Spot's on the prowl. Three wolf shifters have put in a construction bid for the complex, and Callan's keen to hire them but Jack's being a bit weird when they're mentioned. Spot's on the case to find out what's up so Callan won't start brooding. He might not feel like ordering sushi for him!
Meanwhile, Breck is settling in with Callan, enjoying the Little life with his vampire Daddy! That brings another complication, though. Master Callan is so busy running the nest, dealing with the complex, and Breck, that he's feeling a bit overwhelmed. He's gotten the idea they need a housekeeper, and Spot's not too sure about that. There's only one thing to do. Spot will have to make sure they're suitable!
Aw, poor Jack. New characters and mainly focusing on the trio getting a housekeeper and Spot getting into trouble. I liked how sushi mad Spot was. Looking forward to Jack’s story and what’s next for the trio.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. What a pity I can only give 5 stars for these books. They are so entertaining and funny. Breck, a Little, is settling in with his Daddy Callan and Spot - a hilariously funny cat demon. Spot is so like a naughty little kid with his plans to get a sushi chef to be his personal chef. He pokes his nose where he shouldn't then gets really indignant when he is caught. And his love affair with an empty box - well, that just had me on the floor laughing. Not to mention his attempts at getting the best chef ever - will Mrs Case be the answer? Callan has a friend Jack, who manages his complex. Jack is a vampire who believes his one true love committed suicide. But did he? Breck wants everything Daddy has to offer, even a bite that will turn him and ensure he is with Daddy for a very long time. What's holding him back. And Daddy Callan has his hands full with Spot, Breck, Jack and work commitments. This series so far has been a huge bonus of really interesting reading. Lighthearted, emotional, one of the most amazing authors I have had the pleasure of reading. I would shout about this author from the rooftops, but can't climb ladders anymore. A. Little is now at the top of my "Favorite Authors" list.
What a fun story, I laughed several times, the plot was bright and light, the perfect book for a relaxing time. I ha a blast!!! High praises to A. Little!!!
👍 Spot is such a crazy character, the way his mind works, it was hysterical! The intimate moments were exceptional and well made, new informations came to surface, leading to next books. Exciting expectations
👎 A bit confusing with the pacifier moment, the reason for refusal… Maybe that really happen in real life. Not sure.
🎧 Zachary Zaba gave an impressive performance, his acting was fully committed, the emotions were right and made the characters even better. In fact he made a very funny story even more comical!!! Huge applause to him!!!!
I love these short little books that I think are far too short. They are humorous, loving, paranormally interesting and has great main characters. Beck is a "Little" and Callan is a vampire daddy who loves his little. Spot is a demon whose contract Callan owns. Spot is a pain in everyone's neck, especially Callan, but Spot feels sure that he is the only one able to keep Callan on the "straight and narrow." Now he has Jack, Callan's best friend and assistant, in his sights to help whether he needs it or not. A delightful book that ends on a cliffhanger. I can't wait to read it.
OMG I can’t wait for more. A. Little has a way of writing that makes you feel like you are there and wish it was real and you were there. And that’s for both the contemporary and the paranormal ones. I enjoy their books so much and preorder them too. Patience is not my strong point but seeing it get closer to the release day helps lol.
Highly recommended. This is the title in the series that made me start buying copies for friends. Beware: Spot is addictive. This series aims for the funnybone, & hits it spot on. Paranormal kinky romance, but make it deliciously corny.
Love reading about Spot! And enjoyed his "screening"of the housekeepers and how clever Shirley was to offer the can of crab to lick--guaranteed to win a cat's heart for a minute!
I absolutely love this series, this one should have been read second after the first Littles of the Night Tail, but that's ok. In this boom Master Callan is trying to find the perfect housekeeper to help cook and take care of his Little Breck and Spot. Spot is also seeking info on some wolves who bid on a construction job because since they came around Jack is sad. Can't wait for more!
This story, told from Spot's point of view, takes place in between Books one and two in the Littles of the Night series. It is a fast paced, funny addition to the series.
