I enjoyed the storyline. The grammar and context needs to be improved especially writing in so many different point of views. The word “calculated” was repeated so many times – perhaps using a thesaurus could have helped the author to use other variations of the word. Other than using he/she in the wrong context; I was able to ignore it and use the correct gender assignment.

The actual story is beautiful. I was so enraged with Juan Mu’s character at the beginning but as the story progresses we see how he has been manipulated and lied too. Patricia Xia; Karen Xi and Flora Wu are the main antagonists of this book. The protagonist, Jamie Ye initially is the small shy person but she grows as the story continues. It was lovely to watch her growth to a strong, independent woman despite the challenges she faced.

The final chapter was the only disappointing part of this whole story. I felt that the reunion of Jamie and Juan needed to be addressed. Perhaps a wedding and a follow up a few months or years later in an epilogue? I personally felt the relationship between Roy and Alexa whilst had been growing in the past few chapters was rushed - this could have been explored further (again in an epilogue) instead of the words written in the final chapter.

Ignoring these few points, the story was interesting. It had funny moments; sad experiences and everything else thrown in.

The book has a lot of grammatical errors. The story is really interesting and keeps you hooked till the end. It’s full of twists and turns. However, it makes the reader go a little impatient in between. Also, it gets somewhat excessively stretched out according to me.
Other than this, the book is great.

Most ridiculous novel I've ever read. I don't know where to start. It's long, tedious reading. Though the plot could have been interesting, the execution was horrendous. The author brought in so many secondary characters, it makes a person's head spin to keep track of who is who. The heroine was this ridiculous, unforgiving, hot tempered woman you want to slap. She's very unlikeable. For at least 90 percent of the story she was so rude and nasty to her ex, despite him bending over backwards to show his love, concern and regret for past mistakes. And the ending was a quickly thrown together fiasco where everything just fell into place for the benefit of the main characters. No real thought went into it. I will not recommend this book to anyone who wants an entertaining intelligent read.

The lead characters seem to be entangled in the web of vicious games by the evil characters. The traps laid by bad people seem to be never ending. There are many characters involved which keeps the plot interesting and the book ends well.
Justice prevails in the end.

That is the app I got the book from. It is a second chance romance. There is growth on the male lead that was desperately needed and the female leads quite strength was appreciated. The plot was a little repetitive.
