The story jumps around like a crazed energizer bunny. The goal of the story is reached in this volume, but the manga was probably popular, so it warranted some padding.

In the wake of the massacre at Shuichi's school, his and Claire's ultimate transformation tries to end the destruction of the world by fighting Kaito. I am so glad the creators chose to give it a female form. And the extra touch with the katana is bad-a$$. The fight is spectacular. Both sides receive and dish out some serious hits, but Shuichi-Claire come out as victorious. Without Kaito's magic, Honoka disintegrates as well. That was easy...

Or isn't Honoka defeated? Aiko's pigtailed little sister comes into play to save the world.

It was good loved the action and fantastic art the only real negative was how jarring the pacing went, it was at 100% and then all of a sudden went to a standstill.
