story:
Cavan Scott's one-shot "Life Day" tells a few quick stories around the most important holiday on Kashyyk: Life Day. Everything is framed by Han and Chewie landing on Black Spire Outpost to meet an old friend, just to fall right into a trap organized by the Kanjiklub...
rating:
"Life Day" really is a cute little story which manages to really transfer the spirit of Life Day. All the short events Han remembers while trying to outplay the Kanjiklub show the importance of the holiday, especially for the walking carpet Chewbacca. Whoever expects a great show or shivering action doesn't have the right spirit. "Life Day" fills a small gap and does that by being charming. It can be compared to a children's book with a moral. Nothing big but entertaining for a cozy afternoon. The characters are exactly the way you'd expect, nothing surprising happens. The panels are well styled, all feels real and rich with colors.
