“Life may be nothing more than a gift.”

The second installment in The Sorcerers Guide doesn’t disappoint. It’s just as vivid as the first book. Being transported to a world of magic with Jet and his crew is always a fun, fast-pace, and thrilling ride!

Jet and his friends are on a mission to find the second tablet and to best Shane. But alas, like every dangerous mission something goes terribly wrong. I was on the edge of my seat listening very intently as everything unfolded. I really enjoyed how the title of the book was revealed in the book. I absolutely cannot wait to see what happens next.

The narrator, Kevin Rineer did a wonderful job portraying Jet and the secondary characters. Very easy to follow along and distinguish which character is speaking.

If you enjoy YA academy fantasy with magical elements then look no further. You’re in for a fun ride and adventure.

This is not my typical book, but I very much enjoyed it. I received it through a Goodreads Giveaway and it was signed! I am very intrigued and plan to get the first book in this series and will get the books that follow as well.

The fun is getting good. Nice story twist and turns and suspense. Really liked the conflict of roles and emotions from the group.

I’m feeling very conflicted while giving this book a review! I am such a huge admirer of Path of the Phoenix and I gave that book, one of the best reviews that I ever gave last year! I was eagerly anticipating the arrival of this second book! I hate to say that I’m just a tiny bit disappointed. I’m trying to honestly, seriously!!! decide if it has to do with the brain surgery that I had and how messed up my head is or if there was just too much mumbo jumbo and magical words included in this book??? I feel like this book was more of a history lesson on what’s going on between all of the characters than there was action. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing, because we do need to know those things. I feel bad that I’m the only one that’s given it a 4 star! 😔 A 4 star isn’t bad at all! Now saying all that, I love the way the book ended and I am super EXCITED for book 3! I actually think it’s going to be the best one yet!!! The only bad part of that, is having to wait!
Thank you L. Scott for the ARC! I hope that I didn’t disappoint you with my honest review!
For some reason, it says that I read this book twice. I did not do that. I did read the first 11 chapters a few times (because I was having trouble focusing)! I’m thinking about reading it again when my head is feeling better. I really don’t want my review to be tainted by my poor health.
As always, my fellow GRers, Happy Reading and Listening! 💜🎧📚

I recieved an audiobook of L. Scott Clark's Soul of Anesidora in exchange for an honest review. The second book in a YA fantasy series that is thrilling with a good mix of intrigue and action; it makes for a fun read. The characters are also well rounded, Jet the hero has his flaws and makes mistakes which adds a more realistic feel. The audio narration was also well done. I would recommend this to both YA and fantasy fans.
