Not very good. Dated but that wasn’t the problem. The way the story was told it was as if you were watching a movie. A vignette with characters introduced and described and then they’d be killed two paragraphs later. The main characters were ridiculous: the woman was a helpless, vapid female that kept descending into hysteria and then would be checked out by a doctor. Moreover, it was short but took me forever to finish it. Books shouldn’t be this way.
