Jynx Morningstar was the niece of Lucifer, daughter of a demon and a human. She’d never met her father; never left hell, but when a coup took place and Lucifer was dying, Jynx froze the poison and turned him into a stone doll, ensconced in her back pocket. Jynx and her hellcat headed for earth and her father, who was a healer witch and could fix Lucifer. But arriving in the middle of a turf war was not in their plans – shapeshifters and vampires were trying to kill one another. Would she find her father? Would what she wanted to happen, actually occur, or would she make things worse as her demonic magic came to the surface?

And a warning, it’s filled with foul language which I thought was unnecessary for the type of book it is.

Fast and funny! Jynx, the Niece of Lucifer is sassy, snarky and smart. My favourite kind of hero. The author meets all my expectations with this genre which meant I couldn't put it down until it was finished. The story moves very fast but with clarity and humour. There is violence and sex but also generosity, kindness and love. I will be reading more from this series and author.

Part of the Magic and Meyhem series KW. I'm not too familiar with it but its on my list to read. I very much enjoyed this book. Another Mina great! I loved Jynx. She was funny and can kick some serious ass. She's sassy and takes no shit especially from her Uncle Lucy...(AKA Lucifer). There is a coup and after putting the whammy on her Uncle Lucy she skedaddles Hell and goes to the surface in search of her real father. She has an interesting experience and heck even meets her mate which she isnt accepting...nope. Can she save her Uncle and perhaps meet her father? Err save some people in a weird named town? A grim reaper causing issues too. What to do?

Spectacular absolutely Spectacular!!
Now this is what I'm talking about. This is by far one of my favorite from this author and I've read all her books. I absolutely loved Jynx she's a kick butt mouthy just as soon kill you as to deal with you kind a gal. Lucas is a big sexy wolf shifter who knows just how to but her sassy mouth to good use. Only problem Hell is in chaos Lucifer is a stone stature and vampires are trying to take her wolf from her. Oh heck no not happening she's done laid claim to this town it's hers and everyone in it is under her protection. Mess with one of them at your own peril. This book was of the charts good I absolutely freaking loved it. I really hope she rights more.

Jynx is the daughter of the demoness Lilith and a human wizard. She is raised in h#ll by her uncle Lucifer. She enjoys being a princess and a half demon but she doesn't exactly think of herself as evil. Lucifer is into tempting mortals to make choices to give up their souls rather than just taking then. Lucifer has decided that it is time for Jynx to get married and arranges a marriage for her to another demon named Nabzon. Jynx rebels and turns him down completely. Later Jynx finds out Nabzon has poisoned her uncle and all the other demons with Chocolate chip cookies that gave them the runs until they died. Jynx turns her uncle to stone to save him. She quickly realizes that there is a demon coup happening and it is headed by Nabzon. She leaves home and is followed by a hellcat names E-dub. He explains that on Earth her wizard magic is more active and he is supposed to be her familiar. He also reveals the name of her father and that he is a very powerful healer wizard. Jynx decides to track her father down to get him to heal her Uncle Lucy. She uses her magic and tracks him down to Assjacket.
In Assjacket she meets a werewolf pretending to be her father . She is strongly drawn to him and she pretends to believe him . He leads her to a town named Boring that is under attack by vampire. Jynx helps defeat the vampires and quickly learns that she is a death wizard. Death wizards are very powerful and thought to have died out. After the fight she finds out that the werewolf's name is Lucas and he is her destined mate. Jynx has to decide whether she is going to stay in the mortal world with her mate or go back home to take her uncle's place.
This is a very humorous story but it has a lot of bad language. I love Jynx! I voluntarily received a copy of this story and this is my honest review.

Jynx Morningstar Princess of Hell daughter of Lilith, father unknown at this time and niece of Lucifer or Lucy to his family is having a really bad day. Nabzon arc-duke and demon of hell has just poisoned Lucifer and most of his court in a coup and it is not a nice way to die at all. So Jynx has had to put a spell on Lucifer and turn him into a small stone statue till she can find a healer witch in the mortal world , so topside she must go for the first time in her life. Once topside she ends up with a hellcat named E-dub as her familiar and they on their way to save the humans from an apocalypse that Nabzon is planing after he finds the Antichrist. Along the way Jynx may just find her mate and chocolate of course. A big thank you to Mina Carter for the wonderful review copy. Loved it. The humour just kept flowing through the whole book.

Jynx is not your typical Princess of Hell. She may be part demon but she is a kind and caring soul when she is not fending off her uncle, Lucifer himself, attempts to marry her off. But when the suitor turns out to be a traitorous usurper, Jynx flees hell with Lucifer in tow and seeks aid on Earth.
She lands just outside Assjacket and promptly meets Lucas, sexy werewolf, frustrated cop and alpha of the local pack. But when the town is bombarded by demons looking for Lucifer, it is upto a motley crew o supernaturals, including one badass shape-shifting cat named EW to save the day!!
Jynx is so badass she takes on reapers and Death himself to save this little town and it is a superb read!

I really enjoyed this story! It was funny and entertaining! Jynx was an awesome character! She had the perfect personality for this story. She is the Princess of Hell and has embraced that part of her but she is also part witch. When she steps in to stop a coup she ends up with her Uncle Lucifer as a stone statue as she leaves Hell and makes it topside for the first time ever. I loved the antics that she gets into as she is looking for her father, a healing witch, in order to save her Uncle and put the devil she knows back in charge rather than the one she doesn't (at least not as well). This story had humor, action, and a little bit of intrigue. Plenty to keep your attention.

Up on the surface a drop dead alpha wolf shifter and he wears a badge! Talk about hitting the jack pot! All good right? Um no cuz see a sweet quaint town is about to get some really scary visitors. What’s a girl Princess all around in your face bad *ass to do? Take the fight head on! Hey Jynx what you doing today? Saving the world Duh!

For the most part I liked it.
The characters were great, the story was awesome, the part that irritated me was the declaration of insta-love at the end. As an urban fantasy/paranormal title this book is top notch, as a romance it's sadly lacking as I don't believe you can recognize a soul mate in a 48 hour acquaintance. There's not enough real interaction between these characters for them to have fallen in love. The action and the plot were wonderful, hilarious and edge of your seat constant action, but there's not a lot of romance here, just a really good story with a sex scene inside.
I would definitely recommend it, the characters are likeable and charming, the plot is hilarious and exciting. That said I wouldn't really call it romance.

Great book
Im a bit surprised how much I liked this short book. It’s easy to read, funny at times with an interesting plot. I liked Jynx right from the beginning and the book caught my attention in the first few pages. Lots of action and I enjoyed the relationship between Lucas and Jynx. They hooked up rather quickly but I can see the chemistry between them. I liked how tender he was to her at times.
The storyline is intriguing and I can’t wait to move on to book 2 I’m this series. The only warning is that this book ended abruptly for me. You need to treat this as 1 book/story, split into 3 smaller ones.

Oh my grandfather! This was such a fun story! I LOVED the snarky character of Jynx and this adventure she took me on. The characters were fun, bold, interesting, and filled with passion. The story line was new and different, and an exciting ride. I want a Lucas of my own as a mate, and I really want my own E-dub!! What fun he wouldbe as a best friend. I did not know what to expect from this Kindle world series but being that this story was written by Mina, I took a chance and so should you. It was so amazing, a new favorite. I am hoping that there are a few more stories with these characters and as a reader I get to follow a few more of their adventures! A++

Oh how wonderfully hilarious. Ms. Carter has another hit on her hands. Jynx is shouldered with saving her Uncle Lucy from the corrupt demon Nabzon and his plot to take over hell via his pastry delights. In the process she enlists the assistance her familiar E-dub to search out the father she's never seen and hook up with a sinfully luscious werewolf. This tale weaves quite the web of dastardly delights that only Ms. Mina can accomplish to get to the glorious ending. Hopefully the hints I've left will pique a reader's curiosity to desire their own reading of this book. This review is my own voluntary opinion but I was given an ARC.

Mina Carter is always a good bet
If you like fun, Mina Carter is always a good bet. She makes me smile. My only complaint is books of late just don't seem to last long enough. Not the writers fault,mostly, I just get wrapped up in their awesome worlds and can't stop reading. Then I don't want to leave that world when it's done. Haven't been able to read in over a Mont so to be fair I'm going through 4 or so books a day. who knows I may even conquer some of my TBR mountain in the next week. Awesome read. Funny loved the characters and world. Jynx was awesome. Lucas was cool and.dad and the devil were something lol

Sexy wolf and hellish demon
This is the first book by Mina Carter I’ve read, and I loved it.
Jynx is a special kind of demon, half mortal, half demon, niece to Lucifer- when Lucifer is attacked and poisoned in hell, she escapes with her hellcat to find a healer.
I like the strength of this demon Jynx, plus her emotional vulnerability as well as the sexy wild wolf Lucas, she meets along the way.
The hellcat though, is simply adorable, though he can pretty much kill anything and in human form he’s sexy as a Viking.
There’s humour, snark, romance, paranormal battles and bloodshed.

Very Interesting!
This book was very good & interesting in the way Lucifer is portrayed. But, he's not the main character in this book; Jynx, his niece is.
After she turn down a demon who asked for her hand that demon decides to take over Hell. Jynx, makes her Uncle Lucy into a stone figure & goes topside to find someone to heal him 1st before she frees him.
While topside she runs into Lucas, an Alpha wolf who not only tells her that he knows of a great healer but also tells her that she's his mate.
Now it's your turn to find out what happens next; but you'll have to read the book to find out.

Jynx, daughter of a demon and a healing warlock, takes a trip topside with a precocious pussycat (well...hellcat) to rescue her Uncle Lucifer and stop a hostile takeover of Hell. Can she and a few friends prevent an apocalypse from happening? Never doubt, Jynx is a take-charge, bad-a** opponent. This story has all I could ask for; people to rescue, bad guys to take out, a few death-defying struggles, humor (yes, amidst chaos), and romance. I love it!

What a fantastic ride with lots of twists and turns, laughter, love and family. Jynx is the half mortal niece of Lucifer. She is a sarcastic curvy girl who kicks butt and takes names while throwing her own brand of sass. With her hell cat familiar in tow, she sets out to rescue her uncle Lucy and ends up meeting her mate, Lucas a werewolf hottie, and her dad?? Could that massive warlock be the dad she’s hardly heard tell of? I can’t wait to see what the next book brings.

If you are looking for something to read to fill the Dakota Cassidy void after you’ve devoured her Accidentally series, then this just might be the book for you.
Jynx Morningstar is a feisty, sassy, take no prisoners - except for Uncle Luce - demon princess that I didn’t realise I needed until now. Her headlong rush to find her father, save Uncle Luce (Lucifer), and stop the Assgroom from locating the Antichrist and bringing about Hell on Earth was so much fun. A very fast paced an entertaining read.

Another great book by Mina. Really enjoyed the take no prisoners attitude of Jynx, and looking forward to seeing how her relationship evolves with her recently found human father, not to mention the new relationship/mate status with the alpha werewolf of Boring.
Looking forward to finding out more about mommy dearest too.
This book was anything but boring, and I now have yet another series to devour, lol!

Demons, shifters, hellcats, vampires and the princess of Hell- who could ask for more? I loved this story. The inner conversation Jynx had at times was hilarious. I do so hope that Ms Carter continues with the "world". I definitely would like to see E-dub have his own story. A story for Lucifer and Scarlet would be "Hell on Earth" (you will have to read this book to understand).

A spritely fun read! It was super quirky and fun. I loved Jynx from the start and want to see more of her! Edub was an added bonus. There was so much descriptive tale without dragging or slowing down the story. And Chocolate Cake --- don’t forget the cake!! While this is part of the Magic & Mayhem Kindle World, I didn’t need to read any of the other stories. The story was fab-u-licious all on it’s own.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! A spin off of the Magic and Mayhem series written by a different author. She doesn’t use any of the characters from the series but does mention the town of Assjacket and the dinner. It’s a great book and one that I hope to see a series of. I loved Jynx and her familiar E-dub. Who wouldn’t love a hell kitty as a familiar. He’d fit right in with Zelda’s crew.
