Being an only child has its perks . . . and its disadvantages. My parents want the best for me. That I get. But they also want to dictate my life. Not gonna happen. They want me to move back home, but I like living three hours away. Then I meet the perfect guy. He’s another reason not to leave my small town. My parents don’t like that I’m not moving—they don’t know about the guy—and demand their stuff back . . . everything they’ve bought me. What am I supposed to do underemployed and without a car? I can’t ask my boyfriend to save me from that. But I’ll do anything to figure out life on my own terms. Even if it means working on a goat farm. Once I establish my independence, I introduce Harper to my parents. They hate every choice I make, but I think they’ll love him. I’m not sure what I’ll do if they don’t.
Remi Carrington is the figment of Pamela Humphrey's imagination. She loves romance & chocolate, enjoys disappearing into a delicious book, and considers people-watching a sport. She was born in the pages of the novel Just You and then grew into an alter ego.
She writes sweet romance set in Texas. Her new series, Bluebonnets & Billionaires, will launch in Jan 2019. Her books are part of the Phrey Press imprint.
Oh holy swooniness Batman! Y'all. It's official! Cami and Harper's book is my absolute favorite in the series so far! 💗
When we first met Cami in previous books, she was all over the place and you couldn't help but laugh at her antics. While she has no filter and calls them like she sees them, she'll be your most loyal friend and will always be there when you need her. She's definitely a handful but she's pretty special and deserves someone pretty incredible.
Enter in Harper. Y'all. These two have the best cute-meets. (Yes, I meant meets.) Both times had me laughing and I couldn't wait to watch their story unfold. And oh what a story it was! I had one of those goofy grins on my face the entire time I was reading and I let out all kinds of little dreamy sighs. These two are absolutely adorable! 😍
One of the things I love most about Harper is his ability to know just what Cami needs at the very moment she needs it. He was always there saying and doing all the right things. He picks her up when life knocks her down and he's her biggest cheerleader. He lets her be herself and is completely smitten with her. He finds her antics endearing and loves her perfectly. *dreamy sigh* I seriously love these two!
If you haven't been able to tell, I absolutely love this series! I love seeing old friends and meeting new ones. I cannot wait to read Delaney and Eli's book. I have a feeling it will be very entertaining. 😉 Poor Eli! 😂
Ms. Carrington has quickly become one of my favorite authors. Her books have all been such a fun break from reality and I have loved all the ones I've read so far. I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next!
And we can't forget my casting. *dreamy sigh* I'm in love! What do you think?!
I loved Harper in the previous books so I was excited to get his story! He is just a great, normal guy. Didn't have any issues, just loved life, was kind and liked to laugh. Cami was a perfect fit for him. She is full of life and isn't afraid to laugh at herself. I liked that she really wanted independence and even though it may mean losing the relationship with her parents, she was willing to fight for what she wanted. This was a fun installment in the Never Say Never series. I like how this author is able to keep the main couple at the forefront, but still include past characters and introduce new ones without losing track of the main romantic leads!
This is definitely a favorite of this series!! After reading the other books I was curious about Cami, and honestly I wasn’t sure if I’d like her too much based on the other books. Seriously though, she is so endearing and kind, albeit spunky, and I loved hearing about her upbringing and what made her do and be who she was.
Enter Harper and oh my goodness- he is the perfect swoony hero!! I just loved him, and the way he lit up at seeing Cami was my favorite. This is definitely a sweet and toe-curling story that will leave you with a dreamy sigh at the clean romance.
This is an entertaining story with strong characters in Cami and Harper. The author does a fantastic job building their story and painting her scenes perfectly. She had me laughing out loud throughout the story. I loved watching Cami asserting her independence as well as all the support from Harper. It's well written ,moves quickly and smoothly and is a fun ,enjoyable read.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
I was hesitant to read this book of the series as Cami was a little “high strung” for me but this did not disappoint! Her clumsiness is relatable and raw. I’m so glad I decided to not skip this one! It was almost like a socialites reality show. I found myself laughing out loud at times. Great read!
Reads like a cheesy Hallmark movie script, but it made me laugh, cry and sigh. Remi Carrington's books are lighthearted, wholesome, and just plain sweet, and I am here for every single one. Hallmark cheesiness and all.
More Than a Pair of Jeans, #1 - Lovely. Funny. Cute. I had so much fun reading this sweet romance. Wonderful characters and interesting story lines. Written by a lovely Texan and set in Texas, complete with horses, cattle and goats. Cannot forget about the mice and kittens. Plenty of social media, too. Has a preview of the story. 5*
More Than a Pretty Face, #2 - I just love this series. This story has such cute and sweet characters with plenty of humor. No silly mind games, just people trying to make a life with the person that they love while taking care of their friends. Living well, working hard and loving with all their hearts and souls. 5*
Stargazer Springs Ranch series: Wrangled by Lilith, #1 - I love this sweet, funny story, even when the last page came too soon. Everyone was good people whom I met before with the Stargazer Cowboy series. The dialog between Beau and Lily had me hurting from all the belly laughs. Ava added her share to the mix. Good story lines. Texans will especially enjoy this book, location and dialog. 5*
Enchanted by Joji, #2 - I love the books Remi writes. Well-written, romantic, funny, and nice characters you wish were real. Actually, you'll find people like them all over Texas. This second chance romance for a couple of 40-somethings is another fun read in this series. It is without the typical drama found in other books where she's a nut job and he has no backbone. Both work through their pasts to reach their future without the stupid formula problems, drama and actions. A feel good story. 5*
Helped by Ava, #3 - Ava is so strong in all the other books, yet, here was a bit of a headcase with her lack of self-confidence. But all worked out in this sweet, funny marriage-to-dating romance. That lil youngin Mason shared some good advice. The Mrs. Kravitz church member met her Samantha, mean ole biddy. 4*
Inspired by Mindy, #4 - You're never too old to change. Sweet. Romantic. They are both headcases, they get better once the ball gets rolling and they're working towards the same goal. The route they take is old fashioned and I love it. It is one of the best ways to learn about the other. Sir had his act together. 4* Stargazer Springs Ranch series end.
Never Say Never Series: Three Things I'd Never Do!, #1 - I read Enchanted by Joji when I discovered this series featured characters that would later appear in the Stargazer Springs Ranch series. Skid to a halt and shifted to reading this sweet, funny romance. I love all the characters, the interesting story lines, and the fact the author does not do the typical stupid formula, nut jobs and immature, stupid drama and decisions. It is easy to slip into one of Remi's well written books and not come back to reality until the last page. So have the next book on hand. Spoiler: The last bathroom scene is original and just as great as the first bathroom scene. Sweet and clean, nothing nasty. 5*
One Guy I'd Never Date, #2 - They have been in love for twenty years but did not know it. Big Brother keeps his Little Sister and his Best Friend apart while he did not follow that rule with her friend and co-worker. Carrot is a bit silly and Zach is not perfect. He puts beans in chili but he did have Moon Pies and RCs (RahC and chocolate or banana Moon Pies, best dessert mix back in the 60s). Waldo is a hoot. 4*
Two Words I'd Never Say Again, #3 - This is so much fun to read. There is a lot of humor, along with one of my favorite characters, Joji. Joji teamed up with Nacha's mom is a continuous hoot. Mix in the rest of the cast and it is just a sweet second chance romance story. 5*
One Choice I'd Never Make, #4 - I love Lilith and Joji, and now I love Cami. This was so much fun to read. No head games, just someone who knew she was good enough; no lack of self-confidence for Cami. Harper is so romantic and has a good head on his shoulders. Man, it is difficult not to go into book report mode. Fun. Romance. Wonder support characters, just like a large family or old-fashioned neighborhood where everyone had your back. 5*
Three Rules I’d Never Break!, #5 - All the guys in these three related series are great. This is a cute romance complete with a dog, a goat and a '71 Datsun. 5*
Two Risks I’d Never Take Again!, #6 - Sweet. Funny. Relaxing little romance with the same fun gang and a new story line. There are several chapters giving updates on the whole gang two years later. 5*
One Whopper of a Love Story, #7 - A fun tale about a mermaid and 21 frogs and the guy who rescued her. Layla is a fun person and Nico is another of the perfect guys. 5* Never Say Never Series ends.
Kissing Holly - A simply cute, sweet romance between two people who knew each other in school. He was dating her older sister in high school. They are perfect for each other with their large caring hearts, their sense of humor and their holiday names. There is a lot of joking about their names. Plenty of humor. Plenty of love. Plenty of feel good and happiness. 5*
I've loved this series! There is plenty of humor, main character sparks, and a sweet, sweet romance in each story.
One Choice I'd Never Make features Ethan Harper, known just as Harper to his friends, and Camille Phillips, known as Cami to everyone but her parents. Cami has an engineering degree, like her father, but unlike him, she HATES the job. When she quits her plum job and takes a part-time job as a receptionist for her friends' photography studio, her dad hits the roof. In an effort to "reel her back in", he takes back everything she bought with "his" money. Will Cami find a way to survive without her dad's money backing her up?
Fireman Harper has never really lacked for women throwing themselves at him, but when a woman in a leopard costume does it, that's new. Realizing she's terrified, he rolls with it but when the misunderstanding is cleared up, she flees without her tail, and without giving him her name. At a pool party thrown by mutual friends, they meet again. He's drawn to everything about her - looks, joy in life, you name it. They just get each other. The more they're together, the stronger their bond. Can they overcome her father's disapproval to hold onto a love neither expected?
These two were SO FUN! Their wit plays off each other perfectly. It's easy to see why they hit it off so fast. As I said, this whole series has been great, but so far, I think this one was my favorite. Highly recommend!
Cami is modelling a leopard costume as part of a book cover, she leaves the venue to make her way back to her car, she needs to walk down an alleyway, she hears footsteps behind her and walks quicker, difficult in high heeled boots, at the end of the alley a male figure appears, she rushes to him and hugs him, telling him someone is following her, turns out it's an older man with her tail!!! And so the fun begins. This follows on from Enchanted by Joji, another great read from Remi. It's not necessary to read it first but it's well worth a read. Cami is trying to decide what she wants to do with her life, she's an only child, her parents are still paying for her phone, car and clothes. Her father has decided that she needs to support herself, he's got her an interview as an engineer, which is what she qualified as, but she hated the job she had doing that. She meets her hero again at a friend's pool party, he's a fireman called Harper.
This is another great story from Remi, it's not only amusing but thought provoking. What should we expect from our children?
The evening that I sat down to read One Choice I'd Never Make was at the end of a not-so-great day. It was the right choice for my nightly reading. It's a fun, clean, romance that provided a perfect ending for the characters and of my day. The inner dialogue and some of the action is hilarious. I liked the main and supporting characters with the exception of Cami's ex-boyfriend and her parents. (You'll have to read the book to find out if the parents redeem themselves.) Harper is pretty much the perfect boyfriend. He does such sweet, thoughtful things. And I loved the goats and Cami's interaction with them. There's a great HEA and epilogue, plus a little look into the couple for the next book. I definitely plan to read more of this series and more of Remi Carrington's other books. I recommend this to clean romance and to romantic comedy readers. You're in for a real treat. I received a complimentary copy. I chose to write a review and tell you about this excellent book.
Cami and Harper, the main characters in this book, have appeared in earlier books in this series and another by Remi Carrington. They were such appealing people and I am glad that they are getting their own story. Cami, an only child and trust fund baby, has worked hard all her life for the approval of her parents—so much so that she majored in engineering when she hated it and got engaged to someone who cheated. Finally she came to her senses, quit her job, and dumped her fiance. She was trying to find her authentic self. Unfortunately that self was unacceptable to her dad and he cut her off from all help and stripped her of all of the belongings that he had bought for her. Enter Harper, her hero. This book was full of banter and good fun but there was an underlying message about how genuine love behaves. It was a great story and I am glad to recommend it! I was entrusted with a copy of this book by the author and this is my voluntary and honest review.
This is another great story in this series. Cami and Harper are such sweet, fun characters that just draw you in and keep you there. I must admit, I wasn’t a big fan of Cami at first. She was pretty shallow and immature, but Ms Carrington did a masterful job of letting her and helping her grow into her role as an adult. Harper is about the most perfect book boyfriend ever written. He’s sweet and funny and caring and just seems to know exactly what to say and do to make Cami (and us readers) fall deeper and deeper in love with him. The way he helps Cami see her relationship with her parents more clearly without being overbearing or controlling, is so impressive, I wish I’d had him when I was her age. This is a great read. I received a complimentary copy of this book. This is my freely given, honest review.
I love Ms. Carrington's books. They are so entertaining and I always have so much fun reading them. This one is no different. This is the fourth book in the Never Say Never series and it was absolutely delightful! I've loved all the books in this series, but I think this might be a little more my favorite. Cami and Harper are such sweet, fun, and endearing characters, it was great to see them get their own story. Ms. Carrington weaves such a charming tale, that I was pulled into the story right from the start, and was simply engrossed till the end. This story has plenty of funny moments, and will ultimately melt your heart and leave you with a smile on your face. A sweet, clean, and charming read you do not want to miss and I am happy to recommend!
I received a complimentary copy from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review.
This is a super funny book with absolutely delightful characters and a story line that will lead you through the laughter. Cami needs to decide what she wants to do with her life. Her her parents still pay for her phone, car, clothes, and such. So her father feels he has the right to control her life. He interferes with her job choice. But when everything else is falling down around her, she meets Harper and life is good!
This was such a fun read with genuine laugh-out-loud moments. Cami is trying so hard to be an independent young adult. Will Harper and Cami get the HEA they deserve? Grab your copy and enjoy her story!
I finally, get to read Cami and Harper's story. We did get some background on Cami in the past books and where she is coming from but here you get the whole picture. It is saddening that she has to work and get her parents' approval. Although they can afford a life of luxury for her, she pushed it to the side to become her own person. It is great that she found Harper, together they are a cute fit. You definitely need to read all books from miss Carrington, it just connect you back to romance and emotions.

One by one, all of the local singles are finding their Happily Ever Afters. In a series of intermingled, but completely standalone stories, author Remi Carrington has created a world of cowboys and the strong women who love them, with her captivating signature humor carrying the day. In this story, Cami (Camille--named after her grandmother, not the hurricane) (maybe) takes center stage as she moves from the metaphoric nursery into adulthood. I'm not spoiling the plot by suggesting there might be an HEA--this is a romance, after all! Harper? He's got a tiger by the tail and knows just what to do!
I've been following both Cami and Harper in this series for a while, but I never expected them to end up together. Cami has a lot of issues in her life when she runs into Harper, and I enjoyed reading about her growth as she handles these troubles while also juggling her relationship with Harper. The side characters were fantastic in this one (and as always with Remi's books).
Also, the first chapter was epic. I think I told everyone I know about it the day after I read it. There should be an award for the meet cute in this story.
Cami did not want to live the life her parents wanted her to. She gave them back everything they paid for including her SUV. She had met a fireman Harper and started working at Joji’s goat farm. She also managed social media sites for her friends. Cami was happy with her life. Cute and sometimes funny story of love and forgiveness. A daughter longing for her parents approval, but she didn’t really need it. Loved this book, as I do all by Remi Carrington.
I was given this advanced copy for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.
Accidentally Bumping Into Love - I absolutely loved, loved, loved this book. It was sweet, funny, a real page turner and absolutely amazing, with a wonderful storyline and really engaging characters. It will tug on your heart and leave you with a smile on your face. It is exactly what I come to expect from Remi Carrington and I know you will enjoy reading this book, just as I did.
I received an advanced copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
This story is funny from the beginning. I absolutely loved it. Cami has the most difficult parents, really just her Dad, who wants to control her life. But she's old enough to be on her own & make her own decisions even if that means not making much money. This story has a connection to the goat farm in the last book which helps make it so funny. This series really is the best. I received an ARC. This is my voluntary opinion.
There was so much to like about this story and like it I did. I can't imagine having parents like Cami's such conditional love and support and at some time you have got to cut the cord. It was good to see her decide to find a way to take care of her own business and it was good that she and Harper got their happily ever after. I appreciated the humor that was laced throughout this story as well.

This is book 4 in Carrington's Never Say Never series. This is Cami and Harper's story and if you've read Carrington's other reads you may have met these two previously. I loved the humor and sass in this read and while I loved these main characters I really also enjoyed some of the secondary characters as well. A fun, sweet, romance. Clean, Sweet, Funny - a great balance for a great romance read!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A funny yet heartfelt story with an emotional impact. Being a parent should mean you love your children regardless but the message in this book was so far from that, I actually hurt for her. Beyond that, the story was a delightful mix of humor and romance. I loved reading this book. Great characters and a wonderful storyline.

This book is absolutely wonderful! It's a fast read because once you start reading it you are hooked, you can't put it down. Cami and Harper's story is a sweet fun romance that will make you laugh out loud in spots, yet has just the right amount of conflict to keep you turning the pages. This book and the entire series is a must read.
Absolutely loved this book. Great story, laugh out loud moments, and wonderful characters. So glad to see Harper and Cami get their HEA. It is heartwarming to watch Cami grow into her independent, adult self. Harper is the perfect hero. I received a free copy of this book and this is my voluntary, honest review.
One Choice I'd Never Make is rom com at its best. I love this series by Remi Carrington. The characters are just so well defined. Cami and Harper make a great couple. I hate parents who make their gifts and love conditional on their offspring doing the parents bidding. Will they redeem themselves? There is wit, banter and romance in this well written and fun book. I highly recommend it.
This story is very romantic and sweet, but the chemistry is there between Cami and Harper. It was fun to read their story since they had a part in the previous books of this series. This story left a feel-good sensation in me when I was reading it and after, I liked it very much.

Cami and Harper are the cutest! I think this is my favorite in the series so far. I’ve been ready for Harper’s story from the start and this was just perfect. Loved all of Cami’s quirkiness, Harper’s family, the goats, and their happily ever after. There were some good belly laughs sprinkled throughout, just an overall happy read!
I just finished book four and I cannot wait to read book five! I loved how sweet Harper is to Camy in this book! I love how Remi brings her characters together. I love the love and laughter between the guys as well. I can literally say these books have made me laugh out loud and cry at the same time! Nicely done!
