Taken by the Dragon Prince is another entertaining and exciting book in the Dragon Lords series by Kiersten Fay. Immersive and suspenseful, the story follows lovers turned enemies with haunted pasts and unclear futures.

I really like the world-building throughout the series. It’s such a unique world that includes dragon shifters, witches, and more. Khal and Celeste, the protagonists in this book, go on a long journey, and we see new areas of the world, which are all vivid and interesting. There’s also a lot of suspense and intense moments as these former lovers turned enemies flee from their other foes. The action and fight scenes are epic!!

I liked both main characters. Celeste and Khal have compelling and heartbreaking stories, and a connected and complicated past. Both of them have struggled and suffered tremendously since they last saw each other, and there is no trust between them. However, the chemistry and longing are still there. There are so many unresolved feelings between the two, but secrets, lies, and manipulations are huge obstacles for them to overcome. They have amazing chemistry, and I love their banter. Even when they hate each other, the spark between them is undeniable.

It’s an interesting dynamic, as Celeste is Khal’s prisoner, though he freed her from a previous imprisonment. Khal struggles greatly with his conflicting feelings toward Celeste. Khal’s entire life was shattered when his family was killed, and he was blamed for the murder of his fiancée. Khal knows Celeste was the true killer, and he wants vengeance. Yet, he still has a soft spot for her. Khal spends much of the story confused, and as he gains clarity about the past and what happened to his murdered father, mother, and fiancée, he has to reevaluate everything. Is Celeste really the killer he thinks she is?

Celeste also struggles with her feelings. Raised by an evil mother with vile intentions, Celeste became a pawn in her games. Imprisoned by her own people and used for their gain, Celeste’s life is in constant danger. Throughout the story, she is hunted by more than one enemy, including Khal. I enjoyed her story and hoped that she would find happiness away from her coven’s clutches. I also really wanted her to reconnect with her sister, as I was curious how that dynamic would play out.

I did fall out of the story a bit when it switched back and forth between 1st and 3rd person. I found myself having to reread a few parts for clarification. However, overall it is an entertaining read and a good addition to the series. Special thanks to NetGalley and the author for providing me with a copy of the book. All thoughts are my own.

3.75 stars—TAKEN BY THE DRAGON PRINCE is the fourth instalment in Kiersten Fay’s adult DRAGON LORDS erotic paranormal, fantasy, sci-fi series-a spin off from the author’s SHADOW QUEST series. This is twenty-nine year old, dragon Prince Khalstorm Belmont, and twenty-seven year old witch Celeste Songbird’s story line. TAKEN BY THE DRAGON PRINCE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous storyline is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Celeste and Khalstorm) using present day and memories from the past, TAKEN BY THE DRAGON PRINCE follows the second chance relationship between twenty-nine year old, dragon Prince Khalstorm Belmont, and twenty-seven year old witch Celeste Songbird. The witches and dragons have been at war for hundreds of years but ten years earlier dragon Prince Khalstorm Belmont fell in love with witch Celeste Songbird. Prince Khalstorm was betrothed to another dragon shifter but hours before they were to be married, Celeste was accused of killing his mate. Found with the murder weapon in his hand, Khalstorm was imprisoned, along with the woman he once loved. Fast forward to present day wherein a ghostly apparition has been visiting his cell, the spectre the sister of the woman he once loved. Hoping to assistance in releasing the witch, Khalstorm volunteers to save Celeste, only to discover the truth is not always what appears to be. What ensues is the rebuilding romance and relationship between Celeste and Khalstorm, and the potential fall-out as the witches and dragons continue to battle for power and control, placing our couple in the direct line of fire.

The relationship between Khalstorm and Celeste is a second chance romance; a lovers to enemies to lovers relationship in which betrayal and discrimination are at the root of their conflict. Blaming one another for the death of Khalstorm’s bride to be, both would find themselves imprisoned without benefit of trial or truth. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top sexually graphic language and text.

We are introduced to Celeste’s sister Xanthia, and their mother Elora, as well as the return of Jessie and Orin (SEDUCED BY THE DRAGON LORD 2) ,and Dragon warrior Rayu. The requisite evil has many faces.

TAKE BY THE DRAGON PRINCE is a story of betrayal and vengeance, power and control, magic and mayhem, discrimination and love. The premise is intriguing and engaging; the romance is captivating; the characters are energetic and broken.

3.5/5.0

If one loves dragons, magic and romance, this book has it all! It is part of a series, and although it does stand alone, reading the previous books will add background that would enhance the depth of understanding within this installment.

From the first page opened, readers can't help but empathize with Prince Khalstorm, who is imprisoned for a murder he did not commit and in desperate need of proving his innocence, as well as exacting vengeance on the one he is sure is responsible. Unfortunately, that person is also the woman he deeply loved. Celeste has also been imprisoned for that fateful day, but for much darker reasons than being accused by Khalstorm of that murder. As the plot unravels, the readers watch as a bitter dragon faces a devastated witch, then follows them as both come to terms with the betrayals that have shaped their relationship, then work to find a future. It is both heart-wrenching and page-turning!

The switches from past to present jump frequently, however. This is especially a problem because in the present, Khalstorm is horrifically horrible to Celeste, but when the narrative suddenly jumps to the past, they are deeply in love. It leaves a weirdly disjointed and schizophrenic feel to the story that is both disconcerting and frustrating.
There are also threads that are not explained or left hanging - such as the entire story surrounding Khalstorm having a fiance. That plot device plays strongly into the story yet we have absolutely no explanation about any of it!

Where the author really shines in this book, is in the action and love scenes. These are so perfectly drawn that one easily feels every emotion! So, the strengths do outweigh the weaknesses and the overall story is impossibly hard to put down!

This is a standalone story in the same world as the rest of the stories, and I didn't see any mention of the previous book's characters, so I think it can truly be read on its own and in any order. I enjoyed the overall plot and I liked Celeste, but I have to admit, I wasn't a fan of Prince Khalstrom for much of the book. I understand he was traumatized by the death of his parents and his fiancee, but he refused to ever let her explain, even though he knew what she was like. And with his ability to tell whether she was lying, it seemed he could have saved himself a lot of trouble by letting her speak. I also didn't notice this with the previous book, but there were often changes in tense that made me have to reread sentences. This was an ARC, so perhaps it just needs further editing. But sometimes those sentences would pop out at me.

That said, this was kind of mindless fun and I thought it was worth reading. It was a nice break between much more serious books I've been reading. I already have the first book in this series, and I plan on reading that in between more serious reads next.

I really enjoyed the previous three books in this series and was thrilled to read this one.
Dragon shifter romance books are one of my favourite sub genre. This series adds a twist to that, making them so much more.Celeste and Khalstorm story was so much more that I had hoped. I loved it.
Dragon shifters, witches, magic in a sci fi setting.
Brilliant.

What a brilliant and stunning addition to the Dragon Lords series! Just when I didn't think this series could get any better, I am proven wrong by this wondrous book. The rich and vivid imagery of both the past and the present left me desperate for more. Nothing is more precious then a love that reaches soul deep and never leaves truly leaves you. We can only ever hope to experience that kind of love in our lifetime.

Khalstorm has lived in torment since the death of his parents and his fiance. His kingdom fell that same day, and he was hauled into prison after being found in a compromising position. Every since that day, he has only set his sights on revenge. Too bad his heart betrays him to the very person who turned his world upside down. Celeste never knew of love before she met Khalstorm. Inexperienced and naive, she obediently followed her mother in all things. Just as her world blossomed into something so requisite beyond measure, it was all ripped away. No time for figuring out what happened or offering condolences, she is forced into a world of neglect and torture. Can these two hurting souls ever hope to reconnect and heal the pain of their past, or will a deadly enemy destroy them both and leave them forever bereft and helpless?

Watching the passionate progress of Khalstorm and Celeste's relationship unfold left me breathless and in awe. What a pure, stunning, and marvelous love that grew between them. Their connection and bond felt so right and even predestined. I couldn't get over how natural and soul deep their bond became even in light of normally hostile relations between their groups of people. I saw that as a blessed sign of just how precious and powerful they were together. Without a doubt, they are a formidable pair whose love was viciously put to the test. Their enemies had much to fear indeed for love can transform any and every life it touches.

Kiersten Fay has blessed us with this incredible addition to her wonderful Dragon Lords series. My heart soared as high as a dragon and as light as a feather as I walked this devastatingly emotional and utterly fascinating journey. The brilliant characters captured my heart and left me wanting so much more. Now, I am desperate for the next addition to this extraordinary series as her stories just keep getting better and better!

ARC from NetGalley

2.75 rounded up

It's a standard family tree-style paranormal romance. I don't know how to explain it better. You start with book 1 which introduces a couple and then some side characters who will eventually branch off into books 2 and 3, etc. They often have like 10 books in a series and they tend to have the previous couples show up in the subsequent books with an overarching plot linking them all but not a very good plot most of the time.

Anyways, Khal is in jail because he was caught in a compromising position with his dead fiance and a knife. He hates Celeste because he saw her in a similar position with said fiance and said knife just prior to his arrest. Yet, it never crosses his mind that the same thing that happened to him could have happened to her, and he blindly hates her after having supposedly loved her not that long prior.

He wants to find her and kill her in revenge. Cue many flashbacks that tell the story of how they fell for each other. Khal refuses to let Celeste explain herself, threatening to kill her if she even tries to broach the subject. Because he won't let her explain herself, he maintains his revenge-hungry douche status and meanwhile struggles with his conflicting emotions and boners.

The plot wasn't terribly engaging. The twist or hook or whatever toward the end was incredibly blatant and only an imbecile wouldn't see it coming. There are some grammar issues (sewing doubt, etc.) and I would have preferred if the internal monologue was offset in some way. Instead, we have the writing going from 'he did this' directly to 'I'm doing that' with no indication of a separate voice: "He gaped down at her. Surely I'm dreaming. Then she set back in." The characters are pretty static and not terribly interesting or complex in addition to behaving stupidly. The sexybits weren't awful.

It wasn't a bad read, just entirely forgettable.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book provided to me. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Kristen had the perfect balance of alpha men and strong-loving women. I have missed this world and am so happy to dive back in. Of course, I wouldn’t mind hearing about a dragon baby.... maybe a white dragon baby breathing ice...taking after their mother...hint hint.

Prince Khalstorm Belmont doesn’t trust witches. Especially since his fiancee was murdered by one. Ten years ago, he once had feelings for one, but he saw something that can never be unseen. Now that time has passed, he has gotten word that a witch is being held captive and wants nothing more than to get her out and exact his revenge.

Celeste Songbird has been held captive for the past 10 years. Punishment for not following her mother’s orders. She wants nothing more than to make sure the one she fell in love with 10 years ago is alive than not know. Well, guess who shows up and freees her from her prison! Though the person in front of her is not the boy she fell in love with, but a man on a mission.

I love the back-and-forth flow with this book. I not only got to see the present from both characters' points of view, but we also got to read their past to see where things started and ended. I really liked the fact I didn’t have to get out a notebook to keep up with what was going on. I was able to read and continue rolling and loved to see the couple slowly come back together. Celeste and Khalstorm had a lot of things happen to them out of their control and they each handled it as best as they could. I must admit I wish the story was a tad bit longer, but I am otherwise very happy and never want the dragons to end!

Firstly, thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and Kiersten Fay for an eArc of Taken by the Dragon Prince in exchange for an honest review! :)

When reading the first page, we see Khalstorm imprisoned for a murder he didn't commit. I was intrigued in the first chapter, wanting to know the details as to why he was framed and to learn more about the world. I really enjoyed the fantasy aspects of this story. The battle scenes were fast paced, well written and also really exciting to read. I enjoyed the romance, however, was also confused by it most times. It all seemed very rushed. I would have liked to see more backstory for both characters as well as build up and chemistry. The murder committed was on Khalstorm's Fiancée - we don't learn much about her and their backstory. He was supposedly infatuated with Celeste while also being engaged. I wanted to know more about that engagement and why it was happening. But it could just be my fault for not reading the first three books! The dialogue, including internal, also left me slightly confused at times. It seemed Khalstorm had an accent sometimes and other times not.

Overall, it was an easy and quick read which I enjoyed. Gave me the fantasy and romance aspects I was expecting after reading the description before going into this. 2.5 stars rounded up to 3! After reading Taken by the Dragon Prince, it's made me want to read the first three to find out more about this world and its characters. This was my first read written by Kiersten Fay but it won't be my last.

Thanks again to the author, the publisher and to NetGalley!

The taste of revenge is sometimes bittersweet.

Khalstorm Belmont has been locked in the dungeons ever since the day he lost everything. Filled with rage towards a certain doe-eyed beautiful witch, he dreams of the ways he will exact his revenge. Celeste Songbird was captured by her coven’s leader and thrown in a cell to think of her betrayal and actions. She longs for freedom and regrets how she left things with Khalstorm. One fateful night, her sister is found in the castle that Khalstorm was locked in, and she demands they help her sister. As this chance is thrown his way, he volunteers to guide them through the maze that his castle was once known for. Throw in secrets, sorcery, betrayal, and feelings of love, lust, anger, and hurt, this book takes you on a whirlwind!

I loved this book to the point where I read it in one day! The action, adventure, secrecy, confusion, and bewildering scenes left me craving for more. This book is the fourth in the Dragon Lord series, but since each book is standalone, I was able to curb my curiosity. I enjoyed reading the different POVs and learning about the character’s inner turmoil. The author explained everything in minuscule detail and in a way that enthralled you while keeping you on your toes.

I also enjoyed how I was able to imagine everything especially the forest that they were running in. The traps, poison leaves, fresh berries, and hidden rooms, all added to the book’s plot and ongoing events.

I received this book from NetGalley for my honest review and I loved every word of it!

I'm not really sure if these books count as paranormal romance or sci-fi. While their characters are made up of witches and dragon shifters, the action takes place on another planet. In previous books that I've read, that has been a little more evident, although this one has little of that.
Khalstorm has lost everything and now finds himself locked in prison. He one-time lover, Celeste, has also lost everything, including the love of Khalstorm. When they meet again, it's clear that Celeste must try and convince him of the truth, or he will kill her.
This is a second-chance romance with an enemies-to-lovers element. Khalstorm and Celeste make a great couple and they work really well because they are both incredibly strong in their own way, but also have weaknesses. I enjoyed watching Khalstorm learn the truth about Celeste and be able to accept his feelings for her.
I did feel that the end was a little rushed, almost as though the author had run out of steam in that last little section. A bit of a shame, but not one that reduced my enjoyment too much.
This was a fast-paced romance and one that kept me turning the pages as I tried to discover what would happen with this interesting couple. I'd love to return to this world again soon and read more of some of the other characters.
I received a complimentary copy of this book through NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own and given voluntarily

Thank you to Kiersten Fay and NetGalley for the opportunity to review Taken by the Dragon Prince! SUMMARY: Dragon shifter Prince Khalstorm lost everything and has been imprisoned for a crime he didn’t commit. He escapes and seeks out Celeste, the witch he holds accountable and his former flame. He finds her being held captive and decides to take her as his own prisoner. Can they overcome their past to survive and evade being captured again? REVIEW: Taken by the Dragon Prince is a fast-paced story of enemies to lovers and second chance love. I enjoyed the banter and flirting between Khalstorm and Celeste. This book is part of a series and I wish I had known that when starting. The first chapter is right in the middle of the action and does feel a bit disorienting, as there are characters we meet, but don’t receive much description about. I think this also impacted the world-building, as I would have liked to have seen more about the dragons and the witches. Khalstorm and Celeste’s story is told in real-time and through a series of flashbacks. I think this should be pointed out because the plot heavily relies on the flashbacks. Taken by the Dragon Prince mostly met expectations. It’s a quick read with some tension and steamy scenes. I am dropping stars from the rating because I felt the blurb was missing some key elements and because the book had quite a number of errors and typos that warrant another round of editing.

Taken by the Dragon Prince had me gripped from the very first chapter. Kiersten Fay masterfully blends fantasy, romance, and emotional depth in a way that made it nearly impossible to put the book down. Prince Khalstorm is the ultimate brooding alpha, torn between vengeance and a love that refuses to die, while Celeste is a fierce and complex heroine who's as powerful in vulnerability as she is in magic.

The chemistry between them is explosive, and their history adds so much weight to every glance, every touch, every moment of hesitation. It’s not just a romance, it’s a beautifully layered tale of betrayal, redemption, and rediscovering love in the ashes of heartbreak.

And the world-building? So immersive. I could feel the heat of the dragons, the chill of the dungeons, and the raw tension in every encounter.

This is enemies-to-lovers done right, with just the right balance of spice, soul, and supernatural intrigue. If you love fantasy romance with real emotional stakes and characters who feel everything deeply, this one’s for you.

I’ll definitely be diving into the rest of the Dragon Lords series. Kiersten Fay deserves way more visibility for the magic she’s creating.

All Khalstrom has been thinking about since the day his parent and fiance were killed and he was thrown into the dungeons is revenge. When a witch comes to his jailers with a proposal that will both get him out of the dungeon, and take him right to the person who wrecked his life made even worse because they were in love, Khalstrom hopes he will not only get the revenge he's due but also get this person to tell the truth about what happened so he can finally be free.

But, once Khalstom sees Celeste (the person he thinks is responsible) all his feelings for her come rushing back, so his feelings are going back and forth between anger and love. He doesn't want to forgive he, but she isn't acting the way a cold-blooded murderer should act.

While this is a shorter story it doesn't feel that way. From the very beginning, there is a ton of action and great fight scenes between dragons and witches. A great second chance love story with sizzling chemistry, and a happy ending.

I can't wait to see what's in store next for our favorite dragons!

Thank you to author for providing this book to me in exchange for my honest opinion.

I love the Dragon Lords series by Kiersten Fay. It is a series that introduced me to the more spicy books and I will forever love the world this series is taking place.

But despite all that this book felt weak. The characters were flat with very little background, I am used to Kiersten having much more in store for us. The chemistry between the main couple was also somehow weak. This whole book felt like the author was not really into it herself. The plot line is never very complex in this series, which is perfectly fine with me, however the book 4 was even weaker in this regard.

I love that there is a draft of a much bigger plot line (fight between evil and good) that I hope we will see more of in the next books. I do want to get the closure between the dragon and witch war.

I am so sorry that this book was little bit of a disappointment. But I will definitely read the next one too I am now too invested in this world.

🐉 Taken by the Dragon Prince by Kiersten Fay 🐉

Between spicy scenes and the lower page number of Taken by the Dragon Price I didn’t have high hopes for a strong plot. I am delighted to report that I was wrong. The second-chance trope allows for a flashback plot structure that weaves steam and story together seamlessly. Fay was economic I how she used conversions from the past to help solve problems in the present.

Generally speaking, the characters didn’t have wild development arcs, but again, when I consider the novella length I respect what was accomplished.

My only real complaint is that the ending felt rushed. I think even an extra two pages would have helped considerably.

Overall, this was a immersive and enjoyable read. I will gladly read anything by Fay in the future and won’t hesitate to recommend it to people with similar tastes to myself.

Prince Khalstorm has spent his time in prison dreaming about getting his revenge on the witch who betrayed him. But when he gets his chance, nothing is as he thought and old feelings return with a vengeance.

This was a nice, easy read (which you don’t find a lot in fantasy books). StoryGraph says it’s 400+ pages but it certainly didn’t feel that long and only took me like half a day to read.
There was a bit of mystery, magic, dragons and romance. I liked that it was dual POV because then we saw that behind both of their snarky banter was them actually just wanting to make out a bit. Love a good enemies to lovers!

The ending was a bit abrupt and I wasn’t quite expecting it to end like that. Not sure if there is going to be more books in the series or not, so that may be why…

Thanks to #NetGallery and the publisher. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Prince Khalstorm Belmont has been locked up for almost a decade for the murder of his betrothed, right after his father had killed his mother whilst under the influence of magic. He had found Celeste, one of the witches in a deputation visiting his home, over the victim's body before she vanished and he was left holding the bag (well, knife).

Now that very same witch has turned up in the dungeon and is vowing to free him. A ghostly apparition claims to be the sister of Celeste Khalstrom and offers to help Celeste in return for his freedom. The true perpetrator and the method of the murder are revealed throughout the book and I can say, without a doubt, that she definitely deserved a sticky end!

Khalstorm and Celeste's story is 3rd person, Dual POV, 2nd Chance romance, intserspecies, lovers to enemies. forced proximity. Misplaced blame, black magic fuelled distrust, hot clinches without being OTT.

It's a tale of the dragon world alongside witches, some of whom are wicked.

Krarlstrom is a dragon prince who falls in love with a witch. Not something that is well thought of, but the heart wants what it wants. He loses everything in his kingdom all the while, planning his revenge on Celeste. He blames her for a murder that she didn't commit. He doesn't want to listen to reasons. Her mother is a calculated,, manipulative and a wicked witch. She uses her power to bend others to her will. She nearly succeeds, but Krarlstrom sees through her at the last minute. Will he exact his revenge? Will he see the truth for what it is?

There is plenty of action and danger is around every corner. There is some suspense too, but the sexual scenes are overly descriptive. It's a fair read. I was given a free ARC from Netgalley and the views expressed are my personal opinion.

Four and a half
I really enjoyed this story about a Dragon Prince wrongly accused of murder and the Witch who he believes is really responsible. Yes it did feel a little short but there's solid story telling that fits very well into this world the author has created. I particularly loved their initial exchanges as Khalstorm was completely bamboozled by the responses and behaviour of Celeste which definitely made me smile. Of course there's a happy ending but it's not without its challenges and not everyone gets their just deserts so I'm certainly looking forward to reading more in this series.
This voluntary take is of an advanced copy and my thoughts and comments are honest and I believe fair

Dragons and Witches oh My!!

First off I have to say I love this series. I never thought I would enjoy Sci-fi romance but there you go.

Khalstorm lost everything at the hands of a witch and he wants revenge.

Khalstorm was bombarded by a confounding combination of emotions at seeing Celeste’s slight form chained, caged, and filthy.

Celeste has been imprisoned for betraying her coven. Her kind heart wouldn’t let her harm another human being. She has no hope of ever escaping.

“One way or another I would have discovered which was the real you.

This fast paced short story is absolutely amazing. I hope there are many more to come. The Dragons are alpha hot and grumpy. There mates are strong and companionate. Everything I look for in a 5 Star read.

I received this advanced reader's copy of the book through NetGalley. Thank you to the author Kiersten Fay and her publisher, Victory Editing for sending me the E-Book copy. My review is my own honest opinion and I was not compensated.

For someone who jumped in on the fourth installment of this series, even though this is a standalone, I was worried I would be confused and want to put the book down. I can safely say that this book, though part of the Dragon Lords Series, is entertaining and flows as if I had read all four books. I wasn't left with questions on world-building or character development.

I now want to go and read the first three so I can really dive into the backstories of some of the other characters.

TbtDP by K. Fay is book four in the Dragon Lords Series. Eveyr book is anout another couple and can be read as a stand-alone. For best reading experience I recommend to read the books in order.
This is Khalstorm and Celeste's story.
Prince Khalstorm Belmont has lost everything. After long years he's free again. But he's an angry man. At the world, at karma, at his fate and not least at Celeste.
When he gets his hands on Celeste Songbird he doesn't know to do. He's torn between love and revenge.
TbtDP is a read that gives all the feels. Complex, fast paced, drama laden, action packed had me the book in suspense from start till the last page.

Taken by the dragon prince is book 4 in the Dragon Lords series.

This is Celeste and Khalstorm story,

Shifters? Check. Romance? Check. Action? double check.

Revenge and misunderstandings makes for a great plot. Love how the characters grow during the story and they are super relatable.

It was a super quick read for me as it was not a long book. I like how easy the story flows as it makes it very enjoyable to read.

I would reccomend it to any paranormal romance readers out there.

I received this ARC copy via NetGally but all thoughts, comments and opinions are my own
compelling characters, vivid world-building

A fallen prince Khalstrom gets a chance to vengeance for a great betrayal against his family and clan. But what he doesn't count on is having a second chance in love. Celeste can't believe it when she is rescued from several years of her covens imprisonment but will she change one prison for another? Both are on the run, exhausted, tired, and trying to survive will the truth set them free? Another good book in the series, a book full of suspense and secrets makes another dragon fall for a witch.

Taken by the Dragon Prince is the fourth book in the Dragon Lords series.
I really liked the world building. I liked the main characters. They both have a heartbreaking stories and a complicated past. However, I think despite their tragic and complicated pasts they managed to find each other.
I think teh switches from past and present are too frequently. That's what I didn't like about this book.
If you are in the mood of enemies to lovers, second chance romance with dragons and some spice the you should read this book.

I like the book overall, it was well written and the story was concise. It was a dual POV romance which I enjoyed with a second chance trope which is something I’m not usually very into but in this book it wasn’t overdone or pushed too much.

The one thing I have to say is that I think I would have enjoyed this book a lot more if I read them in order and I could build rapport with each of the characters whereas instead I found myself jumping into the middle. Therefore, although it can be read as a standalone book it’s not something that I would recommend.
