This book is great for getting use to different scale patterns, practicing sounds techniques as well as developing some ideas for lead solos. I work through about half way of the book before the exercise became a little too advance for me(or rather that I became too lazy). If I am to teach someone strictly about how to solo (not how to play electric guitar, contrary to popular belief, playing electric guitar is much more than just soloing away), then I will use this book. Check it out and let me know if you like it or not!!

Рекомендую тим, хто досяг певного рівня гри на електрогітарі та хоче рухатися далі. Книга написана у вигляді мануалу+12 класних соло, зігравши які ви вже буде шкварити на гітарі, наче Інґві Мальмстін(жартую). Все, я пішов лабати.

I recommend it for upper-intermediate guitar players, who (almost) mastered the rhythm-guitar and want to move on. The book is written as a manual+12 cool solos. If you play them you will play the guitar like Yngwie Malmsteen (or maybe not).
