ছোট্ট একটা গল্প, কিন্তু ওর সবটুকু থেকে যেন ঠিকরে বেরোচ্ছে আলো। লেখায় আর রেখায় কী সুন্দর একটা বই! ছেলেবেলায় পড়তে পাইনি, কিন্তু এ গল্পটায় চড়ে ছেলেবেলা থেকে ঘুরে আসা যায় একটি দণ্ড। আঙুল উঁচিয়ে শেখানোর ব‍্যারাম নেই এতে, কিন্তু যত বছর গড়াবে, ক্ষুদে পাঠক এ গল্পটার কাছে নিজ থেকেই ফিরে আসবে মুরাশকার মতো, ঝুলিতে উপলব্ধি নিয়ে। অসামান‍্য।

জীবনে প্রথম গুডরিডসে কোন বই অ্যাড করলাম! আজ সোভিয়েত বইয়ের সাইটে ঢুকতেই এটা পেলাম আর আবিষ্কার করলাম এই বইটা আমার ছিলো সেই বাচ্চাকালে!! পড়তে গিয়ে প্রতিটা পাতার লেখা আর ছবি সেই বয়সে যেভাবে দেখেছিলাম ঠিক সেভাবেই দেখলাম। যাক বয়স হলেও বুড়ো হচ্ছিনা সহজে!

আফসোসের কথা হলো ー গল্পের পিঁপড়ে যে কথা বোঝে, বাস্তবের মানুষেরা ঐ কথা বোঝে না। বুঝতে চায় না।

গল্প বলতে চায় অনেকেই কিন্তু গল্প বলতে পারে কত জন? আনাতোলি মিত্যায়েভ সেটা পারেন। শুধু পারেন না, বেশ ভালোভাবে পারেন। একটা প্যাকেজে আকর্ষণীয় গল্প, আচরণ, নীতি-নৈতিকতা, বিজ্ঞান, পরিবেশ - কী নেই! একটু বোকা, গোঁয়ার মুরাশকা আর প্রাজ্ঞ ব্যোমনাবিক দু'জনেই ভালো। বোকামী করে মুরাশকা একটু অহংকার দেখালেও তার মনটা ভালো। এমন বই ভালো না বেসে পারা যায়!
