A lighthearted, fun Halloween anthology featuring two intertwined stories from New York Times bestselling authors Sylvia Day and Cathryn Fox!
Magic: When good witch Brianna James uses her magic and writes a sexy, forbidden love spell on her thirty-first birthday, on the thirty-first day of October during a full moon, and conjures up a roguish, bad boy warlock, she has no idea that she'll experience a passion so deep and so intense it will forever turn her good girl days into bad girl nights. But, when that spell lands in the wrong hands, be prepared for a little mayhem...
Mayhem: When Abigail Garvey steps into Conjure, the local magic shop, all she's looking for are a few props to round out her fortune teller Halloween costume. Abby isn't looking for a love spell that turns her drop-dead gorgeous but long-oblivious neighbor into an aggressive alpha sex machine. Sure his single-minded pursuit (and follow-through!) is the stuff her wickedest fantasies are made of, but how much of it is the real deal? And how much of it is just a little magical mayhem?
Acclaimed for her signature emotionally charged storytelling and the psychological complexity of her characters, Sylvia Day is a number one bestselling author in twenty-nine countries, with translations in forty-one languages and over twenty million copies of her books in print. Day is the #1 New York Times, #1 USA Today, #1 Sunday Times, #1 Globe and Mail, #1 Der Spiegel, and #1 international bestselling author of over twenty award-winning novels, including six Sunday Times, ten New York Times and thirteen USA Today bestsellers. I actually really enjoyed these 2 small Halloween romance stories. I just wish they were longer or that they each would get a real full book. If there’re any more written then I’ll definitely follow up on those.
I have enjoyed all the Sylvia Day books I have read. And for me, I love the witchy. A fun read. Written by two authors; two different stories, overlap.
I love how short the story was and how it was written by two authors but flowed so easily. I loved how spicy yet magical it was, but overall, it was a little too predictable and unbelievable.
If you are in a mood from a whimsical, light read. You need to buy this one. It is sweet with a little magic and a lot of sex. Sylvia Fay, thank you for sharing
3.5 I finished reading Magic and Mayhem during a full moon, a blue moon. Though these two stories were too short, they still provided a mystical read, especially during Halloween. I’m hoping there’s more. I want to know Sarah’s story, too. And who’s going to be her “stamina of four.”
I didn't bother reading much of this book, the bit I did read was badly written porn, with a laughable story line. Next time I'll take note of write ups....
I liked this quick book. Interesting characters. Nice set up to the surroundings. Passion and romance are my favorite. This book gives it to you quickly.
