So I don't read any Star Wars comics, and I'd only bought this issue for the LucasFilmLtd 50th anniversary Mandalorian cover. But, I decided to give it a read because why not? And you know what? For a story where I've missed 19 issues, I really enjoyed what I saw. And it's intrigued me to possibly reading the entire series on Marvel Unlimited (which I've had a sub to forever and opened it like, twice this year...). Really fun. Especially for a somewhat newb to the Star Wars lore like me.
These are my Star Wars days. The original 3 Star Wars films. When everything was built around the Skywalkers (Darth Vader, Luke, & Leia). I love the writing and the art. We get to see several new characters and the stories are well developed. All this great background on what Vader had to go thru. Not a simple story or process. Keep it up Greg Pak.
Different from most issue in this series. More focus on the story evolution and intrigue, which there is in others issues, but not as much vs the action in a standard single issue. It did made it a slower issues but we move further into the story so that's good.
