I like the paranormal series I've read by this author so far. Of course, some books are more and others less and some are eternally hated, but overall it's quite positive.
One thing that bothers me a lot about writing is the changes in events, events or stories that always happen from one chapter to the next. An example of this is Monty's fainting at the end of a chapter and at the beginning of the next chapter two weeks have passed. I'm like, hey, what do you mean production?
This book, like the others in the series, reports on the meeting of loved ones or companions of members of the Beloved Gem clan, vampires. Here it is the turn of Fergus, the red-haired, grumpy and grumpy vampire, bartender at the Gem, who finds his lover in Montgomery, an adorable, inexperienced, sweet and insecure fae, who was chosen by destiny to leave the kingdom of the fae to find his companion, he is Matthew's brother from book 1 of the Warlocks of Amherst series.
In this book we have no suspense, no anguish, no action or drama. There is a slight emotion in some moments, but it is light. No heavy themes, other than lazy parents who need an intervention from the goddess. Every book I read makes me want to remove a star from Thomas's book, Canyon's Choice. That staleness of this character.
