Great Story
A fast moving story to start this series. Good to see what happened with Wolfgang following the Appalachian origin story. In this one, the action is constant and there are plenty of twists and turns to keep you gripped. Looking forward to next in series.

Exciting!
First book in the Wolfgang Pierce series. This trip to Paris is Wolf’s first outing with Charlie Team, a five person professional espionage unit. Things could be going better.
Exciting, emotional, addictive. Can’t wait for the next book.

I tried Reed Montgomery series by Logan Ryles. Overwatch was a pretty average book. This one was small under 200 pages. So I thought to give it a try. Turns out good. Wolfgang Pierce is a solo operative, roped into Charlie Team headed by his handler. They head to Paris to see a rendezvous between a nuclear physicist cum terrorist and a CIA agent, their job go protect the physicist as the Russians are also after him. There's no room for fillers. The story runs at a lightning speed, doesn't give you any moment to breathe. Will grab the next one soon.

That Time in Appalachia, prequel - An intense, riveting story about the two days before his fifteenth birthday that changes Pierce's life forever. Recommend read first. 5*
That Time in Paris, #1 - After working for SPIRE for three years, Wolfgang is working with Edrick now and becomes part of the elite Charlie Team. Pretty neat trick how Wolf stopped a merger. 4*
That Time in Cairo, #2 - Picks up four months after Paris ends. I was a bit bored with this story. It was too much hollywood for me, but what they found was interesting in several points. 3*
That Time in Moscow, #3 - Pick ups one month after Cairo. Interesting confrontation with a Russian W met in Paris. W is showing more of his insubordination, his inexperience, which of course, moves the story forward. 4*
That Time in Rio, #4 - Picks up exactly where Moscow ends. Plenty of action. 4*
That Time in Tokyo, #5 - Picks up three months after Rio. Boring beginning and gets worse. Quit at near end of chapter eight. Megan should not have been in Tokyo. She is a disruptive force on the team; there is no team now, lovesick sap or protective brother behavior do not have a place here. 1*
That Time in Sydney, #6 - Intense with a lot of happenings. Several characters from the past return. 5*
That Time in Bangkok, #7 - Cliffhanger. It's 2013 and Wolf is down and out. The Director shows up with a job. Interesting, intense and plenty of action and a determination to succeed made this a quickly read story. 4*

Five Stars
I very quickly became completely engrossed in this new book. This new character, Wolfgang successfully managed to both intrigue and captivate me. Lots of other new characters also made their presence known and I look forward in getting to know more about all of them as the books are published. This book travelled at a fast pace and as you would expect, it was virtually impossible to put it down.
The main character, Wolfgang, is a really interesting guy, and I have taken a real shine to him. I admired the character Reed Montgomery from the Omega series but Wolfgang is very much his own character.
I will not give away any spoilers but this is a great foundation to a new Charlie Team.
A big thanks you to the author Logan Ryles. My review rating is a well deserved 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

After reading a couple of behemoths, I decided to do something different and go for a shorter book. This first entry in the novella series by Logan Ryles seemed to fit the bill.
Honestly, despite its short length, I had a great time reading this one. The story is about Wolfgang Pierce, who joins a convert spy team called Charlie Team to take up a mission in Paris. It hits all the beats of a good spy thriller, and I would say it's more James Bond (maybe Pierce Brosnan over Daniel Craig) than Jason Bourne, but still very entertaining. I'll definitely check out the rest of the series, and will probably get to one of author's longer novels eventually.

Great beginning!
I love espionage thrillers but feel many times they are lacking... A really good and believable soy thriller requires so much from an author! Ryles delivers a believable and interesting storyline along with character relationships that

If you have been reading the Reed Montgomery series (If you haven't, why not?), you know a bit about Wolfgang Pearce. This is the first of several novellas to give the reader an extended look at his development as an agent. In this one, all he has to do is save all of Paris from the spread of deadly radiation. Used to working alone, he now must adjust to working with a team.

Interesting New Series
I really enjoyed Wolfgang Pierces character and the team. The storyline was interesting and exciting and very fast moving with definitive, exciting descriptive dialogue ! I'm looking forward to the next in the series.

This was an ok read. Highly simplistic and unrealistic scenarios but it was action packed and entertaining. It was also a very quick read. It was good enough that I’ll read the next book in the series…

What a ride. Wolfgang Pierce is a one-man action team who gets the job accomplished. However, it isn't always pretty.

Fast paced read with plenty of action.
