Holy hell! This was a verryyyy intriguing start to this story😍

Melisande was a rookie to heaven and its filth, which made her look incredibly naive ....now after reading what she went through, I want to be an eager witness to her rebellion ( I hope there's a rebellion😈🖤)

On the other hand, Gabriel was an unredeemable villain and just so amazingly manipulative that I sort of want to high five him lol.

Going to go read book 1 now. I am very much looking forward to it ♥️

It’s nice when read with the series, but I wouldn’t have read the series if this was my first book in the series.

A nice prequel but I'm glad I read it after the first book. Loved the whole series

Like other reviews say I don't know if I would have continued the series if I would have read this book first just because I feel like if you didn't read the first book first you wouldn't quite understand what's going on. That being said after having read the first book and then reading this one I loved it. Gabriel is just such a awful Angel, honestly he is horrible! I know what happens at the end of the second book and it makes me extremely freaking happy That's all I have to say.

But yeah so my opinion for this book is to read it after you read book 1 just because it makes what's going on a little clearer, but if you are reading the series this book definitely should be read because it does give you an insight of how her life in heaven was.
