S1 finished @ ch. 52
3.5 stars (only bc I have read it week by week and the art is amazing)
Amazing art. Boring characters and plot. Predictable twists. Been there, done that baby. 😮💨 It is not that bad, do not get me wrong but there are WAY better manhwas from this genre.
I mean, a Korean dungeon fantasy meets with otome isekai? Should have been handled better. So many tropes was shoved into this one and somehow story feels like it lacks something. I love powerful woman stories and FL being an unshamed bitch who likes slapping everyone with her logic and wit but here everything comes off as really generic.
In addition, romance is very mild here and kinda does not make sense. If you are one of those readers that want a heavy dose of romance in your fantasy romance stories well this will be let down for you. For those who do not want romance at the front, this might be more your cup of tea. Its very much focused on FL and her reacting to... the shitty ways the "system" makes life hard for her. There is romance but its pretty much feels like a after thought.
ML is another one of those lap dog guys who act like FL's servants and his sudden obsession to FL came out from NOWHERE. I do like puppy dog MLs when they are handled the right way but here he just comes off like a boring cookie cutter. There is another love interest but lets not talk about him bc he is a asshole.
There is also FL's family who sucks.
And FL is way too OP.
And S01 ended of a cliffhanger and I have no idea when S02 comes out.
The story has the same artist from Beware the Villainess.
So overall; Eh. Worth a read if you are into amazing art and searching something to read when your favorite manhwas are on a break. Not recommended to read week by week.

it's fine, but there's just nothing noteworthy for me. i just also didn't like the love triangle-y aspect. but i was never really a big fan of those 🫤
