This beginning reader introduces young readers to the country Iceland.
The basic facts contained hit all the highlights of the land, history, people, animals, and culture. The book is illustrated with beautiful photos, and the text uses very simple language.
I would quibble with the use of "ice cap" instead of "glacier," and modern Icelanders don’t eat fermented shark … at least on a regular basis like they do hotdogs and lamb.
