I don't know why half the reviews of this book are 5 stars. It's an enjoyable above-mid series at best.
This volume felt like it was mostly set up for the next one, so hopefully volume 4 is something good.
I will admit the "Hell I like you, you can come over to my house and fuck my sister" was a pretty good bit.

So far this series feels like a trashier Saekano, but even that series took a bit to find its footing. So I'm still holding out a little hope.

In the third installment of the series I cannot help but be pleased with the story and how the author continuously improves. Similar to the first two books connections between characters and their relationships continue to blossom. However in this story some secrets are exposed and they impact the alliance. Iroha begins to grow more as a character and her relationship with Aki begins to gain more of a background.

As soon as I gave up on trying to make sense of the crazy plot this series had I actually started to really enjoy it! The characters, as always, are the highlights along with some pretty funny meta humour that actually made me laugh. All in all, it's a fun story if you just need something to cheer you up!

At the end of voume 2, Sumire asked Akiteru to marry her. Volume 3 reveals why. She is trying to avaoid an arranged marriage by her family because she would never be able to create art otherwise! So Akiteru is pretending to be the fiance of Sumire while also being the pretend boy friend of Mashiro. But thing go into high gear when a beach outing of the 05th Floor Alliance ends up at a haunted inn in the mountains so that Sumire's grandfather can interview Akiteru. And for some reason Mashiro was there with a professional editor. So how will the 05th Floor Alliance manage to outwit the grandfather and what secret is Mashiro revealing at the end of the book? Read and find out! Book 4 should prove very interesting!

I kinda gave up on this series after the second volume but I bought the second volume along with the third one and it would have been a waste to not read it. Surprisingly I did enjoy this volume it was certainly an improvement over the second volume at least. The plot was quite absurd but it was enjoyable and much less messy than the second volume. I also laughed quite a bit while reading this one.

I do hate the "jokes" where the main character seemingly has to resist the urge to punch someone when the heroines do something stupid or is teasing him. I don't mind jokes revolving around the fact that every member of the cast are horrible people but when it's something like the previously mentioned joke it bothers me quite a lot. It also makes me less want to see the main character enter a romantic relationship with any of the heroines when he thinks like that.

Major cliffhanger ending. If its handled the same way they handles the one from volume 1 I'll be pretty upset. Although, I'm expecting then to as in these romcom LNs the whole point is for no real relationship progress to occur.
