Presents anecdotes from women who collectively traveled to over 60 countries around the world, including India, Peru, Japan, Ghana, France, Albania, and Bhutan.
This was a really fun book with a bunch of little stories about women traveling in different countries around the world. Very interesting to hear about places that are so different and the jobs/experiences the women had. It is an older book so there are definitely a few not very PC statements but other than that I enjoyed reading it.
I love this book, not bored at all. Strong points are the humour, the differing views expressed, the skill at writing, the vignettes, the scenery, the human contact, hospitality, language barriers etc. Read it, it was 1 quid to me in Oxfam. Gorgeous find, what a grand read.
