Nicely written
Reagan Davis' cozy mysteries are a cut above the rest. Her characters are likeable and believable. Her main character, Megan, is a knitting enthusiast. She is in the process of an amicable divorce. And she has the odd talent of finding dead bodies. This is a 3 volume set

I pick up a lot of books from facebook ads. I think it's where I got this suggestion. It was a good one. I've really enjoyed the story about the lady who is becoming the knit store owner, divorcing her husband and dating the new investigator. The stories are good. They are very realistic. Nobody is ever perfect but I felt like the people in these book are grown ups living grown up lives with humor and meeting challenges like grown ups. I found it refreshing and I would love to have friends like these. I've just downloaded the Kindle Unlimited set of books 10 - 12. Hoping for more.

Book 1: Knit One, Murder Two was a great read. There were many twists and turns about what was happening in Harmony Lake. It had me guessing throughout the book trying to figure out who the murderer was and I couldn’t decide. The relationships in this book were terrific. The camaraderie was outstanding; how concerned they were for each other, the genuine friendship and the love they shared for one another. Since Eric was new in town and no one was willing to divulge information, I liked how Meg shared information she gathered while talking with other people and how she came to trust Eric. I can see a relationship starting to blossom here. I definitely recommend this book to all who enjoy cozy mysteries. This is the beginning of a new series with Meg and the others living in Harmony Lake.
Book 2: After reading Neighbourhood Swatch and Knit One Murder Two, I was interested in continuing reading the story to see how Meg, Eric and the other characters developed throughout the story. I was not disappointed. I liked the friendship between all the characters and the plot was very interesting. I thought I knew who the murderer was but was surprise who the murderer actually was. Highly recommend this book and the series.

Reading through the story, it told a little about the lives of the characters; about Jill, Vanessa, the relationship between Megan and Adam and Megan and Eric. The relationships in this book were believable. The camaraderie was outstanding; how they had each other’s back. To me, it showed genuine friendship and the love they shared for each other. I also liked the portrayal of Adam in the book; making him a decent guy who was willing to help Megan and all the folks.
I received this book as a beta reader for an honest opinion.

The location of the mysteries is Harmony Lake, Canada. I listened to this book when given the opportunity. I also read it with my prime account. I liked the progression of the first three books in relation to character development for the continuing characters in the story. The first book has Megan working part time in a knit shop, going through a divorce and solving a mystery.
Book two has Megan purchasing the knit shop, and Connie is the part time worker, Detective Eric lives in Megan’s upstairs apartment over the store. There is a land dispute involved in the mystery in book two.
Book Three deals with aspects of domestic violence and everyone is trying to keep the women in the story safe.
I am looking forward to book 4. The narrator just enhanced the stories that I read.

I mean, ok, these books were free with Prime, so how could I resist? It being my knitting time of year probably increased my interest somewhat, plus the reasonable reviews, hopefully Canada.... Plus, three books in one!
Overall I thought there were some interesting points. The responses of the protagonist in these early series books were somewhat more realistic than many cozy detective responses might be. I can see the set up with the cast, with all the important roles filled (detective, best friend, police contact, etc). I appreciated the realistic knitting bits.

Great serie, wonderful books!
A Knitorious Murder Mysteries Collection : Books 1 - 3 by Reagan Davis
Great stories of a small town called Harmony Lakes with wonderful characters in it, that have turned to feel like family to me. I loved listening to them and would like to go visit and be able to shop in Knitorius.
I've been able to stitch while listening to this series and have really loved this first 3 books.
This series has turned to be one of my favorite cozy mysteries books, and are so fun and endearing just as how cozy mysteries have to be.
Just don't hesitate in buying this collection; you wont regret it.

Knitorious
This is a true cozy. This may have been written for Hallmark. This was a series my wife obtained and I tried. Clean, easy to read, and with little suspense. I only read the first of three, but not interesting enough to move to the next. The writing is not bad, but did not inspire me personally to read more. My wife, however, loves them. Thanks for providing that gift to her.

Enjoyed this series
The characters were likeable, the mysteries were good, and aside from the strangeness of Megan's relationship with her ex, the stories were well written. They even made me wish I knit. Love any book with pets.
Megan, the heroine and amateur sleuth, is navigating a few domestic changes in her life when she encounters her first dead body. Daughter is off to college, separated from her husband, working at the knitting store and spending time with friends in their small town where nothing dangerous ever happens is what she expects. Becoming a suspect in the murder of a man who rubs people the wrong way, not so much. With the help of her friends and the new detective, she solves the first murder then finds herself stumbling onto a few more. Life in her small town just got more interesting, and not all in a good way.

What a wonderful read - the perfect cozy mystery if you are wanting a clean read - no swearing, no sex, lots of laughter and twists and turns. I got the first 3 books in a set. Liked them so much I have purchased the next one in the series. Well done, Reagan!!

I thoroughly enjoyed these three books. The pacing was great. I never felt the need to read ahead. The violence is limited. The characters are nice, kind people for the most part.

I love to read and knit, so this book is right up my alley. Our yarn shop is doing a book club, with a mystery knit along. This series is our books for the year. I am loving the series, as I am a sucker for cozy mysteries. There is some family life issues, a murder here and there, and a little bit of romance beginning, between Megan and the new detective. This is a small-town setting, where everyone knows everybody, and pitches in to help when needed. This is the first books I have read by Reagan Davis, and love them. If the patterns she creates, are as good as her books, then they are sure to be good. Love that there are pattern links, but not included in the books. I will have to investigate to see if they are online. Off to books 4-6.

understand and Knitting
These stories are quite good. Each one has a murder and Eric, the local detective of Harmony Lake, and Megan, the owner of Knitorious, work together to find the killers.
Each story is intriguing, full of small town vibes, and full of suspects. The final murderer is not who you would think.

good story
I’m enjoying this series, except for the use of present tense, which I find distracting. It’s a pity, because I like the stories and the character development so far.
The two themes in this story, dementia and domestic violence were sensitively handled.
