This book was very informative and easy to read. Seriously, the chapters are only several pages long so it made me feel quite accomplished. My only qualm would be that I feel some of the information may have been exaggerated for the sake of turning everyone who reads it into a vegetarian. Other than that, pretty resourceful book.

I bought this book to gain a better understanding of my niece's lifestyle choice. It provided quite a bit of information, but was a little heavy-handed. While there are several, good health reasons, I'm not convinced that vegetarians are as healthy as one thinks. Prime example is Davy Jones of The Monkees fame. He was a strict vegetarian, an avid runner and died of a heart attack at 66. I believe one's genes play the primary role in one's health. Based on my gene pool, I'm treading water at the deep end, so bring on the prime rib, filet mignon, and steak tartar!
