Shuichi and Claire thought they were preparing to take the fight to Kaito, but instead, he brought it to them. His minions stormed the school, massacring innocent students. To save their friends, and possibly the entire world, Shuichi and Claire have no choice but to kill the boy who collected one hundred coins. But will their incredible new fusion be enough?
Volume 11 of Gleipnir takes a step back for me. We get a big, cool fight, though at times hard to follow what is exactly happening, and then things begin to feel like they wrap up. But the last two issues of this volume throw a curve ball and keep things going. It felt jolting and I do not follow the logic. There is some problematic consent stuff happening too. I am frustrated after reading this, and that sums up a lot of my experience with this whole series.
The story jumps around like a crazed energizer bunny. The goal of the story is reached in this volume, but the manga was probably popular, so it warranted some padding.
It was good loved the action and fantastic art the only real negative was how jarring the pacing went, it was at 100% and then all of a sudden went to a standstill.
