My thoughts: 🔖Page 83 of 178 Ch. 12 - I'm not feeling these storylines at all.
I thought about this story for a while after finishing it because I was so annoyed. Not much has changed but my review will be nicer in tone. I didn't like this story. The MC wasn't one of the Sheridan sisters or Montgomery cousins but surprised sibling Andrew's LI from book 5 and I didn't care much for that story either. Beth is selfish and self-centered in my opinion, but what I dislike is that the other characters mostly encourage her choices and opinions as if she wasn't in the wrong. This plot features one of my least favorite tropes, twice, and they are both handled poorly. I don't understand how we got the ending we did other than it's pure fiction.
Recommend to others: Maybe. There are often lulls in series this is the one you'll either move on from, try to enjoy, or abandon the series over.

Didn't love this one as much as the others, I feel like not a whole lot happened. I guess by book 10 or so you start to run out of plot twists? Still sticking with it because it looks like the next book has a good one and I really do love the characters.
I do like that, while I prefer to read these as a series, the author does a great job of giving you the Cliff Notes version of the important parts of the backstories without repeating each book too much. That's a talent and helpful if you're reading any of these as standalones.

A Vineyard Blessing is book 10 in the Vineyard Sunset series by Katie Winters. We are back with the Sheridan-Montgomery families for Thanksgiving. Another well written book, twists, turns, tears, dreams, blessings and love will keep you reading to see where the story goes…
This series is so family oriented and doesn’t shy away from anything. The autism representation was fantastic. The author did a great job showing how hard it is on relationships when everything isn’t “perfect”. What is perfect? To me perfection is what you want it to be, not what others consider it to be. Beth shows us the hardships she faces as a single parent of an autistic child but also shows us the joy of parenting an autistic child. Every child is a blessing and miracle.
Andy and Beth go through so much to get to their wedding and it seems the world is against them. What they must determine is if they have the strength and courage to fight for their love.
I continue to find editorial mistakes. The story lines remain interesting but they should be more closely edited to prevent reader confusion, e. g., mixing up Will with Alex.
A Vineyard Blessing by Katie Winters is a 2021 publication.
This is another Katie Winters holiday themed novella centered around Thanksgiving. In this installment- number ten in the series- The Sheridan/Montgomery families are preparing for a wedding and Thanksgiving all at the same time.
Unfortunately, Beth, the future bride, is starting to have second thoughts, which causes her fiancé, Andy, to begin harboring a few doubts of his own.
This story has a slight edge to it and could feel a little intense sometimes. Bothe MCs have troubled backgrounds and suffered losses- but a few unexpected twists add another layer of stress on the couple- and I admit I got a bit caught up in their drama.
For a short book it does feel sufficiently fleshed out so that I wasn’t left feeling like I needed more from the story in depth or characterizations. I liked the way it all came together in the end and the lovely HEA for both families- and the double blessings they celebrated at Thanksgiving.
Overall, an absorbing story with some touching moments and a lovely conclusion.
*Content: The story is ‘clean’ but there are adult situations that prevent it from fully falling into the ‘wholesome’ category.
A Vineyard Blessing: The Vineyard Sunset Series Book 10 is by Katie Winters. Once more Katie has written a fantastic book about the Montgomery-Sheridan families. The characters are so fully developed that it seems as they are part of the family. She has the reader sit down in the snow, or lobby, or on the ground with the characters and get to know then as family. Like families, you get to see them all face to face, warts and all. Beth and Andy are engaged and his sisters are planning a wedding for them at their parents’ home. They are talking about flowers and dresses and cakes while Beth is on the outside looking in. She is having cold feet about marrying Andy, although she loves him. Her autistic son, Will, is exhibiting tantrums and anger at the idea of Andy being part of their family when just the other day, he thought Andy was great. Was she pushing too fast for a wedding? Then, as if things weren’t bad enough, Will’s father returns to the island. This is the first time he has been back in ten years. Why is he back and what does he want?
This book is the story of war Veteran Andy & Beth. They have set a wedding date and are deeply in love. But Beth is dealing with an autistic son Will, who is suddenly acting out. Beth feels these are due to the changes she is pushing on him while she dates and plans a wedding. She is seriously conflicted by her love of Andy and her commitment to motherhood that she has always done alone.
This book is sadder than the previous books, I love the way Katie has written and delved into the different dynamics that go with raising an autistic child. And how hard it can be for many of us to accept the help we need.
There are many curve balls thrown at Beth through out this book, but Beth hasn’t come this far alone to cave into what life is throwing at her. This story is all about acceptance and learning to get past what life throws sometimes!
Keep reading till the end, you’ll love the way it all comes together for the benefit of everyone in the end!
Katie Winters tells a story focusing on Beth, her autistic son Will and Beth's fiancé, Andy. Coping with the problems of an autistic son is difficult for Beth, and she tries to make things easier for Will. Troubled by Will's outbursts, Beth wants to put her happiness on hold and do everything to make life better for him. There are many surprises in the book, resulting in an engrossing read. Winters' imagination easily draws the reader in and I was very happy with all the unexpected plot points. I highly recommend this book.
Be still my heart…such a beautiful book! Katie Winters has taken the broken pieces of several lives and one by one glued them back together again…making them stronger than they were before! Get ready to cry your eyes out, laugh in places until your sides hurt, and shake your head in wonder at some of the strangest situations.
The storyline is totally kick ass, the characters incredibly drawn, the plot twists and turns crazy good, and the HEA? Oh Lordy—it’s freaking amazing! You really need to grab this book today. You’ll be so glad you did! ❤️
This story is all about Beth and Andy - but also about accepting help from others, especially those you love. Will also learns how to let others in - which can be so hard for an autistic kid who loves structure and hates change. Lovely story and Katie Winters really knows how to grow her characters. You really feel like you are part of the Sheridan-Montgomery family.
This lovely novel chronicles the lives of a couple who had been teenagers in live and then list each other for many years. They meet again and resume this lost romance. The get married on Martha's with their families and friends surrounding them. I highly recommend this novel and look forward to the next book in the series. Renee Goldberg rgoldberg227@gmail.com
A Vineyard Blessing was such a good book. Beth is an amazing woman. She raised an autistic child by herself. Will is such an amazing boy. Andy reconnects with Beth. They have their ups and downs. This book is so good and shows how much a mother loves her son. Katie Winters, I applaud you on this wonderful moving book. This is an amazing series. My next book in the series is A Vineyard Christmas Guest. I can't wait to read it.
A beautiful story of Beth and Andy and their quest for a chance at love. Beth has struggled as a single parent with an autistic child. Her dreams are within reach, but new issues arise that complicate her decisions. A lovely visit with the Sheridan-Montgomery clan that surrounds Thanksgiving celebrations and blessings of love abound. I received this arc for an honest review.
Andy and Beth are so in love and want to get married but something is wrong and Andy is in the dark'. Will is Beth's artestic son and he is starting to act out and Beth is lost. Will's father has return to the island and wants to know his son but know nothing about artistic and thinks it is her fault. Beth is scared.
Beth and Andy has found true love in this book and they just want to be together and live like a normal family with Will, Beth's son. Will all that change when Beth finds out a big surprise, or when suddenly a stranger comes into their lives, or when Will has several panic attacks? Read and find out how true live survives.
This is a beautiful story by Katie Winters. She is able to write about real life situations that when fused with love, forgiveness, and family produces a beautiful ending! Life is not easy, but it is sure worth living!
Cute story of how family is not just what it appears to be….. Truth, grace, forgiveness and love bring many together in ways we sometimes forget to see.
I really enjoyed this story that centered around Beth and Andy. They are engaged but are they going to get married. They seem to have a lot on their plate including the father of Will. This is a page turner because you want to see what happens. A VERY GOOD READ.
Another great story in this series. Each story focuses primarily on one or two people in this extended family, this one centered on long lost brother Andy and his girlfriend Beth. Just enough strife and a happy ending!
Sweet, but not one of my favorites in the series. Beth was too upright, going to extremes at times. If you happen to read the series out of order, whether on purpose or accidently, do not worry, all the other stories in the series are absolutely precious.
