And so it is...I just read a book that caused me to blush, swoon and make my vagina feel imaginarily sore. I know TMI, but you think about being mounted by a centaur and tell me it doesn't cross your mind. Disturbing yet intriguing.

I’m not sure how I ended up here…. I began reading romance novels when I was 15; started with Harlequin, then moved on to historical romance. Now, here I am, many years later, reading centaur porn! 😅🥴
I liked this, but I also feel weird for liking it! There were very detailed descriptions of quite literally a horse 🍆, and how that 🍆 would fit into a human 🐱 and 👄. The mechanics were quite complex! I found myself trying to imagine how that would possibly work… like… where do all the hooves go? What about the height different? Then there was a thing with a saddle, a bridle, and reins (for her!) and I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to figure out the logistics of that. It was slightly disturbing… but I also kinda liked it?! I don’t know! 😳
Aside from all of the horsing around (pun intended), I wasn’t a huge fan of the writing. It was kind of “old English”. He would call her “sweet maiden” or “little maiden” and she would call him “milord”. The author would also use old-English phrases and words. For example:
…stepping closer still and making me quake, for he is a huge, powerful male.
It made the writing overly formal and stilted. I’ve read the other books in this series and L.V. Lane uses the same type of language. I’m not a huge fan of it, but it bothered me more in this book than in the previous ones — maybe because it was so short, so I didn’t have as much time to acclimate to it.
I also really didn’t like the insta-love. I understand insta-lust, especially in the paranormal romance genre, but I HATE insta-love! It made no sense that Chastity was feeling the “beginnings of love” only 53 pages into the book, when she had only known Axton for a few days.
I think this would have been better as a longer book, as opposed to a short novella. It had a lot of potential. I also think it could have benefitted from more of Axton’s POV.
Overall, this was a pretty good, smutty (if not odd) read.

Well, damn. Remember the Morning Glory Milking Farm? I thought it was one of the weirdest books I've ever read... but no, romance (and lots of sex) between a centaur and a human woman definitely take the weirdness level a step higher.
All of that aside, it was a short and well written smutty story! The centaur was such a sweetheart, totally dominant but so sweetly caring. The heroine was a bit of a mess but she was still perfect for the hero. It was very (very!) erotic, short and sweet. And yes, very kinky.
I can imagine reading more by the author.

For a minute there, I was like, "Am I comfortable fantasizing about...anything?!" and it turns out there is one exception to my exophilia/teratophilia, hallelujah! hahahaha... Little did I know that I had only been reading monster smut lite so far... This book was a whole other level of kinky centaur monster erotica.
This is the second book I've checked out in this series, and I think the "romance" in the books is not my cup of tea. There was a lot of dubcon due to biological hormones turned to fated mate/insta-love that was not very satisfying, and the vividly imaginative kink just made me O_O the whole time. The author is definitely quite the trailblazer in centaur smut and human/centaur equipment and technique, but I think I'll pass on any further stories...

It will sweep you along into the magical forest of the setting, filled with trolls, centaurs, and bear shifters. You’ll succumb to the same sense of awe and wonder as the heroine. In all fairness, I knew what I was most likely getting myself into by reading this but we do have to discuss the difference between monsterloving and straight-up beastiality. The female MC in this book is explicitly attracted to the horse part of the centaur in a way that made me feel like all of my elementary school horse girl friends were secretly thinking about f*cking horses so 🧍🏼♀️

I wondered how the Centaur and human would workand Ms. Lane showed me in her sexy, smexy way. I had a bit of trouble imagining the saddling of Chastity but did a quick search of spanking benches to help me out. Axton is sexy, handsome and dominant but so sweet too. Well, this was a hot and smutty little number from L.V. Lane. The Centaur in My Forest is a bit of a departure from Ms. Lane's normal fare. Here we have a Centaur come upon a human maiden in distress and offer to help her for a price. What ensues is a sweet and extremely steamy romance that certainly pushed some boundaries in the best way possible. I was very curious as to how the author was going to make centaur/human relations work, but I shouldn't have doubted L.V. Lane's inventiveness in that area. Overall, I really enjoyed this novella and wouldn't mind reading more stories set in this world.

I think this is the perfect time of year to release this book. It is the Halloween season and monsters are great to read about this time of year.
This one was super yummy. A bit of a shorter read from this author. It still had a bunch of steam and a decent storyline. I like how the dynamic changes between the 2 MC's from start to finish. And I wouldn't mind more stories with these centaurs in them in the future!

This novella is short and sweet but also packed with some serious heat. I loved the world this book was set in, it was pretty unique from anything I’ve read before! This book follows Chastity a human and a sexy centaur she meets in the forest. I loved these two together!
