she’s alone because of something that happened in her past.
Until, one night, Tobias is there watching her sing.

"But between the sunshine and the darkness were a thousand stages, and he’d always ridden that middle lane, intrigued by the darkness but needing the light. Madigan Wicked struck that chord hard."
He comments on her performance, and is taken the wrong way. She doesn’t back down, though, and you see the fire between them. However, he’s not looking for anything, and she seems way too good for him. She’s not looking either, but maybe he’s just what she needs.

"Fuck that, Blue Eyes." He grabbed her face with both hands. "I knew your lips would own me."
I’m not going to say it doesn’t take them a while, but I am going to say that the beach scene was incredible. ‘Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town’ is one of my favorite Pearl Jam songs, and to see it in this book melted my heart a bit more. I even have it in the background as I’m writing this.

"You know what they say. If you can’t take the heat…"
"I crave the burn."

The thing between them becomes too much to ignore, so they give in to it, which is fine. I mean, no one has to catch feelings, right? This doesn’t have to be a thing. They can just enjoy each other.

"That’s awfully presumptuous. You’ll fuck my mouth when and if I want you to."
"I’d have it no other way, but trust me. You’ll beg me to do it."

As usual, Melissa gives you that mix of heat and feels you know and love. These two are absolutely perfect for each other, and Tobias… Damn. I can’t even. They’re both hot, perfectly dirty, and never missing a chance to flirt or for some banter-y foreplay.

"He stopped strumming, his body aching for her, his mind wanting her smile, her laughter, and the way she made real life disappear too damn easily, and his fucking heart…"
He’s hiding things in his past, though. It’s not that she isn’t, but his are darker, and they have the power to break them apart. There’s so much hurt in who he used to be that it broke me while reading.

"Thank you. For seeing something in me I had forgotten existed."
Mads has her whole family with her, but Tobias has no one. In good Wicked fashion, they’re there for him because that’s who they are. And that’s when he realizes he doesn’t have to look anymore.
He’s found home.

"You’re letting me into the dark places where you keep your hurt, and I want to be in there with you."
There’s a lot of soul-searching. A lot of believing, a lot of forgiving yourself and others. A lot of acknowledging that things have happened and you can’t change them. And a lot of love and the kind of family you want in your life.

"Thank you for choosing me."
When you feel worthless and undeserving, it’s hard to believe anyone wants to stick around for you. It’s hard to open your heart knowing no one’s gonna be there. Until someone comes around and shows you that you don’t have to ride through life alone anymore.
That’s real love, and real hope too. Thank you for that, Melissa.

This is the 3rd book that I am reading by Melissa Foster. In it we finally have Madigan and Tobias story. To be honest, this book was perfect for me.

Madigan is not looking for love, just a little bit of good time. Tobias is the same. He will not stay long at one place and he doesn't want complications. Then again, it doesn't matter what they want, fate had other plans 😁.
Tobias has been through a lot in his live and I felt for him. I felt big time. On the other hand is Madigan who has been hurt before. I am soo glad, that they found each other. And they way, her family accepted him - this was soo sweet ♥️.

Last, but not least - The smut, the heat and passion between them...OMG...Off the charts, literally off the charts.
Melissa was right - this is her most sexier book up to date.
It was that good and I loved it 😍😍😍.

I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest opinion.

5 Star Review of The Wicked Truth Love (The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside #4) by Melissa Foster

I love my visits to Bayside, Cape Cod and the Wicked family and their friends;for me a book in this series is like coming home to catch up with family and friends. This is Madigan Wicked and ex con Tobias Riggs story and what a wonderful addition it was to the series. I love the Dark Knights and all they stand for, both for one another and for the community.

Sometimes fate works in mysterious ways. Neither Madigan (Mads) or Tobias were looking for love and yet that is what they found after a passionate one night stand. As I have come to expect from a Melissa Foster book, this was well written and emotional. There were moments that my heart broke for Tobias any all that he has lost.

This book had me crying, had me smiling, had me swooning and on the edge of my seat. I found myself reading well into the night as I just had to find out what was going to happen.
The chemistry that sizzled between Mads and Tobias was intense and the passion and heat was scorching.

However when Mads uncovers the secret that Tobias has been keeping she leaves and he in turns leaves town. This is one of my most favorite books by Melissa Foster.

Can they overcome the miss communications and in doing so find a wonderful future together? Will Mads forgive Tobias for withholding the truth?

One click and find out.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. The Wicked Truth is by far Melissa's sexiest read to date. In this the fourth book in the Dark Knights at Bayside series, Foster turned up the steam, cranked up the emotions and delivered lots of sexy and swoon worthy moments.

Oh, my! Tobias Riggs has completely captured my heart. From the moment of his introduction, his character consumed me. I needed to know what drove him and learn of the demons that haunted him. Recently released from prison, he came to the Cape to be close to one person who always believed in him. He had no intention of forming a connection with anyone. But then Madigan Wicked, with her confident and sassy nature, captured his attention. He knows he should stay away, but the intense connection between them drew them closer.

Now they both had no interest in a committed relationship. So it was quite interesting to see them so into each other. A relationship which began based solely on sex became so much more. As for Tobias, little did he know Madigan would be the woman to change his life.

Despite being hurt in the past, she possessed a light that encompasses all who get to know her. She shined her light into Tobias’s darkness, and you know what happens when light meets dark. In the end, he gained more that he had lost after going to prison.

Tobias held his pain close and only allowed Madigan a sliver of a glimpse into his past. So as their relationship grew in intensity, I waited with bated breath for the revelation. It was heartbreaking, but it helped to kick-start the healing process.

Family played a huge role in the story, which of course came as no surprise. Madigan’s family opened their hearts to Tobias, providing him with a sense of belonging. They showed him what it meant having a family, people who will have your back, even when you feel you don’t need it. This gave him the strength to face his own demons.

Besides the scorching sexy moments, readers should prepare for fun, flirty and sexy banter. Also, fair warning, one may need a box of tissues while reading.

I really enjoyed reading about the Dark Knights and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book. Fans of the author will enjoy The Wicked Truth. Also, readers of contemporary romance who have yet to read a book by Foster, the Dark Knights, will be a good starting point. This review was originally posted on Totally Addicted to Reading

The blurb for The Wicked Truth says “scorching heat, laugh-out-loud humor, and swoon-worthy moments abound in this sexy new standalone romance” Let’s examine this for a moment.
Scorching Heat-definitely. IMHO Melissa Foster packs more sex scenes into this story than any other I’ve ever read by her and I believe I’ve read them all. If Madigan Wicked and Tobias aren’t having sex, then she and her friends are talking about having sex.
Laugh out loud humor- honestly not so much. Yeah, Tank and Leah’s kids are cute but beyond that I didn’t find it particularly funny.
Swoon worthy moments- Yeah, there are plenty of those once these two figure their shit out. But even then after all the sex and all the shared warm moments it takes them forever to get around to saying those three little words. Something that’s as common in contemporary romances as casual sex.
Standalone- sure, this can be read as a standalone but Foster throws so many characters from both earlier books in this series and so many others at you early in this story that if like me you haven’t read at least all of her Dark Knight books and her Silver Island series books, and her Whiskey series, it will make your head spin. But in fairness to the author she does give you some cliff notes for most of the characters she includes from other books. Enough to at least possibly tease you into wanting to read the other books.
When she was a 19 or 20 year old college student studying abroad Madigan fell in love with an older more sophisticated man only to have him break her heart. She’s so broken hearted she determines she’s never going to trust her heart to anyone and risk getting it broken again. Which I guess is fairly typical for someone in their teens or early twenties. But here we are five or six years later and now 25-year-old Madigan is still sticking by that decision. God help us if everyone who got their heart broken by their first love gave up on love forever. But here’s something I didn’t get. Madigan has sworn off relationships since she returned to the U.S. with her heartbreak. She also says she’s tried a couple of one night stands but they weren’t for her. Then because she finds this broody handsome stranger so irresistible she actively pursues Tobias to have a one-night stand even though she claims they left her feeling unsatisfied. Anyway, the author makes it clear that Madigan is a very sexually uninhibited and experienced lover. But if she doesn’t do relationships and she doesn’t do one-night stands who exactly has she been doing for the past six years to gain this comfort level with being naked and exchanging bodily fluids with a stranger that she exhibits when she’s with Tobias?
Which brings me to another point. I wish I had a dollar for every contemporary romance I’ve read that began with a hook-up or a fling or a friends with benefits arrangement where as Madigan puts it, they’re just having some fun. I wouldn’t need Kindle Unlimited if I did. If you read contemporary romance you’d think every unmarried or uninvolved single person under fifty is regularly having meaningless, no strings, no emotional connections no expectations casual sex on a regular basis. And everyone is cool with it. But then in a tip of the hat to reality, these couples who begin “just having some fun” either catch feelings as you would expect because for most of us sex is an intimate and vulnerable experience. Or they eventually decide that meaningless sex is not meaningless but ultimately unsatisfying. leaving them feeling hollow or empty afterwards.
Tobias has recently been released from prison after serving 3 years out of a 5 year sentence for manslaughter. His now ex-wife Michelle divorced hm. His younger sister Carrie and his father have abandoned him. All he has left of his family is his beloved grandfather who has Alzheimer’s and is living in the local assisted living facility L.O.C.A.L. and doesn’t even recognize him half of the time. Tobias knows he isn’t planning on staying on the Cape for very long. Especially since soon Grandpa won’t even know who he is. He also knows that he has little to offer a woman and with a prison record that’s not likely to change. So when the beautiful blue-eyed brunette Madigan Wicked M.C. club princess of the local chapter of the Dark Knights M.C. with 4 burly overprotective brothers and even more burly overprotective cousins approaches him about having a little fun he turns her down. He believes that despite what Madigan tells him about just wanting a one-night stand or a brief fling, she’s a forever kind of woman. Eventually Madigan convinces Tobias that all she really wants is some sexual fun and isn’t looking for anything long term. She doesn’t even ask him what his last name is even after they’re spending nearly every night together with their lips, hands and genitalia all over each other because that’s against the rules for hooking up. So Tobias doesn’t tell her about the fact that he’s recently released from prison or what landed him there. These two go along for quite a bit of time fucking each others brains out pretending all their having is some fun. Tobias keeps trying to tell Madigan each time is the last time but he can’t stay away from her. Eventually when Tobias’s conviction comes out the shit hits the fan exploding his relationship with Madigan and Madigan’s relationship with her brothers. The rest of the story is about a lot of fence mending. There’s plenty of swoony moments and happy tears.

Passion

Madison and Tobias are so hot for each other that it explodes off of every page of this book. These two were destined to meet each other and become each other's soul mate despite their relationship being all about sex to begin with. I cried tears, laughed loudly and loved every bit of this book. Tobias is the ultimate bad boy who only let's his walls down for his person. A perfect must read and the best way to finish the year.

This is a perfect read to heat you up this winter!

Holy smokes! Tobias Riggs is one hot MF!! He’s my favourite kind, dirty talking & 100% broody…until Madigan Wicked comes along and opens his heart bit by bit and shines a light onto his darkness.

This is one of Melissa Fosters hottest books to date, both Tobias and Madigan are perfect for each other, they both have heartbreaking pasts but when they come together they have a connection that’s consuming, their lust for one another jumps off the page and Mads gives as good as she gets 🥵

As always, family is at the heart of these books and Madigan’s brothers & cousins didn’t let me down, I can’t wait for Blaine’s book, loved catching up with The Wicked’s and all their friends ❤️

family can be your strength and weakness
Overall 5 out of 5 stars
Performance 5 out of 5 stars
Story 5 out of 5 stars

Madigan and Toby had an electrifying chemistry between them. Even before they officially meet each other. They have seen each other from across a room many times over several weeks. They have a meeting over a song. Was it too fast? That’s another issue to solve in the story.

Madigan was smart and busy. She had no time for a man. A quick hook up would work but she was not very good at doing that either. Tobias was a man with a past. He was not looking to be seen. He want peace and to just disappear in the crowd of people.

Once these two get their chance fireworks are just the beginning. We see lots of the other past couple. We see much of family and friends. We delve deeper in to what make Madigan work the way she does. She was not a flake just moving place to place.

I love visiting she Wickeds (family and friends).

Jacob and Savannah brings the characters to life and make the story that much more. Love the performances provided by them both. You make a connection to the characters.

Reasons I enjoyed this book:
Easy-to-read Wonderful characters Entertaining Realistic

The Wicked Truth is book #4 of The Wickeds: Dark Knights At Bayside series of contemporary romances.

This book can be read as a stand alone story, however there are many characters from other books which all link up.

This is the story of Tobias and Madigan. They share a connection for music and neither is looking for a long-term relationship.

The romance is very spicy and there are a lot of explicit sex scenes, so go into this book knowing what you might read.

This one wasn't quite for me, it was a little too dark and spicy.

Color Me Shocked that I have fallen in love with another Melissa Foster book. LOL Seriously I don't know how she does it, Melissa Foster has a knack for not only giving us the perfect Book Boyfriends but also kick ass women that we cannot help but love as well.

In THE WICKED TRUTH we finally get Madigan Wicked's story and if you love strong women you're going to Love Mads. Madigan has kept her heart closed off for years and no one knows why but that all changes with one simple statement "That was a powerful story. Slow it down and your words will have a bigger impact." They were the first words Tobias Riggs uttered to her and they were spot on the money about the song she just performed at her family's bar, she knew he was right but no one else would ever criticizes her so she was intrigued.

One night of fun turns into more but neither Tobias nor Madigan are looking for anything more especially with their pasts, but you know what they say about love...it comes when you aren't looking.

This book came at a perfect time because it allowed me to escape reality for a while, I needed to take a break from everyday stresses and lose myself in a fictional world and I always love getting lost in Melissa Foster's world, so like I said it was a great time for me to read THE WICKED TRUTH.

I highly recommend this book to anyone that enjoys STEAMY Contemporary Romances, ONS to More Romances, Motorcycle Club Romances, Strong Females and Dirty Talking Men or Large Family Romances.

Happy Reading!!!

“It’s all you, angel. You’ve got some kind of magic in that heart of yours, and I don’t want to imagine a single day without you by my side.”

This is the fourth book in The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside and I’m absolutely in love with Madigan & Tobias. I’m obsessed with the world Melissa has created in her books and how they all connected to other series.

Madigan Wicked is a musician, puppeteer, and a greeting card designer. She isn’t looking for love but she doesn’t mind looking at the hot stranger that been coming to her family’s bar. Tobias Riggs is a mechanic with a past and he isn’t looking for relationship because he doesn’t plan on staying long. Tobias and Madigan may not have the best first meeting when she asked for his opinion on her singing and he gave it but that was definitely when the sparks started to fly between the two. When more chance encounters happen, they can’t seem to keep their hands off each other. Their chemistry from the first moment they meet was electric and only grows the intense more time they spend together. They both agreed they weren’t looking for anything serious but they both kept coming back for more and even though they both agreed to casual it’s started to become more. So when her brother’s reveal Tobias’s secrets, they both need some space to think and even when they’re apart they still can’t stop thinking about each other. When Tobias comes back to the Cape & finally tells Madigan everything she forgives him and they get back together. Their relationship and connection becomes stronger then ever.
Tobias is able to work through his demons and fixes relationships he never thought he could with the help of Madigan & her family. I loved that they both were able to help and heal each other from their past and find love.
They most definitely didn’t disappoint in the spice department, Tobias with his dirty mouth was everything. All their scene with live in my head rent free especially the cove & restaurant scenes.🥵🥵

I can’t wait for Blaine’s book!

I would recommend if you like:
🧡Strangers to Lovers
🧡Ex-con Hero/ Musician heroine
🧡Found Family
🧡Dirty talking hero
🧡Spicy Scenes🔥

A special thanks to Melissa Foster and her team for giving me an ARC!!!

The Wicked Truth is the 4th installment in the "Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside" series that is written by Melissa Foster. I had such a blast with this one here. I will say that I absolutely adored what was delivered in this novel and was well worth the wait. I knew for these siblings that the baby sister would have to have a special story and there definitely was a special one written here.

The story begins with our hero and heroine meeting in a bar, sparks fly between them but then her brothers get involved. They later find each other again and their relationship kicks off but there are secrets that Tobias is keeping from Madigan. As their connection becomes more prominent, the secrets come out and Madigan will have to determine what is truly important and if she is willing to defend the man she loves against those that would tear them apart even if that means stretching the limits of her relationship with her family.

Melissa Foster definitely delivers on all fronts with this one. I absolutely adored the layers of vulnerability that is delivered. The heroine was such brilliant for me. I loved that she fights for the hero. When all the secrets come out, I was impressed in how she reacted to the situation and stood up to her family for Tobias.

The Wicked Truth was such a superb read and I had such a blast with this one here. It was truly delightful. I couldn't seem to get enough of this one here. Melissa Foster definitely delivered in all the feels, portraying the depths of human compassion and the growths in their relationship that was stunning in its execution of passion and true love.

No denying the truth of the heart
The Wicked Truth: Madigan Wicked (The Wickeds: Dark Knights of Bayside Book 4) by Melissa Foster blew me away with this amazing romance story and all the characters within, but especially Madigan and Tobias. Two bruised hearts with off the charts chemistry, compelling personalities and the necessary ingredients needed to help heal each other.
Both Madigan and Tobias burrowed into my heart from the first. They have both suffered losses and heartache. As an unfortunate result, both are determined to keep their hearts closed off and guarded.
I just adore Madigan! She is young and bright, smart and confident, a savvy businesswoman and socially engaged. She is so lucky to have a loving, supportive family even if they get in her way from time to time. While Madigan claims she isn't letting the past rule her, she totally is! And you know that old phrase, 'she doth protest too much'? She really does protest too much. The same could be said for Tobias. He has so much turmoil to work through and he tries and tries and tries to keep his distance, to end the non-relationship with Madigan. But his heart makes that impossible and no one can keep him from making things right.
And the two of them together? Cue fireworks, spontaneous combustion, dynamite, chemical reaction. Tobias is an amazing dirty talker in all the very best ways and he has totally met his match in Madigan! She teases as good as she gets and thrives on pushing Tobias to lose his control on her. Truly, the chemistry between these two is palpable and downright magical!
As for the plot, it's all the things fans of this author love. A deep dive into emotions and past experiences that motivates their behaviors in the present. Through the dual perspective, it becomes clear they both secretly long for something more; with each other and from life. Longing glances, negative self-talk and protesting too much, just to name a few. Through the ups and downs of this emerging love, Tobias and Madigan begin to lean on, rely on and heal each other. It's such a beautiful thing. And the whole family aspect is especially sweet and comforting not to mention welcoming and needed.
Overall, nothing or no one could prevent this epic love from growing, developing and evolving into a really wonderful love story that is just perfect for Madigan and Tobias. They have a long and winding road ahead, but surrounded by a massively supportive family to cheer them on along the way of their HEA.
I read an ARC of this book and voluntarily share my review.

I don't even know where to start with this.
Yet again, this incredible author has blown me away with her words!
I loved every second of this unmissable romance.

Madigan is the type of heroine I love. She is fiesty and independent but with the softest heart. She loves with her whole soul.
I adored everything about this character, and Tobias was the perfect hero for her.

This is possibly the sexiest story I've read by the author, Tobias definitely gets an A* for dirty talk, but aside from that, this story really does punch you in the heart with the feels.
I found myself getting choked up as much as I did swooning.

Their love story is not a simple one by any means, but by god, it is worth it.
These two have undeniable chemistry, fire in their vains for one another, and an unexplainable bond that can not be ignored.

I highly, HIGHLY recommend it.

Is anyone surprised I love Melissa’s newest book? I’m not. I’ve never rated her books less than 4⭐️ and I recommend them to everyone! The Wicked Truth is no exception.

Tobias and Madigan both want no strings attached fun. Tobias is running from the guilt he feels about his past. Madigan is running from a previous she doesn’t want to feel again. But of course, “just fun” never stays that way.

One of the things I really liked about this book was the fact that the “breakup scene” happens at about 45% of the way through the book. This is the moment that the main characters realise that they have gone past a fling and both have feelings. Things happen, which cause them to “break up” however when they can then both admit they have feelings for each other they come back together. I really liked this because it meant I had a good 40% of the book where I just got to have them as a couple which was really nice.

I will say one of the side characters really pissed me off *cough Blaine cough* I thought he was being so unfair to Madigan and I kinda wanted her to smack him ngl 😂 But as always the family and friends elements in this book are so special and I love reading about this huge, protective, close-knit family.

Cannot wait for the next book!

4.5⭐

Melissa Foster is admittedly an author I don't read enough off and in a way it showed in The Wicked Truth. As its packed full of characters, relationships and familial connections that I didn't know anything about and that did slightly diminish my enjoyment of what is a very good story.

As The Wicked Truth brings together two characters Tobias and Madigan who's hearts have been battered and bruised and who feel they are better off alone.

But their connection, chemistry and experiences make them the perfect foils for each other. And Ms Foster really knows how to bring the feels. Yet, still make the story engaging, fun and sexy too, and it was definitely sexy!

And with a clearly well-developed ensemble cast of characters. Who are there to offer support and guidance. This was a very enjoyable story. That definitely works if read as part of a series rather than a standalone.

I was kindly provided with an ARC in exchange for an honest review

I LOVED Madigan and Tobias so much. Their story was the perfect mixture of emotion and spice.

Madigan is over dating. She had her heart broke and she wasn’t about to let anyone do that again to her. Tobias has some secrets and he isn’t one to let anyone close two him. However, they are both drawn to each other and their chemistry is undeniable from the very start. They both knock down the walls that have been built over time.

Can we just talk about the chemistry!? It was off the charts. And Tobias….that man is a dirty talker and I LOVED it. I loved their flirty and dirty texts.

The entire Wicked family is so much fun and I loved seeing them all together…even if some of the brothers and cousins were getting on my nerves with how they were acting and how overprotective they are, but how they act also makes sense to a degree.

If you’re looking for an emotional, friends to lovers, small town, spicy romance this is one to check out.

The Wicked Truth by Melissa Foster is book 4 in The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside Series. This is the story of Madigan 'Mads' and Tobias. Madigan has been hurt before and has closed herself off to a relationship with someone. But, she still fills the heart squeeze when she sees those around her finding love. Tobias too has his guards up but is alone too. Both are people that just sleep with someone once and move on. So, that is what they thought when they hooked up but neither could stop their attraction. Enjoyed this book and I highly recommend Ms. Foster's writing.

4.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

Madigan is confident and driven. She knows what she wants. She's tough, sassy, and a genuine soul.

Tobias has a heart of gold….and a dirty mouth. He's also grumpy, a trait that I seem to fall for in book boyfriends.

Madigan and Tobias have heartbreaking pasts. For different reasons, neither want a relationship. Fate keeps pulling these two together. They can't deny their chemistry and decide to have a no-strings friends-with-benefits relationship. I loved these two together. I adored the times they spent together "not dating" and getting to know each other.

This book has lots of spice, plenty of swoony moments, tension, and healing.

As always with Melissa Foster, you get a fantastic group of supporting characters that add to the story and give it an authentic feel.

The Wicked Truth was the fourth book in The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside series by Melissa Foster. It was also one of many in her Love In Bloom series.

I’ve taken a break from formal reviews for a while, but a couple quick thoughts: I loved everything about Madigan and Tobias. I also loved the storyline and the family bonding. It was emotional at times with tons of life lessons but also humorous, fun and steamy. I totally can’t wait for more.

Madigan and Tobias are adorable. I love their chemistry and the bond they share to assist them in getting them to the future they didn’t even realize they not only wanted but needed. I loved this story and devoured each page.
