Women have loved men in uniform for as long as love stories have been around but that isn't always easy. The type of guy that goes headfirst into war, into a burning building, the man who is first on the scene....is also hard to love. As they have difficult schedules, emotions, and demons.
I enjoyed "Kerrigan" by LC Taylor. Kerrigan wears the badge but still carried the memories of 9/11 with him. And he needs to decide if he is capable of making Lorelei his permanent future. OVER 18 on this one. Then I loved "Incendiary" By Kaigan Hale. Marcus and Nicole are hot....like we need a fireman hot.
Get a glimpse of love stories from the men and women affected still years later, after America's most tragic events. Mature Readers only.

A fantastic set of very different stories revolving around the heroes in every day life.
An enjoyable collection that saw some remarkable authors write with passion for such a good cause.
The variety is amazing with each plot differing in ways that keep you glued and interested in each character's journey to love.
There are very deserving endings for these heroes and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing this.
Emotions are definitely heightened during the books and I thought they were written with great sensitivity.

What a wonderful collection of romantic stories! I loved each and every tale in this anthology. My to be read list multiplied exponentially because I now want to read every book these talented authors have written. I am delighted a second volume will be coming out later this year. No only can't I wait to read more amazing stories I want to help support wildland firefighters.

Heroes with Heat and Heart is an anthology that centers around different responders and their stories. This anthology brought both heat and heart just like it says. These stories were quick and easy to read. Every one of them left me wanting so much more. You get second chances, instant attraction, and so much more! The banter, the spice, and the smut were all so good. I thoroughly enjoyed this anthology and recommend reading this book. Did I mention, all proceeds are being donated? I’d jump on it!

Each story in this book were amazing. It made me get the other books from the authors from the book. I loved loved loved everything each one and all the characters chemistry was off the charts. I couldn't put it down till the end. you are going to love it

These books were just great. I've read some of them before and caught up with the rest of them. I really enjoyed this collections.
All well written, edge of your seat stories that were gripping and involving.
Something should also be said that the proceeds for this collection sales go to a very worthy cause.

WOW! I have read other works by some of the authors but not all. The collection goes to such a good cause but a painful one to remember. I will never forgot that day or the sacrifices made that day or because of that day. The heroes that showed up that day never quit or wavered. These stories are incredible and I enjoyed every one in this heart warming and emotional collection. The stories are nicely developed, well written and realistic. I love the characters!

My review is over Brave Enough To Love. Lou is on S.W.A.T. and dreamed a hero. He does not feel like a hero as he and his wife Katie have been trying to have a baby with no success. Je feels like a failure and that he can not do the one thing she wants. He feels their marriage is in shambles. This book is about Lou finding his inner strength to be volunerable. Great short storybwithin this great book. Read to find out what happens to Lou and what goes on in the other books in the set.

This is a great anthology which is in honor of the 20th anniversary of 9/11. Each story is different but they are all about first responders who are brave, intelligent, smokin' smexy hot. These stories will pull at your heartstrings, have your misty-eyed and then reaching for something cold to drink to cool off the heat. This is a lovely collection of stories which are all well written, have intense and engaging story-line and characters you fall in love with along the way. A definite RECOMMEND READ!!!

This is a beautiful collection of stories written by some brilliant authors. Each story is about a different couple and everything that they have to go through to get there happy ending. The characters and storyline pulled you in and kept you on the edge of your seat wondering what else would happen and you are definitely not disappointed. Some of these authors are new to me but I look forward to reading more of their books in the future. I definitely recommend you read this and and will definitely not be disappointed.

To honor the 20th anniversary of 9/11 these incredibly generous authors put together this wonderful anthology that the proceeds benefit the 9/11 Memorial and Museum to preserve the sacrifices made on that tragic day that we should never forget. What makes this collection even better in my eyes is that all the stories are about First Responders who are a very unique group of heroes. A great set of stories by some very good Authors, most of them I have not read but after reading this set I will be looking to see what else they have out. This compilation, created to commemorate the 20th anniversary of 9/11, features short stories with action, adventure, humour, wit, banter, love, loss, all different walks of life of first responders and HEA’s.
It’s a thoroughly enjoyable read although very emotional to read in places. Lots of tissues but lots of well written romance. Brilliant.

Charity Anthology

Thanks to the Authors for supporting the 911 Museum cause.

Interesting compilation of First Responder and military romance stories. Though not all the stories are directly related to the 911 terrorist events, they’re all fairly well written in the Romance genre.

I’d give 5-stars to LoLo Paige for the best crafted tale, Alaskan Dawn: adventure and romance as a prequel to her Alaska Spark novel.

To the rest, 4-stars to the other authors. Some of the editing leaves a bit to be desired. Perhaps the stories were pulled together quickly, with no overall editing done, in order to meet publication deadlines.
