Alien Abductors #4

Alien Hornet

Rate this book
Grace
I’ve shot a hornet.
He’s eight feet tall, with bright yellow stripes, buzzing wings and hard compound eyes.
And he is very angry.
He abducted me from my farm and took me away in his spaceship, which looks like a hornet’s nest on the inside.
But before that, he stung my friend. And with a stinger that size, that had to kill her on the spot.
So I have my reasons for hating him.
He’s clearly an alien, more hyper-muscular man than hornet. But he’s buzzing louder and louder, and I think he’s furious.
And if that protruding rod there is not his stinger, then I don’t want to know what he’s planning to do with it.
Let him try. I’m not going to be his hive mate.

Tzor
I had to take her. She smelled so good it made me dizzy.
I don’t even care that she shot me first.
But biting me, a Royal Scout on a crucial mission? That cannot go unpunished. Even now, my blood is red on her lips.
She is delectable, round and scandalously female. The air in my spaceship is thick with her fear. And something else that I can’t identify, but which nearly makes me faint and forces my crotch to swell dangerously.
I think I know what her punishment must be.
And I think I will enjoy it.

Alien Hornetis the fourth book in the Alien Abductors series of science fiction romance novels. The books are complete stories, but should be read in order for maximum enjoyment.

Expect steamy scenes, mysterious aliens with features like adult toys, deadly planets and the love story between a girl from Earth and a sensationally hot alien with hidden talents!

AHHHHMAAAAZZZZZZZZINNNG

Wowwww! I never thought a romance with a hornet alien could be so freakin HOT and sweet, but Calista is a wizard with her writing and she not only created a hornet alien hot, but endearing, sweet and dangerously lethal to anyone but the heroine.

I absolutely freakin LOOOVED Tzor; he had a determined, laser-focused one track mind that had been fixed on his mission until he saw Grace—and all his attention was refocused on her. It was enough to melt my heart and my panties.

I also loved, LOOVED that both were virgins and belonged to only one another. We need more of this in sci-fi romance.

Totally safe. HEA with epilogue

Confusing until 60% in

The majority of the story was very jumbled. Did not make sense. Felt like the author could not make up mind on how the main characters would be, act.
I did not like anyone but Grace and her fellow farmer. His drone was horrible to the last few lines.
The earth moon segment made no sense. Hope next book explains about the elders because right now I could care less about them.

flowed better than previous books

Grace is abducted from earth by a humanoid hornet that is very attracted to her. He has a mission to get him and a side kick that is deadly determined that he sees it through.
The role play in this book was awkward to me. Partly because the MMC wasn’t human and was playing human roles. The plot made sense and seemed to tie into the other books well. I still didn’t understand the insta attraction in this book from Grace’s side, but it seemed to be pheromone based. The FMCs in the series seem awfully quick to forgive the MMCs so they can jump in the sack instead of just embracing a hate fuck.

Spice: 4.5/5

Triggers: abduction, discussion of genocide, violence

Worst ever

I honestly think that this book is what you write when you have no imagination. A bee as a mate for Gods sake. It's a joke.

Earth is being plundered by the Bululg. The aliens are stealing the females to sell at an auction. Maddie and Grace are still on Earth, running a farm, charming bees, and avoiding the Bululg. Yet a girl only a mile away is kidnapped by the aliens. The women need to do something to protect themselves, but what?

Grace is shocked and horrified to see a large hornet at her beehives. Things happen so quickly, she is abducted and Maddie is shot. Now onboard a small ship with the 2 hornets flying away from Earth. What were they going to do with her? Eat her? Troz has been kind to her, Peski has tolerated her at best. The attraction between Troz and Grace grows, even when their ship goes down.

Troz is on a mission to find his swarm. He lands on Earth. It's where he meets Grace and realizes that she is his. MINE! The female drone aboard - Peski - reminds him that Grace is an annoyance, no distraction! Troz doesn't care what Peski says, Grace is his. Only he doesn't understand how he knows that she is his. Peski keeps reminding him that his objective is to find The Swarm. When he needs to find a replacement ship since his is ruined, he has to rely on Peski and Grace to help him out. His kind is NOT welcomed anywhere.

When Troz finds his Swarm, things changed. Grace is shuttled off the planet. She is no longer needed or wanted. Or is she? What about Troz? Or Peski? And the Queen!?

This was a quick read because I was so engaged in it. I was curious about Troz. He's the first alien insect/human hybrid I've read about. The writing keeps you involved in the story and it's fast-paced, so you never know what's going to happen next. The characters are relatable and well-written, even Peski. Her name fits perfectly!

I Didn't like it.

I think that this book was supposed to be a comedy. It had to be. This book had such stupid characters. I stopped reading at 27% then skipped to the end.

buzz worthy

I really liked Tzor and Grace! The books starts with Grace on Earth on her farm she owns with a friend. Tzor crashes into her life.. literally. Tzor is immediately interested in Grace and her “gold thread scent.” He captures her but not before Grace thinks Tzor has killed her friend, Maddie. I felt like Grace could’ve been more upset about what she thought happened to Maddie. She doesn’t really resist her feelings for Tzor all the while thinking he killed her friend. This book is a little more insta-love.

-*mild spoilers*-

Tzor has a lot of development as he starts to fall for Grace. His mission becomes less of a priority as he gets to know/lust after Grace. I wasn’t really sure I understood the point of them crashing on the Moon besides just making the Elders plot line move forward. I did love the virtual reality game planet they land on. The idea is clever. It definitely gave Grace an opportunity to show her strengths. The humor in this book was good and reminded me of Alien Freak. The steam in this book is high and I did skim some of those pages.. they had a lot of sex. The ending was good - SPOILER - the only thing I wished we could have read (and not been told) was how the Queen died. Basically the book states Tzor just stings her a bunch of times but I wanted more details. She is supposedly so much LARGER than he is so how did he overpower her? I guess I just wanted more of a fight scene! Anyways, I really enjoyed the book and can’t wait to see what is next.

Interesting concept, but I was left wanting and bored…

No summary because this one’s hits the nail on the head, and I don’t want this to fade anymore from memory before I get a chance to write this review.

I liked the little one, Peski, the only name I remember, but she was quite bitchy and rude, only making up for herself at the very end - which knowing her character was waayyyyy out of left field.

The MMC was a dick and overly alpha, even without being an actual alpha? Does that make sense? He had sweet moments but it didn’t really feel like he wanted to do those things. Just knew if he did, she would trust him more to keep her along for the ride, even though he knew his hive would prolly kill her on sight….but spending like a week on a game planet and fucking almost 24/7 made him change his mind and say screw his entire life.

The FMC was equally annoying. Want him, don’t want him, want him. Making excuses as to why she can’t have him but avoids the several opportunities she had to leave him. Just saying. So he vibrates? I mean what did he really offer her aside from good sex??? He had no personality.

The book was long as hell, I read like two to three novels a night, decent length. This book took me DAYS to finish. Unheard of.

Overall? 3
Plot? 2
Spice? 2.8
Char Dev? 3 for MMC, 2 for FMC and 3.2 for Peski
Cheating? No
HEA? Sort of yeah
Tropes? alien, kidnapping, aliens to lovers, mates
Triggers? None that I recall

someone said that it seemed like this author had no clue what to write or where the direction of the book was going until 60% in and i 100% agree, i feel like i wasted time getting to the actual plot… The whole moon arc was boring and added absolutely nothing to the book either. Felt like filler, this whole book was mostly just chaotic and rushed, especially the epilogue, felt artificial and unnatural… also, we don’t get a lot of chemistry between the 2, just sex and that’s all, couldn’t connect with them.

(farming simulator was the best part of the book)

dual virgins
slow insta
kidnapping
cross species (hornet/man)
action
asshole-ish hero? conflicting hero
violence
no protection
no om drama/ slight ow drama, the queen wanted the H)

disappointed and disappointed first time having sex

What a wild adventure!
Grace is kidnapped by Tzor, a marauding hornet man seeking honey. I adore his innocence! He doesn’t seem to know why he wants her - just that he can’t leave without her. What transpires from here is wild, unimaginable, funny, scary, illuminating - I experienced every emotion watching this relationship grow! Grace is a nurturer, she ensures that there’s something for everyone, and oh, my, does she ever find Tzor thrilling! My favorite world they visited is Sprell.it’s quite a learning experience for both of them, as their romance reaches new heights!
There is so much fine entertainment here. It is definitely not to be missed!

Tzor meets his own Queen Bee in Grace!

Grace getting abducted from Earth is just the start of her problems. She used to think being sold off by the Bululg would be her fate, now she's been abducted by a humanoid Hornet and his pint-sized side-kick drone! Tzor isn't quite sure why he has side-tracked his mission to take Grace but he's determined not to give her up.

There is plenty to enjoy - there are interactive reality game planets, dastardly queens to quash and the Elders are popping up again. My only niggle was the end of the queen of the swarm - it just seemed a wee bit unfinished and basic in its description.

Looking forward to the ext installment!

Admittedly, I Skimmed, BUT!

This was actually really cute.

That sounds silly but it’s true. This was cute. I skimmed a lot but the more the book progressed into the later chapters that, towards the end, I was only trying to fool myself I was still skimming.

So the beginning was pretty basic and standard but towards the end there were enough unique gems going on with the plot and the storyline that even I could acknowledge this was probably a pretty decent read. I’m not sad I skimmed per say, but maybe a little regretful. Jus’ a lil. 🤏🏼

Action packed excitement in Alien Hornet

The Alien Hornet is book 4 in the Alien abductor series. The very unique look at the Earth and the outlying universe is made interesting with Tzor and Grace’s adventures following her abduction from Earth. As a former farm girl, I found the incorporation of farming into the story and the lesson to be learned by Tzor in the game world to be an nice twist that is rarely seen. Calista Skye is a great storyteller with an imagination based in reality and far beyond the stars.

Who new hornets could be romantic?

If you enjoy reading about extreme alien pairings with humans then you will love this book. Ms Skye has an impeccable imagination and renders the deadly hornet as a devoted lover and husband to a deserving human. The story has a few light moments that are mildly humorous but overall the plot is not too depressing. In fact, the whole thing was most enjoyable!

Fantastic alien sci-fi romance with Grace and Tzor. The earth has been invaded by the Bululg’s they take women to be auctioned off as slaves etc, Grace was furious and she was scared that one day she would be taken but no it wasn’t the Bululg’s that took Grace it was a giant hornet who’s part man and he says that Grace belongs to him. There is so much more going on in this fantastic story I loved it and the characters and I highly recommend this book it’s well worth the read.

So weird…

Yep, saw this crazy cover and just had to see what heck this author was thinking when she decided that a human/hornet hybrid was the best choice for the romantic interest.

If you ignore the stripes, wings, mandibles and stinger, than it’s a fun space romp. But, honestly, those hornet features aren’t that forgettable, and I kept getting distracted from what was otherwise a pretty engaging story.

It'll have you buzzing

Who knew a humanoid hornet could make Grace the happiest human in space. But then having Tzor kidnap her wasn't part of her life plan. Until it was.
Tzor was born with one goal in his life: travel through space finding fecund planets for his Swarm to raze. Meeting Grace, playing a game, and falling in love changed it all.
Enjoy this fun, romantic trip to happiness.

This book has lots of steamy romance and non stop action. Tzor takes Grace from her farm on Earth which leaves her friend Maddie running their farm by herself. Unexpectedly, she finds herself falling for him although she still wants to go back to Earth to check on her friend. They end up playing a game on a game planet and things really heat up between them. They find their strength together. They fight together to get their happily ever after.

This was entertaining. I took off 1 star for some weird word choices "He held me more firmly than a gynecologist's chair" and "the squelching noises showed how much I wanted him" things like that.

I liked how the hero had wings and a stinger. When his wings vibrate, the heroine likes it very much.

The ending was very tense and had me on the edge of my seat.

This book is the first book I'd read in this series but I plan to go back and read more.

Better than the previous story. Way more action and cool dialogue. Lots of background info and plot development. Surprisingly another female character I liked, but the H was fun too.

There was a mistake with the name of Kagarons second/Scyt. In book 3 he is called Hapatin, in this book he is called Hapaon.

Fast paced and creative!!!

This is a story about freedom, honor and loyalty—issues just as complex as the different honeys collected by the humanoid hornet Tzor. I wasn’t sure about Tzor at first. However, as he and Grace interact, it’s easier to see him through her eyes. An intriguing story on its own. It interweaves nicely into the series. Enjoy!

Not only is the prose itself terrible, but it's offensively stupid.

This terrifying alien just kidnapped me, murdered my friend, has me trapped and bound and helpless, ripped off my clothes, and says he owns me. Oh yes that's terrible but oh myyyy his touch is so warm I want more...

Are you fucking serious?

Grace is abducted from her farm by a large humanoid alien hornet.
Tzor a royal scout on a mission

Calista Skye adds another great installment to the series. Each book is unique but builds on to the world in the storyline. I would have to say that this one was a bit more unusual than the rest. But it was still entertaining and I'm enjoying the series.

Plant Before Harvest

A fun, sexy alien romance full of adventure and characters going through personal growth. I loved how Grace taught Thor about love and fighting for what’s important and how Grace really came into her own because of their adventures.
