Aniello Assanti was a monster dressed in a gentlemen’s suit.

He was everything I should’ve feared and run away from. A walking nightmare. He belonged to an organization that valued money over life; power over free will; codes over love.

And if that wasn’t enough of a deterrent, he was strictly forbidden.

I, Rosalia Lombardozzi, solemnly vow…no fraternizing with the men who belong.

I worked for the same organization, and even with that oath forever marking my tongue, I was drawn to him like a moth to a flame. Something existed between us that not even the fire of disloyalty could turn to ash.

Some called it obsession. I called it love.

The world we lived in called it an act of betrayal. To disavow meant certain death.

When the heart takes an oath, though, it is more sacred than any vow spoken—it’s the one thing worth living and worth dying for.

4,5 🖤🖤♥️♥️⚡️💥🌪🌟🌟🌟🌟s❣️❣️❗️❗️

I am trying to put a few sentences together for this outstanding story, but I don’t think I will do it justice...
It blew my mind and was the best work from the Underworld Kings series I have read so far. 🤩

My respects to the author! 🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️

(It wasn’t a 5 stars due to some extra inner thoughts. Regardless. I was deeply invested in this journey.)

“If you bleed, I hemorrhage.” “If you die, I die,”

4.5 review
Another amazing mafia romance by Bella. I say it in every review i do for one of her books, no one writes passionate mafia romance like this woman. She writes men who know the true meaning of love. They fight for there woman, they go up against anyone or anything in there world to keep them safe.
This books is an all American mafia romance. True crime, dangerous men. Disavow is another masterpiece. You get completely lost in this world. I honestly wish it wasn’t a standalone.

Little about the book - this is a famiglia / organisation (MURDER INC) where you have to take a blood oath. If you betray the rules you face death even the woman who work within the businesses. Theres no fraternising with the man and woman within the organisation. The woman can arranged marriages set up by them but can’t marry anyone within it.

Rosalia is orphaned, She grows up within the famiglia care homes. When she turns of age she is housed and given work within the organisation, she works at a club/spa a cover up place for politicians and man who work along side the mafia when they shouldn’t.
The boss of Murder Ice sets her up to have an arrange marriage but before they get married the man she’s meant to spend her life with is killed in a car crash and Rosalia looses all her memories. She goes back to her life working for the organisation and doing what she’s told. She doesn’t remember anything she knows no difference but she drawn to a man she’s not meant to. She doesn’t understand there connection. He is Aniello one of the leader who runs the club that Rosalia works in but he is not the boss. He’s a man who has done what he’s told all his life but no anymore. This is very different mafia romance, I have honestly never read anything like this before. I haven’t explained the plot that well lol but it is very unique. Full of secret, very streamy moments.
The side characters are brilliant. Cilla is Rosalia roommate she brings so much laughter to this story.

I’m very intrigued by Abe Ruth and Quentin King. Do they have a book? 😂

I absolutely loved every part of this book.

This is book 10 in the Underworld King series. There are 18 books all together. They are all standalone books, written by different authors. So they can be read any way you like.
I will definitely be reading them.

One Word---BRILLIANT! Bella Di Corte hit it out of the park AGAIN! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

Just when I think she can't possibly create another hero as great as her Mac, in Machiavellian, or her Brando, in the Fausti series, (my favorite books) or a love as immense and perfect as theirs, she gives us Aniello Assanti and his Rosalia! All three male characters are strong, passionate and dangerous men who love with every fiber of their being. All three will do anything, sacrifice anything, for their loves. But that is where the similarities in the heros and the stories end. Yes, they are all Mafia romances, but each story is completely different and each Hero is a unique breed of man.

Their women are just as strong; just as fierce in protecting their loved ones. Yet each is as different as mangoes, tomatoes and nuts. All are fruits, but they grow very differently, have different tastes and textures. So too, are these heroines. Their backgrounds, motivations and the challenges they face are just as diverse.

When I started reading the introduction, I thought it was part of the story and was a little confused, until I realized it was a message from the author giving some insight into an organization known as Murder, inc and how the idea for this story came about. I did my own research, and yes, Murder Inc., actually existed from about 1929 to the late 40's. It was the enforcement arm of the American-Italian Mafia and other mob/criminal organizations! This story is based on the premise of a re-emergence of that organization under a similar name. As such, this story is a darker, more bloody and the danger more eminent.

This is an organization where blood oaths are required, as is obedience to rules and orders. Disobedience can get you punished or killed; breaking the blood oath (disavowing) or betrayal means death. This story takes place in that environment. It's about an unsanctioned relationship, one forbidden by the blood oath.

When the story opens you discover the h (Rosalia a/k/a Midnight Rose) has suffered a two year memory loss due to an accident. As the story progressed and I discovered more about the accident, I began to realize that there is definitely a prequel here that I really want to read! I won't say anymore because one of the best parts of this story is the twists and turns as the story unfolds and truths are revealed! It will have you turning the pages wanting to know more.

What I really love most about this story, besides it's uniqueness, is that it has all the feels! Bella's Hero's have such a deep and all consuming love for their heroines. It's the kind of love every woman dreams of but only a few are lucky enough to find. Bella Di Corte has such a way with words that she not only makes it believable, she makes you feel it. She can make you feel all the emotions ... love, fear, uncertainty, angst ... so that you experience it with the characters! She can also make you laugh in between the dangerous and uncertain times.

Bella Di Corte is a skilled, gifted writer with an amazing imagination. With her words she builds and weaves her way through a story that will leave you emotionally drained when it's over, but yet still wanting more. Now one of my top favorite authors, I will read (and re-read) anything she writes. So Bella...get busy on Aniello's and Rosalia's prequel! I have to know how it started!

Disavow is part of the Underworld Kings books, one of 17 books/stories all by different authors. Each is a stand alone Mafia Romance. I received this one as an ARC for an honest review! Honestly....I absolutely loved it!

I had to take a break after finishing this book to, well… to digest it all. I needed it all to settle.

Ok. I’m going to start by saying: I’m pleased to say, Bella’s definitely done it again!

Let’s start with the premise:
Bella found her inspiration for this tale from the ever popular “Back in The Day” stories of the mobsters run amok all over the East Coast. One of the most (in)famous, and most feared of those stories, is Murder, Incorporated - or Murder, Inc. The members of Murder, Inc were the boogeymen of Made Men. Made Men were The real Mob. They kill to get in to The Mob; and there are strict rules, with heavy consequences for breaking them. The members of Murder, Inc were their boogeymen. Murder, Inc’s job, their ONLY job, was to police Organized Crime. They were independent from any one family, or group. They were more than above the law; they were the higher authority. They enforced the rules. They killed the killers.

Now, if the members of Murder, Inc were this scary, and this powerful, imagine what that says about the man in-charge of Murder, Inc. Well, if the members were the boogeymen of Organized Crime; then he was THE BOOGEYMAN. He was considered a monster, but as in MONSTER. He was THE most powerful, most feared man in a world full of powerful & feared men.

The basics:
Aniello Assanti. Aniello was raised in The Life. He swore a blood-oath to serve, then worked his way up through the ranks until he became The Monster. He runs a modern-day version of Murder, Inc out of an ultra-exclusive, spa-like clubhouse for Organized Criminals. His day-job? Run the Club. But Aniello came up through the ranks. He’s not afraid to get a little “hands-on”.

Rosalia Lombardozzi aka Midnight Rose. Rosalia was also raised in the life, but as the orphaned child of a Made Man. Her life belongs to the Mob. She swore a blood-oath to no dating, no men, until she turns 30. Now her day-job (night job) is similar to a hostess, but in the Club. She’s one of the managers of the other hostesses.

Rosalia has a problem. She was in an auto accident. The entirety of the last 2 years was just erased. There’s a secret everyone is keeping from her, and it has to do with why the other hostesses hate her. Just as she starts to remember, a headache will blind her every time.

And then there’s Aniello. There’s potent attraction, a forbidden desire, between them. She can see him fighting it with all he can, but it’s a losing battle. So maybe she has more than one problem.

Then it happens… one night Rosalia pushes Aniello too far, and an attraction crosses the line into something more. Now they’ve BOTH violated their blood-oath. There will be consequences, but finding out the secrets of her lost 2 years may be worth it because Aniello is keeping the biggest secrets from her. In finding out those secrets, all the members of Organized Crime will find out just how Aniello became The Boogeyman,

The author:
Now Bella, she’s not a single genre author. She pulls from different genres, tosses them all in the blender, and creates her own writing style. She has a way of creating characters, creating a world, that just sucks you in so deep you’re lost in it. She builds the characters so you become invested. You feel for them. You root for them. You cry with them. You get angry on their behalf. She weaves her magic web and sucks you in so far, so fast that before you can blink it’s 6am and your alarm is ringing just as you finish the story. Now, you’re just lying there, in an emotional puddle, wondering what the hell just happened.

I can’t wait for the next one!

I am quite ashamed that I didn't read a Bella Di Corte book before. Because she is a force to be reckoned with. Disavow was a poetic mafia romance. That may sound odd but I don't know what else to say to capture the sheer beauty of this story. It carried the darkness and craziness of a mafia world but the romance was heartbreakingly beautiful. Haunted. So deep and devastating and perfect. This is the story that makes you soul sing and die and reach romance heaven.
.
Rosalia has lost her memory after an accident where her fiance died. She lives in Desolate and has been a part of mafia world since she became orphan. She works at a good rank in Clun Desolation, that is a front for all illegal activities. And all members of mafia in all capacity are under an oath. To never fall in love or fraternise with another member of mafia. The punishment is death. But Rosalia cannot help how her body and heart comes alive whenever she comes close to Aniello “The Titanium Candle” Assanti. CEO of Muder For Hire.Inc. A company that kills for money and Aniello is the most lethal weapon. Rosalia's obsession is deadly specially when Aniello wants her too.
.
I didn't expect this level of emotional sorcery from Bella di Corte. Aniello is the mask of ruthless killer. He is someone everyone is scared of but he has a fatal flaw and that's his weakness is Rosalia. He will literally burn the world down for her. One of the greatest antihero ever. On the other hand, Rosalia is such an amazing woman. She lost parts of her memory those are very important. She feels broken. Incomplete. Her beauty and kindness and strength just blew me away. And she feels her connection with Aniello is something beyond simple lust. And that connection is the selling point of this story. Rosalia makes Aniello feel and that man with his complete devotion and mindless possessiveness is my definition of book boyfriend. He is dangerous but he is downright deadly when his own world tries to take away his love. Can any hero be any more perfect?Trust me..I felt like the author is squeezing my heart till I cannot breathe. Pure perfection. The angst is mindblowing. The twists and turns are insane. Even before I knew it, the story consumed me. The words were so pretty and vicious that I wanted to cry! Such complex and layered characters. Such breathtaking feels. If you didn't believe love can defy and beat everything, you will believe after it.
.
Bella Di Corte has become my must read author with a single book and that should tell you Disavow is a true epic mafia romance.

The Underworld Kings collection has allowed me to discover plenty of new authors and fill my need for Mafia Romance. Di Corte is one of these authors who I have discovered has a talent for delivering gripping Mafia romances with substance.

There is more to this story that first meets the eyes. Rosalina has no memory yet of her recent accident, she has carried on with the life she has built part of the Mafia. She knows the rules and her place but there is a big obstacle in her way. Aniello, a killer, literally and figuratively to women. He does things to Rosalina that question her judgement. She may have lost something but with Aniello she feels the completeness returning.
However there is the cardinal rule holding them both hostage and Disavow is the story of breaking those chains and letting ruin run rampage.
I enjoyed my first book from this author and it will not be the last one I pick up from this author.

I LOVED THIS STORY SO MUCH! Let me first start by saying I wasn’t sure I would like this book. It’s a totally different vibe in my opinion, not being mafia but Murder Inc (read the story to understand the difference) but I truly enjoyed every page. I have enjoyed practically everything this author has written and I can now add this book to my list.

You meet Rosalia who was in an accident and lost a good few years from her memory. She has taken an oath to a club she works at, meaning she can not get involved with any of the workers in a romantic type of way. Aniello runs the show for murder for hire, he’s also very much Rosalias boss. There is so much to uncover, especially with Rosalia not remembering who she was or is now.

These two characters brought the tension, heat, angst and passion. This story in my opinion, was such a romance. Aniello ugh this man. I wont give to much away because this story is packed with so much! The twists and turns were heart pounding good but the romance of these two lovers who have to start over, is what made this story so unbelievably amazing.

Must read!

I didn’t finish this one. I don’t think the writing style is for me. I’m not going to rate it as I don’t have strong feelings of not liking it, it just didn’t hit the spot for me. For my personal taste, it had a lot of narrative and I wished there had been more dialogue, and I found the connection between the MMC and FMC to not be the style of romance I prefer. But others may really love this one if they enjoy those things. ❤️

I was looking forward to reading this book and I liked it but not as much as I expected.

For me, this book felt a bit messy, overloaded with information that was necessarily not required but at the same time not providing what was needed.

This book was very long and was bored sometimes, even if was interested and grabbed by the storyline.

I was frustrated with the end. From my perspective, I would've loved the story to be told with "the before" as the beginning. If you read the book, you know what I mean.

It would've made more sense and preferably to have two books.

Wonderful story ❤

Story: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4.5)
Trope: second chance
Angst: 😱😱😱
Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥
Triggers: none

Disavow by Bella Di Corte is a standalone in the multi-author series that makes up the Underworld Kings. Some are interrelated, but they all take p!ace in the same "world". Disavow is told in first person with dual perspective.

Disavow was quite the ride! I thought the storyline was super interesting and original for an amnesia trope. The storyline was a bit slow and meandering in spots, but overall it was well written story. I loved both of the MCs, you really felt for them and their struggle to shake themselves loose from their prison despite noe having all the info they needed. I love Bella's writing and think this was a great addition to the series!

“These are my veins imprinted on your body. You are forever marked as mine.”

FIVE STARS. FIVE STARS. FIVE BIG FLASHY, GOLD PLATED STARS! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Bella, how? How do you continue to blow my mind with these characters you write?!!?

Bella is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. She has a way with words~she doesn’t just tell a story, but she shows it to you, has you live it. Each character has so much depth that you feel like they could be real & not just a figment of your imagination.

I was afraid that I wasn’t going to love this like the Fausti series but I was pleasantly surprised with just how much I enjoyed Rosalia & Aniello.

Rosalia is a lost soul. Since losing a chunk of her memory from an accident that’s still a mystery, she goes through the motions of life working at an organization that has 1 rule. Don’t get involved with someone within the organization. Of course rules are meant to be broken & she can’t ignore the pull she has to the forbidden Aniello.

Aniello is sin personified. He’s the forbidden fruit that Rosalia can’t help but bite into. He holds secrets but he is divided in being loyal to those he gave his oath to, & the woman he’s pledged his love to.

When they both give into temptation & this crazy obsession, lines are crossed that can’t be uncrossed. Rosalia starts piecing things together, trying to figure out how this man can be a part of her present & future, if she can’t remember her past.

Bella’s books are books you need to just dive into blind. I stay away from blurbs & reviews, & her books are beyond my expectations.

*First time reading author

Disavow is the first time reading this author, and I have to say I highly enjoyed it. Disavow has a unique way of drawing you into the story. Aniello is a strong man in the mafia who has taken a vow that no one will ever get the job. Rosalia works for a "club" that is mafia-based. She knows all the ins and outs of life but can never ask questions or talk about it. However, Rosalia can never get Aniello out of her mind, even though she can not remember the last two years of her life. She knows he has something to do with it.

Disavow is a fast pace, love impacted, who done it, mystery, killing spree of goodness. I highly enjoyed this book and would recommend it. Excellent addition to the Underworld Kings!

DNF @ 40%

This book was.... it was something else.... and not in a good way.. Obviously I dnfed it.. duh! But holy hell... I don't have words so this shall be some sort of bullet points things

- too much monologue. It was like the MCs were obsessed with hearing their own voices and it wasn't even anything important in the monologues. The same 3 thoughts repeated over and over again in 20,000 different ways. Got tired of it way too fast.
- way too verbose! And always with things that didn't need such flowery language. And for all of that flowery language, no effin dialogue. 14 chapters in and there might have been maybe 20? 30 dialogues? Most of it in phrases or single words if it was the MMC and FMC talking. And whatever it was, be it dialogue or internal monologue, it just never made sense..? It was all over the place and was very difficult to keep track of. I guess the author was going for suspense but it came out confused.
-dialogues that made me go huh...? Example -

“He’s been over to my house before, all right? He always smells like citrus and blood to me. In terms of food, I’ve always thought of him as a blood orange. But this time, blood is the strongest.”

For context, Celia, a chick the FMC rooms with, knows that the MMC is in the FMC's room coz she can smell him!!!!! Through the door!!!!! What is this?? What even is this?? Are you a blood hound?? Who...? What....? How.....?
- and finally the scene that made me quit. The MMC and the FMC finally do the horizontal tango in a bath house...? A sauna....? I don't know... They keep saying its too steamy to see anything and that its a degree above hell. So make of it what you will. Anyhu back to the point. They do the deed and after, the FMC is in pain, as in I-can't-sit-or-stand pain. She comes home, has a talk with her roomie about how she isn't hurt, that she just had some rough sex while reminiscing that the MMC pushed her into a wall so hard she hit her head on a peg in the wall and bled, and after he pulled out a chunk of her hair and she bled, and he used that blood to stroke himself????? Am I the only one who threw up at that??
This author is going on the never ever list. I need to go scrub my brain with bleach now.

First I have to start off by saying that I have not had good experiences with "Multiple-Author" Series. Disavow single-handedly broke this bad chain of disappointment. Unbelievably beautiful, a masterpiece, magnificent, sensual, and utterly devastating in the best way!

Right away I was pulled into this story from the Authors Note, I am such a fan when Author's give you a tiny peek into their thought process or just give the readers' a little something sweet and extra to get you ready to start the story.

I went into this book knowing absolutely nothing. Not even the blurb. And I urge everyone to do just that if possible. I was so sucked into this world. Although, it was modern times I kept feeling the vibes of 1950's/1960's aesthetic. Back when the men were suave and the women put so much care into their looks, leaving the house in nothing short of perfection. I was also so surprised on how much mystery this book contained!

Rosalia (FMC) has been in a terrible car accident and lost her memories from the past couple years. She is essentially owned by the Mob and works at this unique Mob Establishment, that caters to the gangsters/mobsters/men of power. She was kind but also fierce; at times she did frustrate me but after really letting in sink in that the "mob life" is what she grew up in. I had a better grasp on why she acted the way she did...she was molded by mob rules. But, that said she still didn't lose her fire within her. Aniello (MMC) is this cold, stoic feared hitman/assassin who is of the highest ranks in the mob. This man, every time he spoke in his language had me weak in the knees. He was so extremely deadly and sexy at the same time. I loved him!!

The entire story felt almost like a "whodunnit". I was pointing fingers at everyone. I didn't know who to trust and I enjoyed having to chase the answers through the book. Rosalia has a roommate, Priscilla/Cilla that I loved so much. She is the Psychopathic fiesty Italian BFF I need in my life. The twists, the gut punches, the absolute brilliance of this story is chef's kiss. There is so much sensual beauty I nearly cried twice during this book. Also, the spice did not disappoint. I can't rave any more about how spectacular this read was. I still feel it marinating in my brain days later. And the ending?! Has to be one of the best HEA's I have ever read!

Some of my favorite quotes that deserve recognition are:

"In a world that felt dead, he made me feel alive, almost safe." "He was a fucking killer, after all."

"A man doesn't open and close your doors, he's not a man. You'll insult me if you open that door."

"Any of these animals think they're going to claim what's mine will know. They're going to smell me on you. And they're not going to think anymore. You belong to me, Rosalia."

"I'm your only Oath."

"With his free hand, he touched his lips." "Smiling, I placed a soft kiss on his lips, and then, like a deep whoosh of air after going too long without it, he freed me."

"If you bleed, I hemorrhage." "If you die, I die."

"I never knew how much of the devil existed inside of me until I met you." He kissed my shoulder. "Then I knew what it meant to be human. To fall, as they say."

I love this book with my entire heart and it's on my "Always Recommend List".

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

Aniella Assanti was a monster dressed in a gentlemen's suit. He was everything I should've feared and run away from. A walking nightmare. He belonged to an organization that valued money over life; power over free will; codes over love. And if that wasn't enough of a deterrent, he was strictly forbidden. I, Rosalia Lombardozzi, solemnly vow...no fraternizing with the men who belong. I worked for the same organization and even with that oath forever marking my tongue, I was drawn to him like a moth to a flame. Something existed between us that not even the fire of disloyalty cold turn to ash Some called it obsession. I called it love. The world we lived in called it an act of betrayal. To disavow meant certain death. When the hearts takes and oath, though, it is more sacred than any vow spoken-it's the one thing worth living and worth dying for.

This isthe story of Aniello and Roslia who are oath members of the Family. A dangerous Family where everything is dangerous, never fall in love because that is dangerous and could lead to your death. Roslia wasn't raised like most young girls are when she was orphaned and raised by la familia. This la familia isn't your average one though, there are some serious twists. Everyone in the group home knew what type of life they were going to be living. When they come of age they are given a choice, provide enough money to start a new life away from there or stay within the la familia and be set for life. With nothing to lose Roslia chooses to stay even with the rule that you are never ever allowed to fall in love with a man in the organization. That shouldn't be a problem for Roslia she has no intention of falling in love ever; until she meets Aniello.
Aniello is the man that the familia calls when someone needs to be taken care of. The one that can get in and out without a trace just like a ghost. He also though runs a club that is also the meeting place for a meeting to happen when someone needs his services. He hires the girls from the orphanage to ensure that none of the girls date the men there and find out secrets that they should never find out. It was all going so well until Rosailia walks into his club.
This is a forbidden romance for sure and it was so good that I don't think I laid it down once. This was my first book by Bella Di Corte but I will for sure read her again.

Amnesia romance

Well this one snuck up and bit me in the butt. I went in blind and didn't know what to expect, other than an organized crime romance.

Rosalia is a waitress at the exclusive Club Desolation that caters to all types of men. She's got a wicked case of amnesia however so she pretty much sticks to her job and keeps to herself. Her fiancee passed away in the same accident that claimed her memory, and she has no family since she was orphaned as a baby. Her life has always been closely tied to the organized crime world through her home, and now her work.

The elusive Aniello is a killer of killers, running an underground organization that carries out hits for members of the national crime syndicate he's associated with. He lives and breathes his job and couldn't imagine a life outside it.

Aniello and Rosalia have occasionally crossed paths, eyeing one another, testing one another, but she's always been too smart than to get close to him. She keeps her distance, keeps her head down, and does her job. Over and over again. But slowly things start to shift between them. Their glances linger longer than they should, she gets more brazen when she interacts with him, and her body starts reacting to him.

What I loved about this book is that insane connection between Rosalia and Aniello. The sweet little angel and the big bad wolf. He plays the dark hitman role very well, being bold with his words and actions, and never backing down. His attraction to Rosalia is delicately woven through the pages in a very poetic way. As much as he's off limits to her, she's also off limits to him, but he's never been one to play by the rules. There was an underlying sense of angst and yearning I felt early on in the book, and I carried those emotions with me as I read. I think that really helped me connect with this story which is a good thing because of how the story was written and how the amnesia played such a huge role in the plot. My gut told me to keep reading, carry on, it'll all make sense some way, some how, and the payoff to me was a spectacular, emotional romance I would have never imagined reading. So kudos to this author for making my heart hurt then healing it.

Bella DiCorte’s writing is what dreams are made of. I found this author fairly recently-and I really could have kicked myself because she’s an author that’s easily in her own class of talent. I try and recommend her as much as possible-to try and give someone the gift of reading her words for the first time, like someone gave me, is probably one of the best things I can do.
This story was just pure brilliance to its very core. Aniello has been one of my favorite mafia characters-I’ll probably ever read. His intelligence was incomparable to any other hero I’ve read before-and his devotion just left me breathless over and over again. Rosalia-gosh she was so strong despite everything that she went through. Her character Was so complex and so deep-I just absolutely loved her POV when we got it.
I can’t give away much more-just know the writing is absolutely flawless, and this is one of the best organized crime books you’ll ever read. The characters were just perfection, and the book was unputdownable. A MUST read and top read of the year!

Had this on my to read for a while and decided to dive in. First I am tired of long ass monologues! This one went on and on without end between both characters. I wanted to feel the connection or the interest with the characters and got nothing. I was getting bored.
To make matters worst we get a lot of flowery descriptions that were a bit too in-depth and lacking for my liking. For a mafia novel I want to be dragged in with a bang and this didn’t do it. Maybe I’ll circle back to this probably on audio.

Mafia, amnesia, mystery, and angst make this a page turner. Being a part of The Family has its perks but asking is dangerous. Love has consequences. In this case, love could lead to death. Rosalia and Aniello take us through a wild adventure.
This author is a great storyteller and per usual, the writing is wonderful. Great characters, flowing plot and perfect love story.
Part of a multi author series but a stand-alone.

Bella DiCorte just knows how to write truly beautiful, romantic stories. The kind of books that just hit different.
Want a REAL man who puts his woman over all else? Look no further. I love that in a hero.
I have read a bunch of books in the Underworld Kings series and have enjoyed them. This is probably my favorite so far. This is a series of standalones set in the same world and can be read in any order.

Aniello and Rosalia are two dynamic people with backgrounds in the mafia. Rosalia always refused to date men in the organization but Aniello tempts her. The men in in this world will do anything to protect the people they care about and are fierce in the business. A journey worth taking in this series.

Wow

I wasn't prepared for the twists and turns that this story took. This was a wild ride. From the first page to the last I was 1000% invested. These characters and their connection/story was intense. The chemistry was off the charts. The twist that I didn't see at the end? Perfection.

I would love to have seen the story for these characters before everything went to he'll for Rosalia. Highly recommend this book. Everything in this interconnected world so far has been fantastic.

Aniello and Rosalia in Disavow are everything! Their story is penned with vivid details that immediately capture the reader and immerses them into the dark underworld. Twisted plot lines and tantalizing characters make for an all-consuming must read.

Wow just wow.
From start to finish this book left me shell shocked and speechless. This was my favourite book from this author to date and easily went onto my top reads of '21 list.
Now here's the thing... normally I can gush about an astounding book like this for a bit thanks to it being huge in every way, BUT to go with it's girthy length is a truckload of secrets and surprises. Hence I'm sitting here mind blown and slack jawed.
Honestly I can't find the right words to describe how perfect the characters and plot were without ruining anything, so I'll just say this... ONE CLICK IMMEDIATELY.
This was the perfect addition to this multi author series, and will definitely be hard to top.

Could not get into it. I got to chapter three and it was all still telling and no doing, no dialogue, no personal connections, nothing that got me interested in the story. I started skipping ahead to see if I could find chunks of dialogue that would pull me into the story and make me care about the characters. Nope, didn't find any. Finally jumped to last page, nothing but telling and explaining about how the character felt. Could not finish it. It was a disappointment in the Underworld Kings Series.
