Gemini Fowler’s party unseated the Governor of Knall and freed countless farmers from a life of servitude. When they eradicated the foul Wahrsager who cast a dark cloud over the university in Warrington, mana-born children from across eastern Rubal emerged from the shadows to learn the ways of magic after a century of suppression and abuse. When they trudged into the Depths of Seran, one of the greatest threats to ever dwell in Eastern Rubal was vanquished.
There should have been peace.
But the king whose royal line maintained its stolen power through the repression of the weak isn’t about to let the Shénhuà split his kingdom, and soon, Gemini will learn the end of his grand legacy quest was just the beginning.

Just when you thought there could not be more to do after book 7’s ending, along comes Arlo Adams’ with Rebirth (Enora Online, Book 8). I’m not going to give things away here but, yes in addition to the expected (the start of a civil war with the Littrels) there are some major surprises, including a total doozy of one at the end. Along the way is LitRPG at its finest as we follow along Gemini and his companions in a wonderfully complex yet easy to follow plot. Newcomers can indeed start her, but starting with book 1 of the series would be highly recommended. Those who read the prior seven books should totally rejoice as this new book if anything exceeds expectations. Exciting, thrilling and superbly written, this book is easy to highly recommend.
Um…huh? Why would Gemini be blamed, or bear any responsibility, for efforts made outside of his knowledge and control by the one who is blaming him? He was informed of those actions after the fact, and certainly wouldn’t have been listened to if he had protested. Is it just because the real culprits can’t currently be reached?
Also, is the new detail about lay and lava lines directly due to the two new, limited AI’s?
I enjoyed reading this book very much and I recommend this book to anyone who like LitRPG and progression type of books. I think the foul language is excessive and do not add to the story.
The magic is still here in the pages. Great job. I'm hooked. I am looking forward to the next book and the next after that. Don't stop writing these. I'm going to be every disappointed when the actual end does arrive.
Not quite as good as some previous entries...not enough Gemini; too much Priya & others...OTOH, I love Pirya & loathe Delphine...it's kind of a confused mess...
This was good and it was frustrating! Everything was tense from moment 1 to the end. Why? I don't want to leave spoilers, but trust me, you will have to start book 9
