This was the first book I have read by Jerome Preisler. I enjoyed it very much. I found it a quick read and hard to put down. Just what I needed to get out of my reading slump. I like this genre and have read several Tom Clancy works. I will definitely read more of Preisler’s books and others in this series. I did think it was difficult keeping track of all the characters, but that didn’t take anything from my enjoyment of this book.
Jumps around too much, sometimes giving different characters and their subplots only a few paragraphs before jumping again. It was difficult to sustain interest with all this frenetic activity; like somebody on the internet staying only 30 seconds before jumping to a different tab and then another so that there is no sustained focus.
There is a plot and lots of action, which I liked; it just jumped around too much for me.
It took some time to sort out the characters and their roles in the story. Once I did it became much more enjoyable. I would like authors to name characters with dissimilar names and develop them so the reader feels a connection.
