I found this to be a fun, quick and light-hearted transmigration story. I liked Zhong Yan's (MC) attitude to being transmigrated, he really just went with the flow and his interactions with the system were enjoyable. Gu Xuan Yan (ML) reminded me so much of Luo Binghe from SVSSS by MXTX. They deserved their happy ending.
Will it be one of my all time favourites? No
Is it tropey? Yes- pretty much all of them are here lol
Did I enjoy it and recommend it to others? Yes, definitely if you want something lighter between series.

If anyone thinks of going into this one, let it be said that the author themself know that the story isn´t as fleshed out as it could be given that they wrote it kinda here and there so yeah.
But knowing that, it was still really enjoyable, i liked the MC and also think it´s enternaining that the ML wasn´t just the misunderstood villain but someone who truly was a little vicious and petty :D
And although yes, ik why it wasn´t that developed, i still would have loved to see more details in the plot and a little extra drama in it.
But nevertheless perfect for anyone who needs a quick read.
(but that´s sure ass hell not 760 pages)

Me ha gustado solo le veo un fallo garrafal.
La historia es apresurada, no tiene huecos argumentales y la historia es interesante. Pero se nota que el autor no le ha puesto mucho esfuerzo o bien quería terminarlo rápido.

I found this story unengaging and a bit boring. I didn't dnf it because it's a really short read so I decided to follow through. The relationship between the two main character was unconvincing and felt forced. The plot didn't have anything new or deep, it couldn't hold my interest.

i had a fantastic time reading this, but that’s because i had zero expectations going in except for the typical 沙雕 transmigration vibes, since i only picked it up to better appreciate the audiodrama. the author herself admitted that this was written purely for stress relief, and that it’s lacking in quite a few places, so to me this is just a 开心就好 kind of novel lol. and i was certainly very happy reading it! i love watching insane characters fall in love because the relationship development never fails to make me laugh, and there’s no better example of it in this novel than gu xuanyan telling his shixiong to stay by his side every second of the day so he can make sure gu xuanyan never kills someone again 😂
anyway, if you can’t read chinese, i would not recommend this novel because the only available fan-translation of it is of truly terrible quality. if you can get your hands on an english-subbed version of the audiodrama, however, i would recommend that, because 鱼宝 is hysterical as zhong yan, and 墨墨 has an excellent way of emphasising the knives-sheathed-in-silk quality of gu xuanyan’s voice without going overboard. i think the writing is probably also going to be better in the audiodrama? i haven’t finished it, but they’ve made a few changes that seem quite good in the few episodes i listened to already.

Quizá tenga huecos o es apresurada (creo que esto la describe mejor). Sin embargo, cumple con entretener, hacerte reír y amar a los protas, así como su amor sin sentido jajaja.

It was a fun read, but like everyone else in the reviews, it was too fast paced for me to rate it higher. Even so, I enjoyed it, and I enjoyed the characters.

Me agradó leer esta novela, es corta y no presenta angustia. Si bien el amor puede ser algo apresurado, tanto que ni me di cuenta en qué momento se enamoraron, es algo que también comentan entre ellos. Me encantó las acciones por amor que es capaz de hacer Gu XuanYan por Zhong Yan <3
El propio autor (o autora la verdad no lo sé) menciona que lo escribió en principio para desestresarse y pide perdón por los fallos que pueda tener, pero no lo he sentido, lo que sí algunos detalles fueron rápidos, no obstante lo entiendo y tomando en cuenta todo ello le brindo esa calificación.

6.5/10, a lighthearted binge read that delivered everything it promised to deliver. The characters were on spot, perfect balance between smugness and not-so-pure intentions especially visible within the main love interest, the plot is somehow lacking tho

Not as bad as the stuff I dropped after the first chapter or two, but when it comes to plotting or characterization, this is a toddler. It's not like system-genre is high literature, but come on, I come here for the bendy twists, not just bendy dudes!

It’s an easy to read short 80+ chapters novel. It has likable characters with salty personalities set in an ancient cultivation where respect for elders and giving face is the norm.
I like that the protagonist puts his love interest first above his culture, his clan and his peers. His no fear approach to defending his crush is refreshing. He immediately settles accounts instead of waiting for another opportunity.
The comedic transmigrator enhances the cast of characters as he is positive the protagonist is a murdering psychopath!
There are enough secondary characters and subplots to keep it interesting without belaboring cultivation levels and hunting for cultivation resources.

It gives you what it promises and the truth is that it has been quite entertaining and fun. I liked the two main characters, especially the intrigues of the villain. Too bad it ends so suddenly, but hey, it's a nice read to have a good time.
Also, after dropping too many reads because I got bored of the plot or the characters, it's nice to find a short book that doesn't get too long. MJSHKM is not an ambitious novel and that makes it much better than others I have read (or tried).

A short, unremarkable transmigrate-to-rehabilitate-the-villain story. This time there's a system that punishes him whenever the ML kills someone, which I think is a bit much and if it was explained why he needed to be rehabilitated, I've forgotten. It was kind of pointless anyway because it didn't really work.

Another cute and enjoyable short story! Despite being short, I think the author did a very good job in progressing the relationship between the two main characters. Obviously, since it's short, the romance was a bit rushed, but it was believable. I enjoyed how realistic it was!
The actual plot line with the demonic cultivators and the villain's revenge was a bit lacking, which lowed the rating a bit. I felt like the actual goal of the story was kind of choppy and didn't necessarily always make sense. First off, the MC's system goal was a bit off -- it was to stop the ML from killing or becoming a villain, which ended up happening anyways. I thought that was a bit useless to the plot (though the system was a really funny foil character). I also think the demonic cult leader's goal was one thing and then became another without any real reason. But that's just my opinion.
Still, this was very enjoyable to read! I loved the soft yandere ML and how the MC ended up giving in when he realized he felt the same way. It was also very heart wrenching just how much the went through for each other. The romance in itself is worth the read, but the MC makes it so much better! He's funny and independent and unafraid to do what he wills himself to do. He's nothing at all like most BL story main characters! I would totally recommend, especially if you're looking for something short, easy and fun. Obviously, there are some dark parts as the story does have some angst and the ML is a yandere, but all in all it's decently tame.

What can I say! I just wrapped up this novel and it was quite a treat! It was awesome! It didn’t drag! The relationship between the MC and the system was hilarious lol I totally found the MC refreshing! His personality was just awesome! I thought it was hilarious how the role he transmigrated into was just so small that it was only mentioned one time in the novel lol I completely enjoyed how the ML changed because his feelings for the MC, things still kind of played out as they were going to but with a different outcome lol it was sweet how the MC used a cheat move to defend his Dao Partner Although he knew he would die and then he tells him to take him away only to realize it’s the place that the ML gets killed! This was very very entertaining! I really enjoyed how the ML is so tender with the MC although the MC can be rather harsh with words! I loved their happy ending and how he chose not to go back at all and stay! Then he’s telling the ML all the requests he has for their home and the ML just acquiescing to him, was just adorable! I also liked that he didn’t force him and gave him his space when he was ready to! The extras were super adorable! I loved when the ML was small and how he fierce he protected him in the illusion he entered! I loved the other side couple when the junior confessed with that statement! This was a really excellent read! Would totally recommend this novel!!

super light-hearted, low-stakes transmigration story
Honestly, with all its faults, I still enjoyed most of the story; it was very casual, with not much conflict, and interesting to see how the characters developed.

All the glaring plotholes are made obvious maybe about 3/4ths into the story: the distinct lack of any actual antagonists(all are very canon-fodder coded to just serve as test dummies for showing the ML's strength), how easily the MC gives into the ML, how quickly the MC gives up on his goal of returning to his world, the System rules(SPOILERS ), how the romance is not truly delved into because the first time the that the ML describes the MC he states that he's "very mediocre-looking," which I honestly HATE that the ML even said, because it makes the romance feel very forced(and TO ME makes the MC look replaceable), just to name a few.
If you can ignore everything above, its a solid short read.

well, its a nice short read. Good amounts of fluff and angst. MC is funny ML is Luo Binghe in a slightly different font, the system is funny, and they have like really good quotes so heres some of them.
Gu XuanYan (ML)- "Once love blossomed, there was no turning back. ... No matter whether the path ahead led to a sanctuary or hell, never in his entire life would he let him go."
Qin ZhongYan (MC)- "The past GuXuanYan was all alone, but with his company now, they could shoulder all troubles together. No matter how perilous the path ahead was, they could face it together, hand in hand."

Esse parágrafo é um perfeito exemplo da coisa mais sem sentido nessa história. Todos gostam de Gu XuanYan, ele é um modelo, os juniores adoram ele e os mestre também (só os envolvidos na morte da família dele não gostam dele), mas por algum motivo Zhong Yan é a única pessoa que demonstrou o mínimo de carinho por ele? Não faz sentido, ou você tem uma boa reputação, é querido e admirado, ou só uma pessoa se preocupa com você. Mas eles são fofos juntos e é bom pra passar tempo. É rápido, em muitos momentos rápido demais, porém é bacana.

pros: nice mc and love interest, interesting enough side characters, transmigration with having to keep the villain from blackening but without the prior abuse through mc etc aspect these stories tend to have, sweet dynamic, good enough plot and world building despite author themselves criticising it
cons: mc had a different name after transmigrating which wasn’t really touched upon because the love interest never called him by anything but “senior brother” which seemed kinda weird seeing how they’re romantically involved

Não gostei. Não vou dizer que achei uma novel ruim, só...para mim não brilhou sabe? Houveram sim, momentos em que eu achei a novel divertida (bem breves), os personagens são sim interessantes (apesar de não serem bem desenvolvidos ) e a premissa, embora nada inovadora, é sim algo promissor. Mas não rolou comigo sabe? Achei bem chata de ler, nada de muito legal acontece, o romance é meio morno. Achei bem chatinha. Me senti lendo um prólogo longo KKKKK

If you want to read a fast paced novel without so many plots and misunderstandings,this is for you.I love how the MC always tries his best to complete the mission although he's just a unknown,powerless and salted fish character in the novel(as his name hadn't got mentioned in the novel😂LOL).
I also loved the way ML in this novel isn't too OP and black_hearted.The way he cared and cherished MC was really sweet when he fell in love with him.

Елементарна історія про попаданця, який потрапив у знайомий сюжет, і головного героя типажу «темний лотос» (по сумісництву любовний інтерес попаданця). Різниця тільки в тому, цей головний герой як був антигероєм на початку, так ним і залишився (і зовсім не дарма попаданець його боявся на початку). Але вже невдовзі для жорстокого героя-месника цього світу попаданець стане особливою сніжинкою. Читала онгоїнгом, а тут якраз останню главу переклали.

this was a really quick read only 34 chapters but I loved it. the romance was fast paced for once, so it was cute to see the couple together. Also Zhongyan was such a funny character I loved his inner thoughts and banter with the system. overall a great book, esp if u want something light and quick to read

A really cute and satisfying story that focuses on heart warming instead of face slapping.
While the ml falls in love really quickly, the mc's progression is rather reasonable, and the plot is well-paced. I couldn't believe this was such a short story, it reads like a longer one.
I also thought the extras were perfect - tying a bow on an already well-packaged story.

This was very short so I don't have much to say. Not very detailed but rather wholesome haha
I read it on a fanfic mentality and everything went smooth for me...
Gu Xuanyan my boy tho, you're cute but creepy. Obsesive ML is always a catch, especially if they're murderous too!
