Miss Erica Joyce is far more than the meek and gentle example of ideal womanhood her vicar father believes her to be. She has strong faith but rebels against the tight box her father wants to put her in and their recent move to Ireland gives her new opportunities to stretch her wings.
Lord Caelian O'Shea, Viscount Dervock, is obsessed with designing the first flying machine and his determination generates a lot of scandalous gossip, but no one can call him a rake. He's been an example of scandal-free behavior but now that he's met Erica, he's willing to risk all sorts of scandal to make sure they end up together.
This was a cute, light-hearted read and a fun distraction. The side characters were pretty annoying for me, especially Lady Coyle and Erica's father and a lot of the humor felt a bit slapstick. I also think this had less steam than Merry's books typically do and I'm not sure I felt much of the connection between Erica and Caelian. It just wasn't bursting off the page like her characters usually are. Nonetheless, I loved the fact that these two chose each other and were determined to be together no matter what and this was a fun read to pass the time with.

This is a very interesting tale of two people who are very much in love.
Erica and Caelian’s story is a funny and poignant story!

Another great addition to the wicked O'Shea family! This time with pastor's daughter Erica and O'Shea cousin Caelian!
Trying to build a flying machine and totally focused, the last thing Caelian expected was to meet a woman who got his attention! But beautiful Erica has done it!
Luckily for him, Erica is fascinated by his machine and wants adventure as much as him. Of course she finds him attracted and is drawn to him.
Fast pace, humor, crazy ideas and a love that cannot help but blossom!

I have to say this is the best so far. Dragons, flying, and secrets, Oh My! You can't go wrong on the top in Ireland. You have some appearances from the O'Shea family but for Caelian O'Shea, Viscount Dervock, he is the quiet, reserved member of the family being more scientifically incline. His fascination with aeronautics has him enthralled.
Miss Erica Joyce, reverend daughter and dreamer of adventure and excitement. She is pen-pal to Miss Ellen Garret of Haskell Wyoming (from another series). Erica takes an interest in the Dragon once she see what it can do.
Mr. Rory Feeney, a self made man that raised himself up out of poverty to own the largest cannery and other businesses. Lady Siobhan O'Shea is sister to Lord Caelian and a person that believes in woman's rights, can shoot a now better than most men in the area, and a firm remain single voiding marriage mind.
You will enjoy the shenanigans, double entendre witty banter, and solve a secret on the jaunt to visit !it's from the O'Shea family. With a contest to see who can get their flying machine off the ground and airborne the longest. Find out who get whom and who wins and the prise! Great characters await with laughter to brighten your day.

An O’Shea cousin gets his happily ever after and meets his match in Merry Farmer’s All the Single Viscounts. Caelian O’Shea is the owner of the flying machine affectionately nicknamed the Dragon that has been a secondary “character” in many of the O’Shea books in the series.
Miss Erica Joyce is the new minister’s daughter and was so excited to start an adventure to Ireland. So far, she has been a bit disappointed except when she speaks with Lord Caelian O’Shea. She is worried that her father will extol her womanly virtues ad nauseum and put Caelian off as untouchable. And boy does she want to be touched.
Caelian is working on the Dragon and getting more frustrated daily when it just won’t fly. When he meets Erica, he instantly wants to spend more time with the lovely lady. He is surprised when she asks to help him with the dragon and takes the initiative to kiss him!
Caelian and Erica fall quickly for each other, there is some steam in this book, and it will also make you laugh. There is a contest between flying machines and lots of fun. I highly recommend this book.

Oh how I love those O'Sheas! I was so looking forward to this latest installment and definitely was not disappointed! This brings us Caelian and Erica's story. Though she is a vicar's daughter, Erica refuses to be the meek, subservient girl everyone expects her to be. She has a mind of her own and though she is strong in her faith, she wants the opportunity to spread her wings. Caelian has primarily stayed scandal-free, being the more quiet and reserved member of the family- that is until Erica comes into his life. Now he is ready to throw all caution to the wind to be with her. I really enjoyed this fun, witty, and humorous addition to the O'Shea family tales. This family is just so absolutely delightful! I love reading about each one and their shenanigans. A wonderful addition to the series. Keep them coming, Ms Farmer! Highly recommended!

In this the latest, although fortunately not the last, book in the series the main characters are Erica, a vicar's daughter, and Lord Caelian O’Shea. Also involved are flying dragons, a self made man and a Viscount's sister.
These books have always been fun and this is no exception, two mismatched people who shouldn't be right for each other, yet somehow manage to fall for each other. With others trying to find a "more suitable" partner for both of them and interfering in their relationship the path isn't straightforward, together with a flying contest this book did keep me hooked right up to the end and I'm really looking forward to the next one.
I received an advance copy of this book from the author, however this did not influence my review of the book.

Another wonderful story about the O’Shea family. This time it’s Lord Caelian O’Shea and Miss Erica Joyce. Erica is the vicar’s daughter and was brought up to be prim and proper, which she definitely isn’t. Caelian is from the O’Shea family, so you know he is a bit of a rake, even though he doesn’t think so. From their first meeting, it was love at first sight. And that love grew as they spent more time together, especially when Erica started helping Caelian with his flying dragon. The only obstacle to their HEA is her father. How can they convince him that Caelian won’t leave her when he gets tired of her and that they truly do love each other? I loved the scenes with the flying dragon and them trying to get it to fly. Very enjoyable story.

Another great read!
I enjoyed reading about Caelian and Erica, how they met to how they fell in love. The first time they met was at the cottage of his cousins a kite came flying in and almost took off his head if would not have ducked, the kite belonged to Erica and she came running after it, he was struck speechless by her beauty. She took an interest in his flying machine called the Dragon, after a few tries they figured out that Erica should fly it and she did. Her father didn't think that Caelian would be interested enough in her to want to marry her, but her father was wrong Caelian wanted to marry her very badly. In the end it all worked out. I highly recommend this book! 👍👍👍👍❤❤❤❤

You have to love the O’Shea’s and that now includes Caelian. Erica, the Vicar’s daughter, is intrigued by Caelian and from here the fun starts. Their meetings are in secret as she helps with his flying machine and from here there is an instant attraction. The story is a comedy of errors as Siobhan is caught in a bet that does not go as planned. There is so much humor and romance in this story that it makes for a great read. I loved it and I would highly recommend it along with the other books in this series.

Knowing what the Wicked O'Shea's are like, you already know what to expect...
Something daring and so far out of the realm of the picture when you think about the higher Class Citizens in Royal England.
This time a love blossom not because of a O'Shea, but the young woman who is interested in the ways of the frontier in America...
The only problem, her unknown history and the strict Protestant Preacher who has a skewed view of what she is like.
It's so great to see the family that does not care what society expects of them but time and again do what they want to do.
From Dragons and Princesses to bicycles and Gulls. The excitement never stops!!!

So Good.
Another off the wall spicy historical by Merry Farmer and it was a grand read! I love the O’Shea family I think it is the Irish in me and I loved that Caelian was believed to be a dreamer. Erica will not know what happen to her with this family. They were awesome characters and the story was fascinating the reverend’s daughter and the quiet O’Shea. The book is witty, with a lovely touch of humor, and the spice was nice. I hope you pick this one up it made my day so much better I am sure it will do that for you. Currently he us smitten with a vicar daughter cursing outside a church tinkering on his dragon aka flying machine! Wonderful story of self discovery featuring Lord Caelian O’Shea and Miss Erica Joyce. Caelian has a passion for flying, and little else, unlike the rest of his O'Shea family. Erica is the prim and proper daughter of the local Vicar, just like her father expects. Loved how the relationship between these two builds as Erica realizes she's a strong woman with interests and desires of her own and Caelian's eyes are opened to new passions and feelings. Couldn't put it down.

A dragon, a lord and a vicar’s daughter enter a contest and you won’t guess what will happen. Merry writes a lovely story that will keep you smiling the whole time you are reading. Between Caelian and Erica’s antics with the dragon and Rory’s irreverence towards Siobhan this story is one of the best light comedies that Merry has written. My favorite book in this series so far but wait Siobhan and Rory’s story is next and looks to be fiery.

Quick and lively installment of the O’Shea family. In this one, Caelian, Viscount cousin to the sisters that started the series, falls for vicar’s daughter Erica.
Caelian, Erica, and rival Rory Feeney are experimenting with flying machines as part of the fun.
Slightly less steamy than other stories in this series (still not clean), and the love is pretty insta, given that this is a novella, but the characters are charming and the story is a fun one. The next installment is all set up, too!

The O'shea entire brood is a little mad I believe and the women are more eccentric than the men.
To enjoy this book u need to read it in order.Cailen is a viscount and another O'shea.its his dream to built a flying machine.Enter our heroine Miss Erica ,reverend's daughter .
Sparks fly and both fall for each other quickly. Their banter is witty and hilarious.
It's a fun and short read and completely enjoyable.cheers to O'sheas and their wickedness.

A delightfully wicked and charming story. A vicar's daughter who only wants one viscount that her father seems to be against. It is love at first sight for Erica and Caelian. Working together on his flying machine brings them even closer. They just have to work against the forces that are against them, her father and the formidable and nosy Lady Coyle.
