I really enjoyed this story. Seeing Angel's story and her second chance at love, but more importantly changing her heart and finding a deeper relationship with the Lord.
I especially loved the character of little Marvel, she was absolutely adorable and wouldn't mind having a future daughter like her.😄
Short and snappy, Shiloh still manages to deliver a classic Christmas story that packs a punch. Emotional, funny, faith-infused. Easy to devour in one sitting.
Bishop is no match for Angel and her sass -- and his adorable little girl is just as smitten. Little Marvel is a guileless matchmaking imp though she has some help from Angel's large and boisterous family as well. Let the fun and hijinks begin!
Love the way the author weaves scripture and faith throughout this romance. Spiritual toe-curls...is there such a thing? Might be a Shiloh original. :-)
A heartwarming festive read that celebrates faith and love.
After reading the first book in this series, I really didn’t like Angel (heroine), but she completely redeemed herself in this story. Bishop (hero) was a single dad who was very guarded and protective of his daughter. Marvel was Bishop’s daughter and totally stole my ♥️ Watching Angel and Bishop let their guards down and fall in love was so sweet! Very good read that I recommend!
Well, we have another story with the Lewis family. Can I just say I love all their names?! Noel, Eve, Starr, Gabe, and Angel are all names that will inspire you to go out and start singing Christmas songs as well as decorate your house the whole year with red and green. Speaking of Christmas and decorating . . . this newest book by author Toni Shiloh will have you thinking about decorating and all the fun it is. Angel has been struggling with the poor choices she’s made in her life and now she wants to start over. Bishop just wants to continue with his life without any bumps. He and his daughter are simply trying to survive. Being a single dad isn’t always easy. This book is so cute and fun! I love all the crazy thoughts and ideas Marvel has. She adds so much spice to these adults’ lives. Toni Shiloh is an author who brings out the sweetest stories and has you believing each of these characters are real. Her stories flow with great dialog and wonderful word pictures of places, people, and relationships. I laughed, I cried, (well, not from anything too sad, but from laughing) I truly loved every moment I was reading this book and hope you will too. I highly recommend you pick it up and read it. Add this to your Christmas reading list, you won’t be disappointed! I was given this book by the author which did not influence my review in any way, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
A sweet single dad romance. The kindergarten-age daughter was adorable, and I loved her name (no spoilers—read and find out!) I was impressed the author managed to include a touch of humor in her characters’ faith journeys. I wasn’t sure if I would like Angel after her bride-zilla moments in the previous book, but she has a solid arc. Neither she nor the single dad have an angelic past, but you can feel them trying, which made them feel real and relatable. I liked this one even more than the first in this series.
I enjoy this quick and encouraging read. I admire the way Ms. Shiloh create her families. Angela and Bishop's first meeting was not a positive one but I loved how God orchestrated their relationship with the help of other characters. Marvel, Bishop's daughter, will steal the show as only children can do. She takes to Angela and shows Bishop what she needs in her life in addition to her father's love. Angela and Bishop are not perfect by any means but their willingness to build their relationship makes this read even more interesting.
I received this book from the publisher and the opinions expressed are entirely my own. I would recommend Ms. Shiloh's book to any reader.
I enjoyed this novella and the main characters Angel and Bishop they were trying hard not to like each other but they were fighting a losing battle! Their families helped them to open their eyes to ❤️ love from the youngest to the oldest! Bishop was so rigid but he discovered that being rigid (rule oriented) was making him boring. Angel helped him to become a better version of himself and he did the same for her! God was working behind the scenes through their parents, siblings and little Marvel. I’m so glad God puts people in our lives to help us along the way
This novella is adorable. It gave me all the feels. If your looking for a feel-good quick read this holiday season, All I Want is perfect. It's number two in a series, but it stands well on it's own.
I enjoyed reading this book. I love the way Angel waited patiently for bishop although she was scared she asked God for help. If only we waited for God to direct us on the right path; we wouldn't face as much pain. Ms.Toni waiting for the next book in this series Eve is up next. 👑❤
It was so refreshing to enjoy a beautiful, inspirational, clean novel without having to mentally correct grammatical errors. I loved the characters. Thanks
I didn’t like Angel in the first book. This story tells us that people can change and we should be open to second chances. Marvel was a cute addition to the story. I love the decorating parts too. I love this series and I hope to read the next one.
I loved the way that Angel was redeemed from the first book. She and Bishop seemed so right for each other. I also loved that you included Marvel in their love story. Awesome!
I loved Marvel, who could be anything she wanted to be, even a super hero.you go girl with your bad self. And the adults learning to love again, thank You Jesus
What an absolutely lovely story! Toni Shiloh is one of my very favorite authors and she has hit it out of the park yet again! I will admit that for a good portion of I'll Be Home I didn't like Angel very much, but by the end of it she had won me over and I was so excited when I heard she would be getting her own story! All I Want did not disappoint! Every time Toni releases a new book I gain a new book boyfriend and Bishop was no exception, he is such an amazing hero, and I loved him so much! Bishop and Angel were perfect for each other and it was an absolute joy to watch their romance bloom! And Bishop's daughter Marvel, oh my word, what an adorable sweetheart! Her obsession with Marvel superheroes was so much fun, and she never failed to make me smile and laugh, I loved her so much and I would love to read a story about her as an adult (pretty please, Toni?!) This excellent story gave me all the feels and I loved every single minute I spent reading it! I adore the entire Lewis family and I'm hoping for future books in this series, I'd love it if Eve, Gabe, and Noel each get their own book! All I Want is a must read that I most highly recommend!
Great book 2 in Lewis family series Seeing how God helped Angel grow and find forgiveness and become a better person and find God purpose for her made this story of love and redemption great Very enjoyable Can't wait to read about the next sibling
Author Toni Shiloh writes a story that shows us people can change with God’s direction. That there can always be second chances.
Angel messed up in book 1. Can she change in book 2? Bishop has been burned and doesn’t trust women or his heart. But his daughter, Marvel, has other ideas. I loved all of them. Especially 5 year old, precocious Marvel. She made me laugh with her honesty and the unchecked tongue of a child.
A story full of family, love, and hope, Shiloh reminds us that with God all things are possible. I highly recommend All I Want.
Book 2 was just as good as the first one! I loved the transformation of Angel and that “Lil Bit” Marvel was so precocious!!
I loved the Lewis Family dynamics and how they welcomed Bishop and his family into the fray!! This was another heartwarming and lovely story! I absolutely loved it and highly recommend it! Another great Christmas story for sure!! Kudos, Toni! 💜
I loved it! Perfect Christmas 🎄 read (BTW - I read this on Christmas). The Lewis Family has a special place in my heart (who wouldn’t love a family where all the kids are named after the most wonderful time of the year). I can’t wait to read the next story.
As a Christian, I love the scripture references but I think it’s relatable to everyone. It’s also a reminder to pray and seek God before making decisions.
You don’t want to miss this story of imperfect people who are in the midst of improving themselves when they meet in a very different way than most stories.
They are both working to spend more time with God and to remember to listen for Him.
The characters are all wonderful and mesh together so well. And the story couldn’t be written any better!
I thoroughly enjoyed this story!! This was cute and endearing! Quite enjoyable. I really enjoyed Angel’s growth and how Bishop was feeling her. Marvel was just too cute.
