I wasn't sure what to expect with this one. I had never read anything by Ivan Cat before and so this one was a bit of a risk. Not that I had anything to lose other than the time it took to read, but still...

I ended up really enjoying this one. Good character development, even with the "bad guys." This one was original and new to me. I don't really see how he could write a sequel with the same characters, but I wouldn't mind seeing this one turn into a series-like succession of books like Anne McCaffrey did with "The Ship Who Sang".

Great book, if you like the genre.
