Carson and Lana were supposed to be enemies. They were for a while when they both ran for President of the Texas Cattleman's club. Carson won that one but Lana is not done yet. She's determined to get a space at the club for the women ranchers to gather. Visiting Carson's great grandfather the opportunity arises to to settle the feud that's been going on for years and get the funding for Lana's project. They just have to pretend they're in love and fake a engagement. Sounds easy right. I enjoyed this quick read. Lana and Carson have preconceived notions about each other. Once they decide to team up for what will benefit them both and others they see they have more in common than they thought. This is a great evening of reading. Curl up in front of the fireplace and enjoy.

Good enemies-to-lovers story combined with a fake engagement. Lana and Carson are among the younger generation of two families that have been feuding for a hundred years, though no one can recall how it started. Each family's members have been raised to hate the other side, though the younger ones are ready to move on. Most recently, the feud has been front and center because Lana and Carson ran against each other for the presidency of the Texas Cattleman's Club. The race is over, with Carson coming out on top, but Lana refuses to melt into the background. The story opens as she approaches Carson with her proposal for a dedicated area for the women of the TCC.

Carson has plans for the TCC, and Lana's proposal falls far down the list. Both are stubborn and determined, and neither is willing to give in. The sparks of attraction between them are pretty obvious under the antagonism. When circumstances cause them to visit Carson's great-grandfather, Harmon, together, he mistakes a moment between them for something entirely different. He wants the feud between the families to end and believes what he witnessed is Carson and Lana's precursor to announcing their engagement. With his promise of a large donation to the TCC in celebration, Carson and Lana decide to fake an engagement until the money is safely handed over.

I enjoyed seeing the development of the relationship between Carson and Lana. They are so much alike that it is no wonder that they constantly butted heads, though neither was willing to admit it. But now that they are working together, they can no longer deny the similarities or the attraction. Their conversational back and forth is fun to watch. Their chemistry is explosive, and giving into it is irresistible. Carson and Lana agree that it's only for the duration of their engagement, and no emotions will be involved (HA!). The more time they spend together, the more it feels right, but the guilty feelings over the deception start to weigh on them. I loved how everyone around them could see they belonged together, but Carson resisted the idea. It takes a conversation with Harmon for Carson to see the light. Lana also has fears that hold her back from admitting her feelings. I liked Carson's big moment at the end and how he helped Lana overcome her fears.

Two mysteries have been running through the series. First is the question of who the father of baby Micah is. He is known to be a member of the TCC, but that is all. This mystery is briefly addressed when the DNA results clear one of the members. The other thread has been Harmon Wentworth's search for the identity of his birth mother, which may be linked to the origins of the Wentworth-Langley feud. A journalist has been busily investigating, but the answers come from an unexpected source.

Feuding families, fake engagements and chemistry so hot it could down the TCC..

Carson Wentworth is the new president of the TCC and he wants to secure the funds being allocated by his great-grandfather, but to do this he needs the help of his opponent from the election, Lana Langley. They would have a fake romance and engagement and also it will go a long way to finding out why their families were enemies and what started this rift between the two families.

This has all the things we love about a Harlequin Desire, and nobody does it better than Jules Bennett. She gives us a couple that has passion and conflict jumping off the pages. Carson and Lana have the same goal to better the TCC, and to do so they have to work together. There was one thing they never saw coming and that was that in the end their hearts would be involved. I loved how they were both concerned about Carson’s great-grandfather and he would have his wishes granted as he neared the end of his life. And Carson and his father at odd’s because does not believe them. There are a few characters that have been through all this series of the TCC and I like that they have been brought into this book too.. This book will have you turning the pages to see what will come up next with couple as they manage this fake relationship and dealing with the passion, they feel for one another and find out will the heart win.

Thank you, Jules, for allowing me to have an advance copy of this fantastic book and I look forward to more of your wonderful books.

From Feuding to Falling is the fourth installment in the Texas Cattleman's Club: Fathers and Sons series but can be read as a stand alone. This is an enemies to lovers, fake engagement story. Carson Wentworth and Lana Langley were both raised to hate each other because of a feud that started over a hundred years ago. After losing the presidency of the TCC to Carson, Lana is still determined to make her campaign promises come true for the women of the club and she also wants to discover what started the feud. She plans to visit Carson's great-grandfather to talk about the history of the families and Carson tags along. When his great-grandfather sees the two of them entering together, he thinks they are together and ending the feud. Carson convinces Lana to go along with the lie to make his great-grandfather happy and because of the money Harmon is donating to the club. Lana reluctantly agrees to the lie just until their engagement party. The sparks between the two cannot be denied so they also agree to a mutually beneficial fling which will end when the month is up but feelings develop and saying goodbye may not be so easy. This is a wonderfully written, page turning engagement that will have you captured until the very last sentence.

I received an advanced reader copy from the publisher but all thoughts and feelings are my own.

I have mixed feelings about this book. I loved the chemistry between the hero and heroine, it singed my ereader (almost). I loved the banter and cheekiness between the two of them. This is part 4 of this series “Fathers and Sons” of the Texas Cattleman’s Club and I haven’t read the other parts so I kind of missed some information, but perhaps that was just me. I loved to read about a woman who loves and diplays her curves and enjoys to see if men can handle all that feminity. I adored the way Carson was determined not to let his heart reign, but failed in that determination. It’s a well written story with lots of hotness, cheeky banter and sexiness, so chapeau Ms Bennett!

So happy to have another TCC book by Jules Bennett. This was a page turning great story. Loved the story of Carson and Lana. They are both wildcats but have more in common than either realize. They both ran for club president where they snipped and snapped at each other. Carson is now the president of the club. When Lana comes to him to ask to have a woman's lounge added she is shot down but she is not one to back down! She fights for what she wants. Sierra the reporter being nosy in all things Royal is there to see all this. She is in the background of the story. When Lana wants to see Carson's great grandfather, Carson is dead set against it but once there things steamroll and Harmon gives them an idea that they roll with. Can they go a month acting like they are engaged? Can they do it without falling in love since their families are sworn enemies? You are kept on your toes reading what it going to happen between them next. You can feel their sparks leap from the page. Love the enemies to lovers fake relationship books!

Carson and Lana were running against each other for President of the Cattlemans Association. Lana wanted to win because she wanted to build a wing for just the women of the Association. Carson wanted to win because he had improvements he wanted to make. When Carson won Lana thought she was gonna get him to do what she wanted and that was build this wing.

Harmon is Carson's grandfather and he wants the feud between the families fixed. He is 100 years old. So to make Harmon happy and get a huge donation from him they came up with this engagement.

Once they started trying to pretend they were engaged they started acting on their chemistry. The pictures they took made them really look like a truly happy couple. Neither wants a true commitment, will things work out for them and they get a big donation or is the fake engagement a real one.

Check out the book you won't be disappointed. I really could not put it down.

What a terrific book! It combines two of my favorite things - - a harlequin romance and the Texas Cattleman’s Club, what could be better. I love the characters and their chemistry is there from the get-go plus we get a little mystery to solve as well. I really enjoyed Carson and Lana but when they were together ‘faking’ their engagement, they were ‘faking’ it a little too well in my opinion. Who knew what would happen in the 30 days that this relationship would last and I also like how both Harmon and Tate called their bluff and who knew that Tate of all people would be able to figure out the mystery and I loved that when the mystery was solved that the initials were the same, that was a nice little connection. I loved the way this story ended for Carson and Lana but when I got to the last page, I wanted more story and more of this couple.

From Feuding to Falling is Jules Bennett’s contribution to the Texas Cattleman’s Club: Fathers and Sons series. The Langley’s and Wentworth’s had been feuding for a hundred years. Nothing could stop the family feud even when Lana and Carson vie for the presidency of the TCC.

When a reporter tries to uncover the story behind the family drama, a simple touch sets off a fake engagement. Will Lana and Carson successfully carryout the engagement? Will they discover the reason behind the feud?

From Feuding to Falling is a wonderful story which I highly recommend. If you enjoy reading an enemies to lovers, or fake engagement themed story, this is for you! I received an advance copy which I chose to read and review. This is my honest opinion.

From Feuding To Falling is the fourth book in the Texas Cattlemen’s Club series and a great story! I enjoyed reading the story of Carson and Lana, two highly driven and competitive people who were both running for President of the Cattlemen’s Club. Their families had been involved in a long-standing feud for years and now Carson’s grandfather Harmon wanted it to end. Harmon misunderstood when Carson and Lana came to visit him. An innocent lie is told which than snowballed into a temporary arrangement from which feelings change from being competitors to much more! Jules Bennett is exceptional at capturing the special moments and feelings of the hero and heroine as they struggle to find their way. My heart was fully involved throughout the whole book! Wonderful story!

Excellent Read. Carson and Lana both ran for their club president, but Carson won. It had not been an easy campaign as they were both very headstrong people. When circumstances had them pretending to be engaged, they became very close. I mean VERY close. Sparks flew, clothes flew off - it was HOT! Carson's family was not happy as there had been a feud between the two families for several generations. Could this stop the feud? I loved their characters and especially his great grandfather, Harmon. He was a sweetheart.

I got this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.

3.5 stars for the story of Lana and Carson. The love story itself is very enjoyable. Long time adversaries who agree to a fake engagement to placate Carson’s dying great-grandfather and get a large donation for their projects at the Texas Cattleman Club. Good romance and chemistry between these very likeable characters.

However, this story is part of the long running TCC series and there is a lot of ongoing storylines. While the author does a good job of trying to explain what’s going on to keep the mysteries going, it does get to be a lot, especially if you want to just read this as a stand-alone and are not a regular reader of the series.

Thanks to the author for a review copy.

I am really, really loving the Texas Cattleman’s Club series and From Feuding to Falling brings another level of depth to it!

This is a wonderful fake romance/engagement between the TCC’s new president, Carson Wentworth and his family’s rival family member, Lana Langley. I love how the hero and heroine in fake romances always try to think they can avoid falling for one another…I mean…haven’t they read romance novels??? HAHA.

I really enjoyed the characters in this! A typical Harlequin Desire romance, this one gives us the wonderful, strong personalities, the conflict, and the delicious romance storyline! Loved this quick read!

From Feuding to Falling:An Enemies to Lovers, faking it romance is part of the Texas Cattleman's Club series and is a good read. Carson Wentworth the President of the Texas Cattleman Club and Lana Langley only want what is good for the Cattleman Club and have battled in the past about the club , they are also from feuding families. To secure fund from his grandfather Carson and Lana enter into a fake romance and engagement. This book has strong characters, great chemistry, a battle of words and two characters who have deep concern about Carson's grandfather's feelings. This is a wonderful enemies to lovers story.
I received an ARC for a honest review.

Once again as in all the books in this series we get to the end knowing what happens with the couple good or bad. But, we are left hanging with the real final results missing. That is disappointing.
Both Lana and Carson have grown up together. But, they were taught the Langley and Wentworth families hated each other.
Carson and Lana are like oil and water and but smooth as silk. Fire sparks off of each one when they are together. Can the pull off a fake engagement to stop the Langley and Wentworth feud forever and make a great great grandfather happy.
At the end where do Tate and Hermon come in? Is blood really thicker than water?

Fast paced and highly entertaining! FROM FEUDING TO FALLING by Jules Bennett is the fourth book in the Texas Cattleman's Club: Fathers and Sons series for Harlequin Desire and this enemies to lovers story is sure to please TCC fans. The plot is quick to develop into a fake relationship between the longtime feuding Wentworth and Langley families and kept me watching throughout.

I recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys a high powered cast of the Texas elite working their way through business ventures, personal drama and happily ever afters.

Another great quick read.

Carson and Lana were both after the Cattleman's presidency. Carson got it. But the feud between their families runs deeper. A last wish from his great grandfather nets Carson a pretend fiancee.

Neither figured on falling for the other but it made for a great story.

Jules never disappoints. Carson and Lana have chemistry through the room….it practically flew off the pages. Carson and Lana fake an engagement and hopefully end a generations long feud between both families. What starts out as fake quickly turns into more. They are both strong-willed people but find they have so much in common. This book was a page turner from the first chapter!

Their families had been in feud for very long time. Now, he got job, she wants.
With everything going around them, they have to pretend to be together.
There is more, the feelings, are real.
Great story and nice addition to Texas Cattleman's Club.

Passion, mystery, competition – this book couldn’t be any better! Carson and Lana make this book a page turner between the competition and passion, with a little mystery added in. A definite read by Jules Bennett and a great continuation of the Texas Cattleman’s Club: Fathers and Sons series.

From fake engagement to real one. Carson and Lana are all about working together to end a century old feud between their families, all the while getting additional funds for expansion of the Texas Cattlemen's Club.

But what happens when feelings get involved? Why a HEA of course!

I read this book as a stand alone, so I can only speak to this story and not the entire series. I enjoyed the fake fiancee story line. Lana and Carson didn't always see eye to eye, but they did have some chemistry and were able to work through their differences. I loved how passionate they were about their causes and the way they worked together. This was a fun story and I do recommend reading it.
