Think of a question – any question! (okay, maybe not a question like "what was the name of my physics teacher?"). Then turn to a page, and experience the magic… the magic of F**k It. We all have questions. And the bestselling F**k It books have provided answers to hundreds of thousands of people around the world. The F**k It philosophy – of not worrying so much, of letting go more, of caring less what others think and doing your own thing – has provided answers that work in real life, every day.In F**k It Is the Answer, John C. Parkin adds another element to the F**k It by inviting you to ask your question, and then turn randomly to a page that offers you a F**k It-style answer, he recruits the magical powers of your own unconscious… or ‘fate’… or ‘spirit’… or whatever it is that seems to guide us to the correct answers when we allow it. So this book is about ‘allowing it’. Just as F**k It is about ‘allowing it’ – relaxing, trusting, going with the flow, and allowing the magic to happen. This book is F**k It taking the powerful wisdom of F**k It, and then recruiting whatever worldly or unworldly magic it is that makes this work.Make no mistake work it does. So… ask your question, and turn to a page.
F**k It Is the Answer 4 Fuck it stars This book is like a magic fuck it 8 ball It has pages like : Fuck it is it really such a bad thing? And ask a child… take the easiest road. So why not 5 stars… platforms. Honestly this book has no business on a kindle app nor any business on a reader. This book needs to be hardback only and left on a coffee table for random people to play the fuck it 8 ball game. Its silly and funny. I requested this book via netgalley and the publisher and was given an ARC of this. And I just have so many laughs the weird questions I ask and get answers for Will I get married before I am 30?? ---*flips to random fuck it page*---answer---- in a word, no. Buahaha it’s a fun little book.
This one is a fantastic addition and goes along nicely with "the way of f**k it", and I'm very happy that I read them one after the other. I know this one is designed to be used occasionally, when necessary, but I wanted to read this cover to cover and sticky label the ones I liked so I could jump between those when I need the book.
These are fabulous answers to life's troubling questions and I found it very quirky, amusing at times and incredibly motivating. It made my heart feel a little fuzzy in the end of it, actually, and I'm happy that I read through them all.
I adore how this book has played around with type - it adds a really interesting twist to it and I love how the words appear on the page; they're often contorted to fit the message of the text itself and I think that's a fascinating addition. I love the way typography was used in this; it's one of my ultimate favourite things about it (and I couldn't help but sticky tab a lot of them because of the type itself). A brilliant addition!
I've definitely picked this up at a time in my life where I need answers and motivating mottos, and this offered me just that - and I would 100% recommend you read it if you're in the same place.
F**k it. Even if you're not in the same place - pick it up.
F**k it. If this doesn't sound like your cup of tea, try it. You never know what may come of it!
The whole F**k It philosophy has now spanned across a few books, essentially a simplistic way of looking at life and issues, say F**k It more often. Should be good right? Sadly not.
This book has a bit of a "book oracle" format, in that you think of a question and turn to any page and VOILA! there will be your answer. Not the first book like this in publication, many new age books and other spiritually themed books use this method. Not scientifically proven of course. It's described a bit like the magic eight ball (except it's a square book not a round ball).
I thought it would be fun, but it wasn't. The content is not good enough for that. Obviously it's nothing to take seriously, but to not even be fun was a real shame. It just lacks substance and a certain "oomph" to carry the message it sends.
If you are a hard core fan of the whole F**k It philosophy, you may like this for your collection. Everyone else, make your own mind up. I experimented with it and read it then said "Well F**k It that was a waste of time".
I received a copy of this book thanks to the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
So, I've read this book in one intense pooping session.
Yes, I'm serious. That's just how much time you need to finish it, assuming you're reading it in the traditional, left-to-right, cover-to-cover way. It says this is not the way you're supposed to read it, instead you should just ask a question, open the book and see the answer.
I've given it a 2/5 for the design, I'm assuming it would look even better on paper (I had it in ebook format), but that's about it. There isn't a content or anything else that I can comment on unless I'm expected to review the introduction and the end.

And this book provides us a way to channel all our energy into f**cking it, not giving a damn, but on a spiritual level. It does not make you feel guilty about being so carefree, instead this particular book tells you how f**k it is the answer to all your problems, questions, nagging doubts. As it turns out, this is a book in a series of such books where the authors have brought forward the f**k it therapy. I did not know about it before, and now upon seeing how successfully the whole mechanism is going on, the book begins to make sense. The first read made me feel all nauseous and I doubted if it was all just a parody. Sooner rather than later did I realize that this book was in fact re-iterating a strategy so that it becomes a chant for the reader. Certainly, the book helped me chant the apparently magical words to get through all questions: whether it be lack of focus, or lack of perspective. F**k it is the answer to all situations according to the book. Although I haven't be able to comprehend in entirety what logical difference this strategy makes in times of difficulties or dilemmas, I will admit that it is at least a vent to the pent-up emotions.
I do not think the idea translated well to the e-reader version of this book. I think it would be a lot more successful as a coffee-table book. The formatting of the ebook made this book difficult to follow, even with random flips to different pages. F**ck It was not as entertaining as I thought it would be and I honestly got a little bored with it. Eventually, I was saying F**ck It to flipping to anymore pages. Stick with hard copies.

This was nothing that I thought it would be & was sorely lacking in all it could have been. Not sure if the fact that I had a digital copy made the reading experience worse or not but it was very repetitive & just formatted strangely. You'd be better off with one of those Magic 8 Ball toys if you were looking for some humorous guidance.

Thought-provoking, creative, and hilarious, F**k It Is the Answer is the Magic 8 Ball of books. While the NetGalley format was at times difficult to read, it nonetheless inspired me to look at decision-making in a new way, whether it be to contemplate the background of an issue before choosing or to pick at random, it gave me plenty of new ideas.
I just finished the Net Galley pre-publication version of this book. I found it whimsical and fun. Do I think this book is going to start a new philosophical movement? Of course not! It's pure fun. Turn to any page and get advice, or just come right out and say F**K It! Frankly, I have a number of friends who probably could use a copy of this book. In fact, it may make great stocking stuffers this year.
Not the kind of book you read cover-to-cover, more the kind of book you leave on the coffee table and play with when your friends come round.
I quite like the philosophy, but do find I keep asking the same question over and over again until I land on an answer that suits me, which kind of makes it a bit pointless really!
**thanks to netgalley for this book inexchange foran honest review**
Well that was an interesting book. It was cute. Looking torah answer to whether you should or shouldn't? Flip to any page in the book, and ban, you'll have your answer. I was entertained.
I'd seen the series floating around and thought I'd give this one a whirl considering how small it is. I really don't get the appeal. Not only does it seem a given, usually, what it has to say, but i got bored pretty quickly. Obviously not for me, but I can understand the appeal people have to it.
