So good, (soooo close to a 4!!) but there were a few things I didn't like. First of all, Draco was ON POINT!! He was so sweet and also toxic, perfection. The spice was good but the whole humiliation thing is not my taste. Their interactions and banter were so good, and I was LIVING for it.

But then the end... I had so much hope and I really liked it and then it just... ended. LIKE WHY?!?! I get that some authors like the open-ended thing but this was just irritating. She could easily have added more! At least Draco getting his memories back and maybe even Hermione's two-fold threat!!

But anyways, is it worth the read? Yes!

But will I ever reread it? No :(

Loved this really smutty and kinky blackmail Dramione fic. I was a bit angry at the degradation but when I found out the reason, it all made sense even though I didn't like it. Great epilogue but I hated the open ending.

After the events of 6th Year, Hermione returns to Hogwarts to do any research she can on Voldemort's Horcruxes and where they might be.
She only has until the Death Eaters take over Hogwarts, to gather everything she can that will aid them on their Horcrux Hunt.
The fact that she has to share a living space with Draco Malfoy as Head students, makes thing a bit more difficult. She has to make sure to keep all of her research safe from Malfoy and keep him unaware of information that will help them take down Voldemort.

Strangely, Malfoy let's her be and other than a few lingering stares, he ignores her and doesn't question as to why she never goes to any of their classes and what she's really doing back at Hogwarts.
Still Hermione is very carefull in keeping her things safe from Malfoy's prying eyes and takes on using the library for her research in case he happens to glance across her notebook. The failed safety sense, makes her careless and when she leaves her notes unattended... that's when Malfoy strikes and steals them.
Desperate to get everything back, Hermione makes a deal with him that will change their relationship forever.

3.5⭐️ I enjoyed this more than I thought I would! I started it honestly thinking I’d get in a chapter or two and then be able to delete it off my list. However I didn’t want to stop! Even though it’s shorter it was a good story with a sweet Draco and pining but in denial Hermione. I wasn’t crazy about the use of the term mudblood, but I understood it and accepted it more once it was explained. I liked their relationship in the end and was a little broken when Hermione had to make her “move!” So good.
I was disappointed with the very end though which is why it’s not 4 stars. The way the story left off (at the end of chap 14- not 15), I found lacking. I wasn’t expecting HEA- but a brush of the thumb on her cheek, a tuck of curl behind her ear, even a soft, quick, sweet kiss would have been appreciated to show their familiarity! But ugh- no such luck.

I absolutely loved this! The smut was exactly how I like it, if you're into humiliation you will like this one. And i didn't except I would get so emotional over it too I really enjoyed the unfolding of this story and I like the ending being left kinda open. Was not a huge fan of the whole going around shirtless trope as it doesn't seem very Draco to me but overall really enjoyable hot and emotional short read

what the fuck did i just read? how can anyone vote this higher than 1 star? horrible plot and horrible characterisation. nothing made sense & Hermione would never have accepted the deal?? and the ending? so incredibly rushed and stupid. there was nothing good about this. the writing is also just terrible.

good idea for a fanfic, but it fell flat somehow. This didn’t feel like dramione to me, the explicit scenes seemed to me as if written by a young person and the characters were just too changed, far from the canons I usually like.

Honestly, this ended up having a lot more heart than I thought it would! Yes, it was smutty and erred more on the filthy side of the spectrum but my gif, the character development! I like the idea of a timeline where Draco made the horcrux hunt much easier.

Personal note: I didn't really know what a humiliation kink was or how that would play out between 17 year olds before I read this book. I know now. The kink was in the tags. Hermione wasn't smart in this one.
