All people are beautiful is a beautifully illustrated children's books about treating everyone with respect, love, kindness and inclusion no matter what race, gender, religion, skin tone, language or interests. This is such a current book for today and was really enjoyable to read. Such an important subject today too!
“All People Are Beautiful” is a wonderfully illustrated children’s book focused on one central lesson: despite our differences, everyone is beautiful and unique, and deserving of respect. The book is easy-to-understand, written with simple vocabulary and including some rhyming.
I absolutely adored the art style. My favourite illustration included ways to say “Hello!” in many different languages, which is a fun exercise for the reader to practice and enjoy. I also loved how the author included a graphic that teaches basic ways to be kind and respectful towards others. They are easy ways that children can incorporate into their day-to-day life, such as saying “thank you” and “great job.” At the end of the book, I loved that the author included an interactive activity section. Activities like the ones included are a great way for children to practice and use the lessons and material from the book.
I highly recommend this book for children of all ages to enjoy, be it alone or with the help of an older reader.

The illustrations in this book are beautiful!! It tells a story that despite our differences we are all beautiful, unique and deserve respect. I loved how the illustrations teach the reader how to say “hello” in different languages as well as examples of actions you can do to help and respect others. I also loved the interactive activity at the end. I’ve never seen this before and my son was really excited to follow along. I highly recommend this book to children of all ages!!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for making this available..
'All People Are Beautiful' is a beautiful illustrated book was a great message. It focuses on no matter how different we are whether it's about our skin colour, our nationality or what our native language but that we are all beautiful.
It's very colourful and vibrant with a clear message that kids will definitely love and enjoy!
A lovely, colorful book that celebrates individuality and acceptance of all people. This book perfectly expresses the heart of most young children, who unless are taught to hate, are simply pure and loving by nature. If only the world could be as good as our children are. I appreciate any book sending the right message out into the world.
This is a very sweet book, and I love its message of everyone being beautiful because of our differences, rather than in spite of them. This is a great message for children, for everyone really. The illustrations are bright, cheerful, and engaging, and the text has a nice, non-sing-songy rhythm to it. A good addition to any kid's book collection.
Would have loved to have this book on my shelves as a child! A beautiful, colorful experience -- with such a wonderful message all children should learn early on.
My Recommendation As a former preschool teacher, mother of a Black daughter, and grandmother to two Asian/Caucasian grandchildren, I highly recommned this book for preschoolers. As a matter of fact to hope to buy a copy for my 3 year old, Chinese American grandaughter. With simple rhyming prose and delightful illustrations, the story empowers children to appreciate and love all the differnt types of people in their families and communities! "My friends like different things but they are all very cool" is one such sentence in the book Even though people come from different nationalities and places, speak different languages and are of different races we learn from each other. All people are beautiful and have real value and worth and what matters is we treat each other right! There couldn't be a simpler, more beautiful or important message to impart to young children
The book talks about diversity, as the name suggests. It enumerates the different features that we see around in different people like their height, the length of hair, the choices they make, their likes and dislikes etc. All of them are beautiful and correct despite what is considered right and wrong by the society.
The book is an attempt to break the conditioning about right & wrong and give a fresh perspective to everyone's choices and appearances. It brings out the message that there is no right and wrong, it's just how we perceive things. It brings out the message that everyone is beautiful and we should respect their choices.
Filled with interesting illustrations to give a clear picture of what the book has to offer, this is a must read to the children.
A gentle reminder to kids that difference is good. It is boring if all people are the same, so the difference makes it beautiful. From others we can learn something, but we have the same rules. Say "thank you", be polite, encourage each others and some other ground rules.
Some people are big, but some are smaller. But all is beautiful. At the end, the diversity makes life more interesting.
All people are beautiful speaks to us precisely of diversity from a different, friendly and inclusive perspective. It shows especially to children the great advantage of growing up surrounded by people from different places and cultures. To learn from everyone and share our lifestyles.
This is a very nice book with a simple message, clear, direct and very well captured in these images, which speaks of the importance of being tolerant, kind and respectful to others even if they are different.
This book is a beautiful lesson that all of us, not just children, should remember!
It is important for the future generation to learn that we are all different but that is what makes the world beautiful. Vincent Kelly captures the true meanin* of beauty when he penned this book.
Not only is it extremely well written it brings an aspect of fun with it as it offers 2 activities in the back to help educate and spark creativity in your child.
Mr. Kelly’s book is one that I will recommend to everyone to promote love, acceptance and multicultural education.
👍🏼I was awarded this book from Net Galley and the publishers in exchange for an honest review👍🏼
In simple words and well executed illustrations the theme is carried out that people of any color, nationality, or age is as beautiful as as any other. I want one for my local public library! And not just for the children's section! I requested and received a free temporary ebook from Greater You Books via NetGalley. Thank you!
This book is very straightforward and simple with themes that focus on acceptance of diversity in our communities. The goal of this story is to celebrate the different qualities people can have and show how they make us all beautiful. The book shows that our communities are made up of all kinds of people, brothers and sisters, moms and dads, aunts and uncles, cousins, grandparents, and friends. The story doesn’t focus on how a nuclear family is made up of a mom and dad, it shows that our community can be extended family and friends as well which is inclusive for children who live with guardians who aren’t their biological parents. The story also has a page about how our friends can all like different things and that’s what makes them interesting and fun. The book stresses that people have different physical qualities, and they can come in all shapes and sizes, big, small, short, or tall. From here, the book continues on to explain how we all have different backgrounds and represent different races and cultures and can even speak different languages. None of these races or languages is depicted as superior to another, or gone into in depth, the book just gives us a short, broad overview which aids in the story’s main goal to acknowledge, normalize, and honor the differences in each person. This story focuses on promoting kindness and acceptance by emphasizing that we should always be kind to each other no matter what our differences are because if we were all the same, the world would be a less exciting and interesting place where we wouldn’t get to learn about each other’s different cultures and interests. I appreciated the simplicity of this story and the message it teaches children without overcomplicating what can really be a simple and fundamental concept if it is taught from a early age, and what we all know as the golden rule, “treat others as you want to be treated” because we are all beautiful when we are kind and accepting. The book concludes with examples of how to treat each other with kindness by encouraging each other, showing respect, helping each other and saying “thank you” and “you’re welcome”.
"All People are Beautiful" by Vincent Kelly is a heartwarming children's book that teaches the valuable lesson that everyone is beautiful, regardless of their differences. The story follows a young girl who learns to appreciate the unique qualities of herself and others, promoting self-love and acceptance of diversity. The illustrations are vivid and captivating, contributing to the book's optimistic tone. Kelly employs bright and vibrant colors using Moebius' codes to evoke energy, excitement, and exploration for young readers. Moebius' circular enclosure code is also evident in this book, which gives off a sense of security and contentment. This adds to the overall positive message conveyed by the illustrations, which are bright and engaging, making the book more appealing to young readers. The use of vibrant colors creates a feeling of energy and excitement, helping to captivate the reader's attention. All in all, the illustrations serve as a powerful tool in conveying the book's message.
Overall, "All People Are Beautiful" is a must-read for anyone who wants to promote diversity and inclusivity. The book is a powerful tool for teaching children about the importance of acceptance and celebrating differences, and it is sure to inspire readers of all ages to embrace their own unique qualities." It's a wonderful read for young children and families alike, and I highly recommend it.
First of all, this book is truly beautiful! In the world we live in today, I believe this book is especially relevant and needs to be read and reread by everyone. It is a heartwarming and uplifting book that celebrates diversity, equality, and the beauty of EVERY human being. The many different cultures featured in this book teach children to accept everyone!
One point I love especially is that this book not only celebrates diverse cultures and races but also different body types, such as big and small. I have noticed many books spreading the love for all cultures, which is beyond important for the youth of our world, but I believe many need a lesson in kindness regarding body shape, which is why I love this book! I will definitely be reading this in my future classroom! It encourages readers to embrace everyone's differences and reject nasty stereotypes.
The illustrations in this book are very eye-catching, which will hold the attention of even the youngest readers! I thought it was especially clever to add an activity for children to complete after reading! This is what makes this children's book so unique!
There are not enough great things I can say about "All People Are Beautiful," the author and illustrator did an outstanding job!
Celebrate all the differences we share with others around us. No two of us are the same and it’s a joy to see all the unique things that make us special. Old, young, tall, short, long hair, or short hair, our differences are what make us stand out.
Vincent Kelly teaches kids to appreciate what’s different about each one of us because if we weren’t different, life would be boring. He also reminds us to treat everyone with respect and kindness, to be polite, and encourage each other. He does all this with few words and bright, colorful pages.
Consul takes care to share a variety of different kids and adults on the pages, kids with dark skin and light skin, with long hair and short hair, those who like to ride bikes, and others who play soccer. The pages are full of color and all of the kids on the pages are happy and smiling. While reading this story, kids will think of their own friends and how each one of them is special in their own way.
The end of the book includes some activity pages for kids to design their own character and their own flag.

As a matter of fact to hope to buy a copy for my 3 year old, Chinese American grandaughter. With simple rhyming prose and delightful illustrations, the story empowers children to appreciate and love all the differnt types of people in their families and communities! I love the approach of this book to introduce kids to people of different colors and races. I only wish that there had been kids of different abilities (such as in wheelchairs) but appreciated that there wasn't an emphasis on genders (such as the boy with long hair and it just being a part of who he is and not a discussion of gender/sex). I loved seeing the kids doing a variety of different activities and the pictures of them in different countries speaking various languages. It is a simple book but does a great job to show children that there are lots of different people and that people come in various different shades of color, culture, etc. I will definitely be using this book to introduce my children to different cultures in a gentle manner and teach them that all races and people are beautiful.
He message here is very clear and straightforward. The pictures in this children’s book are wonderful. I think Vincent Kelly did a wonderful job with his message. However, the message would probably be more interesting if there was actually a story that portrays this message instead of just telling children to be good to everyone and how we need each other.
While I completely agree with this message itself and feel that it is a good. I think it is just not as interesting as it could have been. Children don’t typically like to be told what to do and this feels more in the line of a lecture than a children’s story.
I’d like to thank NetGalley and Greater You Books for the ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.
A really cute and sweet book about how all cultures, people, and languages are beautiful. A wonderful lesson for children of all ages. The illustrations were very chaotic, but I personally think that's perfect for a children's book! Attention-grabbing for sure! I can really appreciate the message behind the story, but I was left wanting a little bit more. Maybe a grander look at the world/cultures or more information. It felt short to me, even for a children's story. Overall though, I love the message and the activities at the end are an amazing touch, a great way to get kids more involved.
Thank you to NetGalley and Greater You Books for an advanced copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
"All People Are Beautiful" emphasizes that we all live in a world full of diversity with people who are all different, but that is what makes us beautiful, unique, and special. If everyone in the world was the same, that would be boring! This is a simple and beautiful illustrated book for children to learn to embrace the differences between people whether it is race, culture, personalities, disabilities, family backgrounds, hair, facial feature, etc. If children start to view everyone as beautiful because of their differences and treating them with respect and love, they will be able to change the world. The illustrations are beautiful and enhance the differences we have as people. The colors were vibrant and stood out as well as the texture and lines used throughout the book.
My Quick Thoughts: A fantastic concept that is executed in an innovative fashion! Children learn to embrace diversity in this narrative that is warm, wonderful, and straightforward. Readers discover – delightfully – that no matter our differences, there is one thing we all have in common – we are all beautiful in our own way!
The illustrations accompanying the narrative are vibrant and adorable illustrations and sure to leave you with a smile on your face. And as a bonus, there are two quick and simple activities for its young readers at the end of the book.
A great book for parents explaining differences to their children, and for use in classrooms everywhere!
thanks to netgalley for the e-rc of this book. all opinions are my own
This book talks about how no matter how different people are, everyone is beautiful in their own ways. Everyone comes from different countries, different races, and have different faces, but that's makes a person special. It explains how people can speak different languages, which are important so everyone can learn something new. It's boring if everyone is the same, and our differences are what makes everyone unique, and the world a more exciting place to live. We should all celebrate people for who they are. I would use this in my future classroom to show students that differences are important. I would go around the class and have students share one thing about themselves, write it all on a board, and have them reflect and see that everyone is different, but they can all get along.
This children's book is a beautifully illustrated reflection that no matter what you look like, everyone is beautiful. Its a quick read, geared towards children, but with the way the world is now, adults could benefit from the message All People Are Beautiful portrays.
The drawings are very inclusive -- it features people of different races, ethnicities, and body types -- which is so important for young readers to see. The book teaches love and acceptance. This book would be a perfect gift for a young child.
Thank you to Netgalley for providing me with a free advanced copy of this title in exchange for an honest review.
This book is about how all people are beautiful, whether they are old, young, tall, small, and more! It mentions how people have different faces, races, and languages and how all people are beautiful. It talks about the importance of having all people around because it's important for everyone to learn about each other and all the things that make us different really reunite us. It doesn't matter what you look like, just treat people with respect and encouragement. I would read this book and connect it to an activity where the children will draw themselves and show one fact about themselves to the class and talk about the ways we were different and the same.
