I have enjoyed this series with a great ending and look forward to a new series by the author.

They arrive at the manor finding a dead body, a screaming maid, and the daughter leaving the country. An arrest is made.
Four weeks later on a Friday night 🌙 there is a party at the B&B, Jerome proposes to Eva! The end!
I would highly recommend this series and author to 👍 readers of romantic relationship with friends mystery novels 👍🔰. 2023 👒😀😡💘
I read this entire series (or what’s currently published) in two days via audiobook.
While I wish there were more Key West staples within this series such as what are included in Lucy Burdette’s cozy series, I really enjoyed this series.
Quick audiobooks to get into and especially if you speed up past 1x speed
A wonderful closing book to the series. Very good - especially that fluff.
Only reason for the four stars is the fact there are grammatical and punctuation errors throughout this book. Maybe if you were to go through and edit, it could be 4.5⭐. Errors were found all throughout the series but I feel it was the worst in this particular book.
Other than that, I loved this short novel and only wish there was one more. :D
This is a sixth and last book in one of my favourite serie. I enjoyed reading it a lot. It is nicely written and has pleasant atmosphere. Great ending too. Looking forward to read other series by Danielle Collins as I like the way she writes.
This is the last of the Bed and Breakfast series. It was a fun read and everything ended up well, what’s not to like? Her characters were fun, delightful, and interesting. I’m not a romance person, but if you like the romance aspect this book will fill the bill.
The end of this book had me sobbing. Danielle Collins has written an amazing series of cozy mystery books in which she allows us to bond with the main characters.
Wonderful characters, interesting cozy mystery and a great ending!
Murder and Misdirection is the 6th book in Danielle Collins' Florida Keys Bed & Breakfast Cozy Mystery series and it was wonderful. It sounds like this might be the last book in the series or at least for awhile which is disappointing but the ending tied everything up very nicely. Eva Stewart owns Keys B & B. Eva is also working towards having a PI license. Her boyfriend is Detective Jerome Makos. In this book, a son of a friend of Eva's dies. It is odd because he is young but there doesn't seem to be an obvious cause of death. Eva agrees to look into it for her friend. There is also a group of college students causing trouble. It was interesting but a bit odd. Eva going everywhere with Jerome when he is investigating defies reality but it works and makes the story flow smoothly.. The characters are what makes this series so enjoyable! Eva's book club members add a lot to the story. The ending tied up a lot of threads in the series and has a happy ending. #DanielleCollins #MurderAndMisdirection #FloridaKeysBed&BreakfastCozyMystery
Great book!!!! Sorry the series ended just as Eva and Jerome were getting together. This book starts out with Eva and Jerome finally having a romantic dinner at Eva's friends restaurant " By Lamplight" owner Maxine du Frond, A French inspired unique Key West Flair. They try so hard to have quiet moments together, but murder doesn't know not to happen then!! There is a scream from the back and off goes Jerome and Eva following, there in the alley stands Maxine over a body. Who? Why? And is Maxine a suspect? This lets loose a string of complex characters and their stories. Jerome and Eva have their hands full with where to start after they find out who the young man is. It has a bored rich man and his twisted pranks, greed, cheating boyfriend, A creepy accident, and a manipulative rich young woman. You won't be disappointed in the story, but it's the end of the series, I hope there will be a new adventure for Eva and Jerome in a new series.
I have finally read all of the books of this series, thus far. I had bought all 6 books at once, so I could continue through at my own pace. If I had just purchased the first one and read it I don’t know if I would have gone any further. The characters are just what I like in an cozy murder mystery. The stories are fun. I love the location. And while I can see a vast improvement in grammar and spelling I cannot help but think these books could have been so much more with a great editor, or any editor, for that matter. I am not sure if I will continue with the series or not. I guess it depends on what else I find.
This is the sixth book in the series. Eva and Jerome have their first date at a nice Key West restaurant were a murder takes place in the alley. Needless to say, end of date. Jerome is on the case.
This book wraps up the series that had plenty of following and story material to continue. We wrap up the death of Uncle Stanley, seal the relationship between Eva and Sarah, and learn of the new beginnings of Anton and Sarah and Jerome and Eva.
I listened to this book from Hoopla through my library. I actually rate this 3.5 but there are no half points in this rating system. Fast paced read, I enjoyed it.
When a college student is found dead just outside the back door of Maxine's restaurant, she is accused of murder. But when poison mushrooms are found in his to-go box of risotto, the police arrest her son, who had access to the mushrooms. Then, several other students confess to the crime. Eva, owner of the B&B, is in the process of getting her P.I. license and begins her own investigation. The twists and turns in this book made it well worth reading. I loved how the characters cooperated to ultimately find the murderer.
WOW!!!! I could not put down this book nor any in the the series. Read the entire series the past three days. Excited at every turn in each case. Thought I knew the outcomes but I didn’t. Each book had a surprise ending for me. The storyline of each book held a lot of excitement and mystery. I enjoyed the Florida Keys Bed and Breakfast Cozy Mystery set very much.
An interesting read. After several false leads, Eva and the MMBC figured out the culprit. This book has some intrigue, some back story, and some romance. Unfortunately, the poor proofreading of this book was very distracting, and I almost did not finish the book. When the main character's name is misspelled more than once, and words are left out of sentences, it makes one wonder. Hopefully the next book will be more carefully edited.
Lukijana aida Reluzco.
An unmotivated and unusual murder brings out the sleuthing talents of the MMBC, the murder mystery book club. Eva and Jerome each working the clues to find the culprit. As the plot thickens, so does the romance in the atmosphere. The story is skillfully woven. The ending is a bit light .
This book (and the rest of the series) was amazing! It’s hard not to fall in love with all of the characters. Each one is so unique and adds to the story. The case in this book was great! It was interesting and fun to solve with them. All the little pieces of stories lightly discussed in previous books was wrapped up beautifully. The ending was great! Sad to see this series end!
Not as mysterious or thrilling but still a good one
I enjoyed this series a lot. Though book 6 wasn't my all-time favorite because it wasn't as thrilling or mind boggling as others in the series, I still enjoyed it. I liked the friendships that were built and the ending was somewhat unexpected but greatly appreciated.
As expected, this was a cozy ending to a cozy mystery series. It has enough of an open end that there is a possibility of more in the future, but I don't feel like I have a lot of questions left about the character.
This book was very enjoyable. I am glad I found this series. I look forward to other books by this author
A great ending to a gifted series, that hopefully might add a couple extra books at a later time! All these characters have been so much fun to be involved along with great mysteries 💜
Mystery and romance all in one. All the characters have different personalities which bring suspense and humor together. Key West sounds like a great place to visit.
Seems that Eva and her MMBC friends are at it again. When a young man falls dead in an alley of an another friends restaurant they go on to high gear to help Jerome and the rest of the police force to find the killer. I believe it's one of my favourite books. Read!!!
I devoured these six books in three days. I strongly recommend this series as a wonderful summer read. I like the diverse characters and unpredictable variety of story lines.
So good! I love all the characters and setting….the author is able to transport the readers to the Keys and feel like we are part of the MMBC. Sad that this is the end…but what a great ending!!
The ebook version has some pretty distracting typos :/ like spelling Eva Ava for a page or so... not sure what happened to the editing there. Pleasant wrap up of the series. A little forced mystery wise
This.is a really good series and I hope there are more. Great characters and story development and just enough backstory in each in case you did not read the last but not so much that had to.glaze over to the new parts.
So enjoyed this series of books. So entertaining that after reading the first book I was hooked and continued reading until I had read the whole series. Love the idea of the murder book club and wish I had one to join.
What a great collection of stories. There's enough mystery keep you interested and guessing. I like the part where the characters are older. These stories make you want to run right out and stay at your own bed and breakfast.
I have finished this cozy mystery series set in the Florida Keys. I grew to like all the characters and the questioning techniques and clues dropped were well researched and placed. This is a great summer escape book!
Enjoyed this series and the final book was a great read. Liked how all the characters got a bigger part and you got a sense of who they are. Loved the final chapter.
