Let's start with the good
1. Definitely a book on hope
2. Shows how alternative careers are a good choice as long as you're passionate about it
3. Sharing the stories of mega intenret celebrities from when they were no one is a great way to humanize them
4. Behind every overnight success is the years and months of toil in getting there

What didn't work for me
1. It almost made it seem like being a creator on the internet is the next step in your career if you wanna become successful
2. Over playing the role of passion under playing the role of luck. Like for instance, everyone covered here started in the first half of 2010, and were in the right place st the right time when Jio helped make the internet accessible on every device, that's luck
3. Despite glamourising the creator economy, and going it solo, many of them covered here aspire to make it to traditional channels. Like Bollywood and mass media which are typically thought of as non digital. Because lets face it that's where the most money typically still flows
4. Made me personally feel little because I'm not funny, nor am I creatively gifted to write my own songs, or choreograph a dance sequence or cook up a storm. I am super logical and slightly analytical, which after reading this made me feel banal and pedestrian

But hey, maybe I wasn't the target audience for this book.

This book is a must-read, especially in this era, where creator economy has just scratched the surface and will boom in the future. From Ashish chanchalani to prajakta Koli , from Bhuvan bam to Kabita Singh , from dancers team naach to youtubers Abhi and niyu and Ranveer Allahabadia , each and everyone have risen from scratch and made to what they are today . Booming digital stars talks about 11 digital stars across India who have gained a reputation in the digital content creation industry. Some of my favourite stories in the book were of Bhuvan Bam, Ujjwal Chaurasia and Nikunj Lotia.

Both the authors point out ~"Though the size of the Creator economy is humongous and the available opportunities are immense, the chances of creators getting lost in the crowd are higher than the chances of getting noticed."

The book focuses on the importance of persistence and hard work of individuals who made it big starting from the scratch. They also highlight that these creators have begun replacing traditional celebrities such as film stars and athletes in brand endorsements and promotions.

It's a known fact that the industry is expanding every year. Also, with our attention and time vested in big and small screens, this industry will get even bigger in the coming years. However, the challenge is to sustain in the long run, something that the creators will have to look forward to.

I highly recommend this book to someone who has an interest in knowing about the industry and also to enthusiasts who wish to start their content creation journey. Though the authors have deep dived into the journey of each creator,however, I would have loved to know about the journey of creation of one video from start till the end. Also an addition , it would have been great if the authors would have included a creator who focuses on personal finance which is a fast selling topic these days!

Book has everything about their achievements, their life's low, details of struggling days, people who doubted them and supported them, their beliefs and more. Each star's journey is unique, inspiring and unconventional as the field they have chosen/ pursued. So grab the book to know more about each of them.

Authors have beautifully penned each stars journey, they have narrated ups and lows in right proportion keeping readers engrossed, done total justice to each of them. Big takeaway from the book is author's take on each star in conclusion section and each star's perspective /belief/learnings at the end of each chapter.

I picked this book out of curiosity, I hadn't heard about any of the creator's / digital star's names except for Abhi and Niyu. Now after finishing am glad to pick this book, browsed for contents/videos created by the creators mentioned in this book and now I am a fan to each one of them.

These all names are of YouTube creators and content creators who have made our lockdown some less boring through their work. This book consists of 11 stories of 11 creators and all of them are well established.

What can we learn from their journey? A hell lot of things for sure. Their journey consists of Failure and breakdowns. This book talks about the size of economy this industry has or will create in near future. The amount of opportunities is immense and how they are getting a public demand in the market. People always take a step back when they are told to do some thing out of the box in India. But these people have shown a ray of hope in such a dark times.

Speaking of this book then it's a compilation of stories about these creators. The cover of the book is the most attractive thing. The author of the book encourages individuals to follow his/her passion. For example:- if you want to become a YouTuber, then definitely go for it. But, remember it's very important to learn the art of hard work. Also, uniqueness is what matters to let you achieve what you always wanted to.

The author had drawn the reader's attention towards the innumerable distractions available in today's world. In order to achieve your dreams in the future, you must be ready to sacrifice your desire to enjoy in the present.

I rated the book 5 upon 5 because the book highlights 'Focus'. Focus is utterly important to achieve something. The context within the boon is highly impactful for every youth.

Pros:
1) I was looking forward to reading this book as it talks about the journey of some of my personal favourite digital creators like Bhuvan Bham, Ashish Chanchlani to name a few. The author has done justice to quell my curiosity as I got better insights into the path taken by these creative souls.

2) The author has given a 360 degree view of the digital industry works. It is not a magic of posting a few videos to get success. You need to be consistent with your content for months to be able to cultivate your following. The author has given a realistic picture of how things work.

3) I also felt this book to be very inspirational. If you have the talent and the 'creative keeda' in you then an alternate career opportunity in the digital field can guarantee success.

Cons:
I felt that the author glorified the digital industry a bit much. There is a huge influx of digital creators who are making great content as well as 'Tom Dick & Harry' content but everyone is not successful because they have a certain talent.

I would definitely recommend this book for people seeking inspiration to follow their passion especially in the digital field.

This book has bought up with some stories of the influencers we see today getting a huge popularity through YouTube or Instagram. Every individual has its own success story . In this book we can see the story of Bhuvam Bham how he established a platform , what were his low points and many other influencers who have made a position in the digital world with their consistent hardwork , patience and giving attitude. I also came to know about the facts which I wasn't knowing about these influencers .

The book talks about the story of all these eleven people and how they worked hard to achieve their goals. In this age of digital creators, where everything is online, the author duo talks about the ups and downs of being a digital creator and what it took to become successful in the industry.

The stories were truly inspiring. It makes me want to try hard for what I want. The title piqued my interest and I don't regret reading this amazing book. My favorite part of the book is learning about the story of Bhuvan, as I'm a fan of BB vines. It was interesting to know more about how he worked hard to pave his way into this digital industry. The language of the book is easy to understand.

We all know these creators and love them a lot. Some of my favs are-

Bhuvan Bam - Brilliant actor, comedian, and a very good singer.

Prajakta Koli- I love how simple and real she is. She worked so hard to achieve her goal.

Ashish Chanchlani - He is also a sweet and lovable content creator.

And many more.

The book talks about their journeys:- failures, dreams, struggles, hardworking, efforts, and everything. Every content creator's journey is remarkable and inspiring.

Learnings-
We can learn from their journeys to not give up so easily. If you want to achieve something in any kind of career, you must work hard. In every profession, there's no substitute for hard work.

This book is so inspiring. Must read for everyone especially youngsters. The language used is simple and understandable. I like the cover so much and the writing style of this book is incredible.

This is a very interesting and motivating book . It will help you a lot with the immense information and guidance to become a social media star.

One of the most fascinating job nowadays that all teenagers wish to have is of a content creator , influencer or a youtuber . The life they live and work they do is so much fun and everyone desire to be one .

But like all other jobs this is also very difficult infact more you need a lot of time , energy , consistency , hard work and determination to achieve success. It's definitely not easy but if you dream big you can surely turn it into reality .

The book Booming Digital Stars is a journey of 11 digital superstars from scratch to a place where they rule over millions of people across the world. They don't have any godfather, what they had was their talent which they channelised in the right direction. Personally, I'm great fan of Prajakta Koli, Kabita ma'am and people like them which made me pick up this book because I wanted to know their journey, their struggles. "Hard work pays off" from making videos on phones by holding in hands to having a studio now, is a great achievement really.

This book have journey of 11 digital starts. At the end of each chapter there's conclusion which will teach you something, the whole book is very inspiring. The story narration is flawless. The book which I completed reading is based on very different topic that I enjoyed reading a lot. The book Booming Digital is about the content creator and famous ones with whom we all are aware and we know all of them.

I know almost all of them , and I usually see there content and posts at social media but I wasn't aware that the reason behind there success was so much tough.

Firstly I got so much of information from it and I got so much of ideas to be creative and innovative. The book has everything about them and one can get so much motivation .

The book has total of 11 chapter or different 11 creators and the author has done so much of research after it. The book is so much of informative. The book is really good and unique one to read and can be good pick for everyone.
The book is good source of motivation and inspiration. The theme has been choosen wisely.

These people believed in themselves, worked day and night for their goals, and were dedicated to their passion. Their life journey was not easy but it was their constant efforts and sleepless nights that made them what they are today.

This book is written in a very simple manner. The author has mentioned everything in a very systematic order. Along with this, he has very well discussed the lives of these eleven stars like Bhuvan Bham, Prajakta Kohli, Ashish Chanchalani, and many more. I liked the cover. The title of the book is totally relevant. This non-fictional read is full of knowledge and is extremely inspiring.

Booming digital stars is written by Harsh Pamnani. There's  a lot to learn through the book, through the stories, through the characters,  through their lives, through their working ways and how they evolved over the years. The narrations has been done in an easy vocabulary. The world of content creators is vast, not all of them gets the fame and get their name shiny. But not all of them are lost too!! It's all upto your will of never giving up, working as hard as you can and being updated.

I enjoyed reading this book, it's amazing.
I caught many new things, good things, I learnt various lessons,  it's a very useful book. A lot can be learnt through this one. The author has covered various  creators of YouTube, such as Bhuvan Bam, Prajakta Koli, Kabita Singh and many more, narrating their story and how they lead their lives and deal with things. Everyone wants success but no one want the failures and sacrifices that needs to be done in order to achieve success.
